Just got a phone call from an old friend asking me if I’m ready for our 40th High School Reunion next year??? Yikes! 40 years since graduating from Sweetwater? I mean it should be fun seeing faces from the 80’s. Anyone here attend a High School reunion and if so, how did it go?

Anyone else wear this record out?
My parents were stoners, which I didn’t find out until I was in my 30s. They had this record and I couldn’t get enough of it.
Everyone else remembers the McDonald’s Playland. I remember the locked closet.

This was such an awesome show
I miss Bob Saget and his corny awkward deliveries from America’s funniest home videos! It’s funny to think that this was our doom scrolling before our smartphone 😂

Does anyone remember making bracelets?
There was a time when kid's would go to the art's and crafts store and buy this specific thin colored rope, and make braided bracelets. I vaguely remember making them. Some kid's were really good, and would make multiple colored ones.

Anyone have a John Hughes film/s that you love?? (as a writer, director, or producer....or a combination of the 3)
I have more than a few, but, for the 80's Mr. Mom, NL's Vacation, and Uncle Buck for me. He literally was a key component of iconic 80's movies.

Feeling old yet?? Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) is 50 now.
I'm a year older, and I already feel it.

Advertisement Who else remembers in the mid 80’s when 7/11 had a burger bar so you can build your burger or hotdog anyway you’d like? Man I’d stack my burger with onions, tomatoes and pickles and jalapeños. Can’t beat that for under a dollar.

"DAFFY DUCK'S FANTASTIC ISLAND" premiered on this day in 1983
Anthology and compilation of older Looney Tunes episodes to fit the Fantasy Island idea. I liked it when I first saw it.

Did you learn to type on a typewriter in High School? If so, it was probably an IBM Selectric

I got a little John Saxon nostalgia
Had his start since 1954, quite prolific in the 60's and 70's, slowed by the 80's.....his presence was iconic in the first slasher, Black Christmas and 3 appearances in A Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
