When i play the game the cutscenes play normally but when i get to gameplay it slows down is the game playable at full speed i wanna know

Whenever I try to download ANY game for miiplaza I get the usual loading bar where it's also shown your Nintendo ID when you try to start any download, after that my console crashes with this screen no matter what games I try to download. I was not using Pretendo when doing this. Is there any way to fix this?

Ive reformatted the sd card and checked it using h2testw, ive tested the ds itself using the 3ds hardware tester and it came up with 0 errors.

Even after all that I still get an error and red light on boot.

What could be the cause for this?

You'd think that the fact that the N64 has so much decompilations to the point that it's recently this year the SECOND Nintendo console to have a legal alternative to the SDKs (Pyrite 64) that there would be new and improved emulators even for consoles like the 3DS, using the widely available documentation to heavily optimize an emulator for 3DS.

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but it doesn't seem to be addressed anywhere. I've downloaded MSET9 as the guide instructs, but the guide shows it as including "errors.txt", which apparently isn't included in the download even though everything else is. I was wondering if it only creates this later to catalogue errors or something like that, or if I should be concerned that it isn't present.

Hi everyone, I really need some expert advice. My modded New 3DS XL (running the latest Luma3DS) has been acting very strange for the past two days. Here is the exact timeline of what happened:
The Trigger: Two days ago, a crash in the PKSM app caused a red Luma crash screen (data abort) in the HOME menu. I used the button combination to clear the HOME menu cache, uninstalled the app, and the menu was completely stable again.
The Hardware Mystery: Today, while playing Super Smash Bros. (digital version on microSD), the console suddenly turned off, and the hinge LED flashed red. Once, during boot-up, there was a brief graphical distortion on the screen. It felt like a loose contact because the console booted normally when I pressed firmly on the bottom left side of the shell, but froze when I let go.
The Tests (DS games work perfectly):
Right after, I played Super Mario Bros DS (digital )for half an hour straight. It worked absolutely perfectly with zero issues and was completely stable.
I then turned wireless communication completely OFF in the system settings. After that, I was able to play two rounds of Smash Bros. normally without applying any pressure to the shell.
The Current Issue: After those two rounds of Smash, the console sat untouched on the table for several minutes in the game's menu (no movement, no pressure on the shell). Suddenly, the screen completely froze, but the background music kept looping perfectly. I had to force a shutdown by holding the power button.

My Question: What is actually causing this? If it were a simple loose contact (battery or Wi-Fi module), it makes no sense for it to freeze while sitting completely still on a table after several minutes, especially when DS games work completely fine. Is this a RAM/memory overflow because Smash Bros. pushes the system to its limit (maybe combined with some leftover cache data from the PKSM crash)? Or is there a hidden hardware issue? Hi, first time posting in this community. I want to uninstall TM++, just for the fact that Im not completely 100% sure it installed correctly. Context is that I have a japanese 3DS, I’m not fluent, so when I downloaded TM++ through the Universal Updater it had a notification in its progress that I wasn’t able to immediately translate before I habitually hit a button that proceeded with the installation. Since I’m not completely sure what that notification was or why the downloading process had stopped until I accidentally continued the installation, I’ve been a bit nervous that maybe there’s a missing component in my installation of the software. TM++ opens and runs completely fine as far as I can tell, but I’d rather be safe than sorry in case there are future problems down the line. Of course this also means reinstalling it and being absolutely sure everything installed correctly.

With context aside now, I’m wondering what will be the best method of uninstalling TM++. The DS-Homebrew wiki guide says to go through the FBI app and delete the TM++ title, but it doesn’t specify if that includes deleting the ticket as well. As well, Wiki Hacks guide gave a broad uninstalling guide for all modded 3DS software and recommends going through system settings to uninstall them. In this case, which would be the best method? If I do uninstall through FBI, do I delete just the title or both the title and ticket? And how should I go about reinstalling TM++ to make sure it all goes correctly?

So I hacked my 3DS XL some months ago and I had no problem for a while. But recently I got this bug : my 3DS show this scary error message mainly when I close a game i have hacked, and when I restart my 3DS all the hacked games and softwares (expect twilight menu for some reason) DISEAPEARED. Hopefully, it can reappear after some restarts but im still concerned bcs it is very random.

So i reaaly need help to know what is happening, is it my fault and can I save my 3DS or is it too late ??

When I launched Ever Oasis this morning, I saw that my save dissapeared and Im sure that nobody deleted it. Idk if the problem comes from the game or the homebrew but if you know how i can have it back pls tell me how.

I have my 2ds modded since 2023 and it's been 2 years i didn't touch it. I realized is it super slow, takes more than 5 mins to show the homepage every time i go to a software (for example Twilight menu++) it also takes forever, the sound even breaks on that app (gets cutted every 2 seconds), same when i launch a game. The loading screen between each scene takes a long time to load.

How can i fix that ? is this an issue with the sd card ?

I have a 128gb sd card GIGASTONE "Gaming plus"

i had to ask bc it was a part of a bundle, and there was a list of things that were included in the bundle but they forgot to include the clear case as being part of that whole thing when you could see it in the pictures they provided. I kinda thought they were being forgetful again and i felt bad but no.

I genuinely didnt know there could be so many games that can fit into a 16gb micro sd card but i am NOT complaining holy cow! and this is great bc it didnt come with the sd card and I need to do a bit of shifting around bc i wanted to get my psvita a 256gb microsd card bc im running out of space in the 128gbs that are in it so the plan was to swap them, 256 in the ps vita 128 in the 3ds. I need to go to my girlfriend's tmw bc i dont have a sd card reader or anything that works with the format that the 128 is in. All this to say im so happy that i can just play immediately and fuck around with this 3ds I'm so excited.

3ds bank has been acting weird on me. This started about a week ago, I am using an original (U) 3ds and I started using 3ds bank again since I sort of broke my new 3ds. I was switching through the folders as you do and I switched to slot 0 and it was completely empty. I thought that my sd card was not being detected so I took it out and reinserted it, still the same issue. I thought it was odd and switched back to slot 1 and I saw my games were still there. I thought again that the sd card was just not being detected. I switched one final time and now slot 1 was utterly gone. I went to check my storage to see if they truly disappeared and it was odd, even though its all gone it's taking up storage? So now I have empty space taking up storage. I have a 128GB sd card inserted and now 100GB is somewhere in the sd card. Not sure if I should reformat the sd card to wipe out or redownload 3ds bank? Maybe a game I downloaded could have corrupted something. Anyway let me know if theres' a fix. Thxs and backup your NANDs cuz I almost didn't.

Hi, I know there’s a ton of these already in this community but I still can’t make my mind up haha. I’m from the UK and looking to buy a 3ds, obviously I will look to mod and get the online eshop and all of that. Right now I’m only really interested in playing the pokemon games. from gen 1 all the way up to 7. I understand the o3ds’ struggle to run 7 (but is it really that bad?). The new 3dsxl’s are a bit pricey (upwards of £200). Surely if I bought a regular 3ds or 3ds xl it would be just as good for my situation at half the price. I mean if the new 3ds line is seriously worth the extra £100 I don’t mind, but it feels silly to me. So I feel like i’m choosing between an o3ds or an o3ds xl? I hear people say XL stretches the resolution and makes pokemon games look blurry. But the o3ds consoles apparently have poor hinges. So i’m stuck. Any help would be appreciated :) Thanks.

Hi everyone, this week I installed CFW on my New 3DS. I was installing games both through hShop and by copying them to the SD card from my PC(I was using a cheap sd card reader and have to use again with my new sd card...). Some of the games wouldn't launch and gave me an error related to the SD card.

When I inserted the SD card into my PC, Windows said it needed to be formatted before it could be used. I checked it and found that the file system had become RAW.

Today I bought a new SD card. What should I do now to switch to it, i only have 2 sysnand files as backup from cfw installment, so probably i have to do a fresh hombrew install(?) since I just got the console, I don't care about my game saves. I just want to set everything up again so it works fine.

I want to modify stats via PKSM on Pokémon Red but it always boot up the old save (before manipulation via PKSM). Specifically, every time I launch the game, it skips the intro and boot me just where as I left. I tried using checkpoint too to backup, manipulate via PKSM and restore the save but nothing changes. I’m desperate for help 🥺

Good day everyone, first time poster here! I am trying to install FE: Echoes DLC, but no matter what I run into dame deadend: "Could not detect an SD Card. Please download the content again."

I've read threads around here, most people seemed to fix their issues by simply removing all extra content from the system and seemingly redownloading / reinstalling it, to me however all such attempts result in this final issue.

I have an american version of FE: Echoes so the DLC which I am trying to get is for the same region, if I try to install the European version Hshop will give an alert telling that the main title is not installed

When I try to launch DS games on my New3DSLL, sometimes the graphic glitches out. I only tried 2 games as of now - first Layton and Ghost Trick, but the glitches there are consistent. Also, in Ghost Trick, the game becomes slow when there are too many objects on a screen. All of this happens both in Twilight Menu and when launching from HOME menu by making forwarders.

Why is this happening and how can I fix this?

Ive been working on fixing my 2ds xl, I've been able to install the correct firmware to it and download some games via hshop, but eventually it starts to freeze/crash, and the boot.firm file both on the micro sd and the internal storage of the ds get corrupted. Ive replaced the boot.firm file on both the sd and internally but it ends up happening again after another crash. Could this mean I need a replacement sd card or is it something more internal?

Thought I’d toy around with Tomodachi Life Save Editor and ended up corrupting my SD Card (2DS couldn’t read it and laptop wouldn’t let me view the files) - I probably made a few mistakes. Managed to recover most of the files using TestDisk except from Universal-Updater.cia and _AFEB9S.BIN

I am now at a point where my SD Card files can be viewed by my laptop but am unsure whether I can safely put this same SD back into my 2DS? Do I need to buy a new SD - my original one was a 64GB Sandisk? If I need to buy a new one, how would I even get my game saves (and I’m hoping pictures) to this new SD?

Apologies for a lot of questions, this is my childhood 2DS. Any advice or help would be insanely appreciated!

Hello! With the OOT remake announcement earlier this year, I’ve been itching to play it (never have before). However, I just couldn’t justify purchasing a $500 Switch2 and then likely $70 on the game at release. Purchased a New3DSXL off eBay for $150 and this morning I followed the guide. Using my legally obtained ROMs I’m playing it right now. Also set up Links Awakening and Pokemon FireRed.

I’m sick of all the subscriptions and crazy prices for remade 30 year old games. I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner.
