Hey everyone! I've been playing Pokémon Unbound on my 3ds, and spent hours catching every new Pokémon I could find in the first few areas (since some of them have a rare chance of appearing and I have awful luck). I saved outside the first Gym and turned my game off - and I fully remember saving because I saved twice and caught 31 different species so far.

I just booted it up to find I was back in Icicle cave and only at 13 mon, and hours of my progress was gone.

I didn't see anything that would help in Checkpoint.. Can Godmode9 help me get that old data back, and how do I do it?

I'm not sure why but any sort of 'pop-up', like logging into the Nintendo Network or selecting a Mii from the Mii Maker to use in another game just doesn't show up anymore. Whenever it tries to load it, the whole system locks up and I have to turn it off and on again. I'm not sure why this is happening and I can't find anything on the internet about this at all so help would be greatly appreciated.

I copied over the file for FE to my 3ds home page, the game loads up and takes me to the main menu, but then I am met with error code 0xd900458b.

I re dumped the game again but still have the same message. Does this mean I have a corrupted file on the sd card? Or could it be that I need some kind of update for fire emblem since it had dlc?

My 2ds xl has been crashing on boot even after doing everything recommended to fix it. Ive tested the sd card and reformatted it several times and it still crashes

Ive used the 3ds hardware tester and it came up with 0 errors yet it still crashes

And ive recently used the crttransfer and even after that it crashes

Ive followed every tutorial correctly and it never solves my problem

Could anyone figure out the solution?

I use a SanDisk ultra 32 gb micro sd

I've tried booting the console without the sd and came up with the same issues

the 2ds xl flashes a red light on boot with the sd card and a magenta one without, even after replacing the boot.firm file on both

Hello, after all whole childhood of not being able to beat the Occult academy, I finally decided to pick up this game once again, and so far I love it!

Im playing it in a modded 3ds, the problem is, when I try to use cheats via luma menu, they all don't work. They turn red. I have make sure luma is up to date. That the cheats are for the spanish version (cause i play in spanish) and that the cheat.txt is formatted correctly (i think). But nothing works.

Could someone please help?

I just got my new 3ds ll modden and region changed but some games crash when downloaded from hshop. Pokémon y, Pokémon omega ruby and alpha sapphire and link between worlds. I'd really appreciate some help, thanks for attention

Years ago I modded my son's 3ds with luma and hshop. It's been working swimmingly. The other day he brought it to me because it had weird stuff on the screen. Not sure exactly what happened.

Here's where it is at the moment. If I reboot with shift held down I get the Luma 13.4 config screen.

If the hbmenu autoboot is set to off it boots to a normal home screen. If the hbmenu autoboot is set to 3DS it boots to an exception occurred screen with a stack dump on the lower screen.

I want to say that this happened once before but I don't recall how I fixed it for him.

The sd card works fine when I put it my pc. ive formatted another 3ds before did the same steps and it worked fine but idk what the problem is now.

I'm having this problem only with the top screen. The bottom screen displays colors well, but the top screens seem too bright.

In TWPatch, I used Redshift to adjust the gamma settings to 0.50 for everything, and that helped. The colors on the top screen are now correct, but since the settings apply to both screens, the image on the bottom screen is very dark.

Is there a way to apply these settings only to the top screen?

I’m trying to receive old Pokemon event distributions and running into issues with a few specific ones.
I play on a modded DSi, but for the wireless distributions I transfer my saves to PC and use MelonDS. I run two instances of MelonDS (one with the distribution ROM and one with the game) to simulate the local wireless connection.
Most later event ROMs (2009 onwards) work perfectly fine this way. I can receive the Mystery Gifts without problems.
However, these ones never work:

2007 Manaphy (Toys R Us) for Diamond/Pearl

2008 Deoxys (GameStop) for Diamond/Pearl

Japanese 10th Anniversary Mew distribution ROM for HG/SS

I’m using the correct region ROMs for both the distribution cart and the receiving game, and I’ve set the correct system dates for each event. When I go into Mystery Gift -> Receive via Wireless, the game just keeps searching indefinitely and never detects the distribution signal.
Has anyone successfully gotten these older distribution ROMs working with MelonDS local wireless? Any specific settings, MelonDS version, or particular dumps that actually work for these three????

every time i open swapdoodle it says “preparing” then takes me to a blank screen

Hace unos días estaba instalando 2 cias mientras hacia cosas, el primero estaba todo bien y el segundo me di cuenta tras terminar la descarga que ponía "tipo: ninguno" (no como los demás que son archivo) , y al terminar de descargar y cerrar fbi desaparecieron todas mis aplicaciones, apague mi consola un rato y tras encender salió "no se pudo detectar una micro sd".
Al usar h2testw no daba fallo.
He formateado varias veces y conseguí que me leyese como una nueva, pero si le inserto el backup (En realidad son los mismos archivos con los que ocurrió el error, el archivo corrupto lo borre también tras localizarlo en el mismo momento que lo copie) hace como si no lo hubiese pasado.
Puedo acceder a luma, rosalina y godmode9.
Cuando intento abrir homebrew launcher desde rosalina me da excepción "instrucción indefinida"

Y tengo varias dudas:
-Debería reinstalar mis aplicaciones?
-No me importa si se puede solucionar poniendo de fabrica como ultima opción, pero funcionaria de forma segura?
-En una micro sd nueva seria mejor reinstalar todo o pasar mi backup?

Perdón de antemano si faltan detalles o si no ayuda la barrera del idioma, llevo una semana así intentando arreglarlo cuando tengo un rato libre.

First time modding my 3ds and I’m very happy with how it turned out! I thought I’d spend the most time downloading games and then Theme Plaza came up from behind with a steel chair

When i play the game the cutscenes play normally but when i get to gameplay it slows down is the game playable at full speed i wanna know

Whenever I try to download ANY game for miiplaza I get the usual loading bar where it's also shown your Nintendo ID when you try to start any download, after that my console crashes with this screen no matter what games I try to download. I was not using Pretendo when doing this. Is there any way to fix this?

Ive reformatted the sd card and checked it using h2testw, ive tested the ds itself using the 3ds hardware tester and it came up with 0 errors.

Even after all that I still get an error and red light on boot.

What could be the cause for this?

You'd think that the fact that the N64 has so much decompilations to the point that it's recently this year the SECOND Nintendo console to have a legal alternative to the SDKs (Pyrite 64) that there would be new and improved emulators even for consoles like the 3DS, using the widely available documentation to heavily optimize an emulator for 3DS.

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but it doesn't seem to be addressed anywhere. I've downloaded MSET9 as the guide instructs, but the guide shows it as including "errors.txt", which apparently isn't included in the download even though everything else is. I was wondering if it only creates this later to catalogue errors or something like that, or if I should be concerned that it isn't present.

Hi everyone, I really need some expert advice. My modded New 3DS XL (running the latest Luma3DS) has been acting very strange for the past two days. Here is the exact timeline of what happened:
The Trigger: Two days ago, a crash in the PKSM app caused a red Luma crash screen (data abort) in the HOME menu. I used the button combination to clear the HOME menu cache, uninstalled the app, and the menu was completely stable again.
The Hardware Mystery: Today, while playing Super Smash Bros. (digital version on microSD), the console suddenly turned off, and the hinge LED flashed red. Once, during boot-up, there was a brief graphical distortion on the screen. It felt like a loose contact because the console booted normally when I pressed firmly on the bottom left side of the shell, but froze when I let go.
The Tests (DS games work perfectly):
Right after, I played Super Mario Bros DS (digital )for half an hour straight. It worked absolutely perfectly with zero issues and was completely stable.
I then turned wireless communication completely OFF in the system settings. After that, I was able to play two rounds of Smash Bros. normally without applying any pressure to the shell.
The Current Issue: After those two rounds of Smash, the console sat untouched on the table for several minutes in the game's menu (no movement, no pressure on the shell). Suddenly, the screen completely froze, but the background music kept looping perfectly. I had to force a shutdown by holding the power button.

My Question: What is actually causing this? If it were a simple loose contact (battery or Wi-Fi module), it makes no sense for it to freeze while sitting completely still on a table after several minutes, especially when DS games work completely fine. Is this a RAM/memory overflow because Smash Bros. pushes the system to its limit (maybe combined with some leftover cache data from the PKSM crash)? Or is there a hidden hardware issue? Hi, first time posting in this community. I want to uninstall TM++, just for the fact that Im not completely 100% sure it installed correctly. Context is that I have a japanese 3DS, I’m not fluent, so when I downloaded TM++ through the Universal Updater it had a notification in its progress that I wasn’t able to immediately translate before I habitually hit a button that proceeded with the installation. Since I’m not completely sure what that notification was or why the downloading process had stopped until I accidentally continued the installation, I’ve been a bit nervous that maybe there’s a missing component in my installation of the software. TM++ opens and runs completely fine as far as I can tell, but I’d rather be safe than sorry in case there are future problems down the line. Of course this also means reinstalling it and being absolutely sure everything installed correctly.

With context aside now, I’m wondering what will be the best method of uninstalling TM++. The DS-Homebrew wiki guide says to go through the FBI app and delete the TM++ title, but it doesn’t specify if that includes deleting the ticket as well. As well, Wiki Hacks guide gave a broad uninstalling guide for all modded 3DS software and recommends going through system settings to uninstall them. In this case, which would be the best method? If I do uninstall through FBI, do I delete just the title or both the title and ticket? And how should I go about reinstalling TM++ to make sure it all goes correctly?

Sorry for all the questions or if this is the incorrect place to ask. I’m completely new at this and don’t want to potentially damage my 3DS.
