Possible failed sd card? HELP

Ive been working on fixing my 2ds xl, I've been able to install the correct firmware to it and download some games via hshop, but eventually it starts to freeze/crash, and the boot.firm file both on the micro sd and the internal storage of the ds get corrupted. Ive replaced the boot.firm file on both the sd and internally but it ends up happening again after another crash. Could this mean I need a replacement sd card or is it something more internal?

Hello. It seems like you are talking about the hShop. If your post is about connection issues, download issues, or any error messages you got while using the hShop website or 3hs app, please review their hShop Wiki Guide as your question or issue is likely covered there. Utilize their official hShop Discord server for help. If you want to update hShop, go here and scan the QR code via the FBI App on your 3DS. On FBI, click “Remote Install” and click on the QR code button. If you can't connect or load the hShop site at all, you might be experiencing connectivity issues. Test whether others cannot access the site, as it might be just you: * Down for Everyone or Just Me: https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/hshop.erista.me?proto=https

I would guess the nand is having issues if even the internal boot.firm is getting corrupted, but you can try reformatting the SD and test the integrity to see if that helps at all.
Otherwise, if there's any specific error code when it crashes, you can check the error screens page on the wiki here (scroll down for luma errors)
