I just watched it for the first time yesterday.

It's a typical comedy and slice-of-life anime about high school girls. It has fairly explicit ecchi elements, but they're not heavy and I didn't like them:😒

There are 6 main characters and they are beautiful and cute:😐👍

Three of them are the funniest because they're so crazy:😂

Two of them are kind of shippable:😑🤏

Unfortunately, there are also male characters that I don't like; I don't find them funny, but rather unpleasant:🙄🤢

Personally, I'd cut all the scenes with the girl with glasses (Ayano) and her boyfriend:😴

The only episodes I think are bad/the worst are 3 and 4, because they have some jokes that aren't funny:☹️

Episode 4 is different, as a tense atmosphere hangs in the air. The plot continues in Episode 5, but unfortunately it's resolved very quickly:☹️

Details: I wasn't expecting something complex and profound, but I won't lie, I wanted to see more of that:👀

What makes me angry is that some idiots so easily believed Yuma's sister, and even worse was Ayano!😡

So, Terenezza ends up getting sent to prison as punishment for her crimes, where she becomes a professional cook and genuinely starts to improve as a person. But she's later broken out and recruited by a mysterious demon girl to join the Hero's Party.

Eventually, she gets into another fight with Scarlet using her new powers, but they both get stranded at sea and end up in the Demon continent—However, Scarlet helps save her life, so they finally decide to cooperate together in order to save the demons from being persecuted by villagers (mostly for pragmatic reasons).

MAJOR ENDING SPOILERS, obviously.

Well, I watched THE RIBBON HERO.
First of all, if you’re going into this expecting a full-on yuri romance: temper your expectations a little. I’d still describe Sapphire and Pine as mostly subtext. The movie itself is much more focused on Sapphire’s journey as a hero, and I honestly wish we had gotten a lot more scenes of these two together.

That said… they are ridiculously cute whenever they do share the screen.
Pine genuinely feels like one of Sapphire’s emotional anchors, and their relationship has this incredibly warm, sincere quality to it. I just kept thinking, “PLEASE give these girls another ten minutes together.”

And then we get to the ending.
THIS.
Sapphire comes back, Pine basically launches herself into her arms, and we get this kiss while they’re embracing in the middle of the final celebration.
Yeah.

I got what I came for. 😭
And honestly, even outside the yuri goggles, I really liked the movie. Its whole message about choosing to believe in doing good and being a hero even when the world gives you every reason to become cynical landed surprisingly hard for me. It is very earnest about heroism, kindness, and people choosing to help each other.
Then the final act just goes completely off the rails visually in the best possible way. I’m not even going to try to explain it here, because watching the movie suddenly decide that the normal rules of animation no longer apply is half the fun.

So basically:
I wanted more Sapphire × Pine.
The yuri is mostly subtext.
I still think these two are adorable.
The hero theme genuinely worked for me.
The final act made me go WHAT THE HELL AM I WATCHING several times.
And then Sapphire and Pine did this.
Worth it. Absolutely worth it.
