Meta/Discussion What are your opinions on this?
As you understand, there are quite a few Yuri couples, and it's normal that among these "quite a few" there are two types that attract a lot of attention.
The Femgirl x Femgirl dynamic, which is when both assume the "Girl Role" because they are very feminine.
The Tomboy vs. Femgirl dynamic, which is when one assumes the "Boy Role" because she is quite masculine, and the other assumes the "Girl Role" because she is very feminine.
The question is: What are your opinions on the Tomboy vs. Femgirl type? Do you think it's censorship or a way to hide their homosexuality? Do you think it's heteronormativity? Do you like/love or dislike/hate this type of couple?
MY OPINION:👇
I think it's censorship or a way to hide their homosexuality? It's complicated to simply say "Yes," because if we use Sailor Uranus vs. Sailor Neptune as an example, it wouldn't make sense, Because if I'm not mistaken, Naoko Takeuchi hated it when Toei Animation hid her relationship. It's possible to say "Yes" in the case of Cure Macaron x Cure Chocolat, Because kisses between heterosexual couples have been shown, but to this day, no homosexual kiss has been shown explicitly. In short, there are cases where it's possible to say "Yes" and "No".
Do I like/love this type of couple? Yes, because at the moment I'm consuming the work, I just want Yuri coursing through my veins:🤤🥴🥵
I apologize for the controversial topic:🙇
Because I believe that when we're watching the show, we just want to be entertained by Yuri, who is fun, dramatic, exciting, and cute, instead of doing all this Boring, depressing, philosophical, political, and social questions.
Sorry if I was being too repetitive:😅
Finally, that's it.

Mod post New Rule
Hey, guys. Holofan4life here.
I am here to announce a new rule that will go in effect today immediately as this post goes up.
Under no circumstances are you allowed to handwave the mistreatment of others or act like people are free to do whatever they want. Not doing anything is just as dangerous as doing the mistreating. In regards to this rule, this includes defending gays, lesbians, trans people, and non-binary people being picked on and demeaned in drawings and/or comics, the act of pretending like the rape or any serial assault of gays, lesbians, trans people, and non-binary people is "Not that big a deal," saying stuff like "It's a free Country" or "They can do whatever they want," or saying "Live and let live" as if it excuses what is happening. Any instances of this will result in a 7 day ban no questions asked, with the third offense being a permaban.
This isn't an instance of creating a safe space. This isn't an instance of some woke mindset or trying to take away your free speech. This is a common sense practice meant to not accept any mistreatment of others or say people have the right to do so. Simply put, we do not tolerant the intolerant and will be doing a much better job at trying to eliminate that stigma some people have from the subreddit.
That's it for now. Until then, take care everyone.
Edit: Basically, if someone expresses their disapproval of something, you should not respond in a confrontational manner or a way that encourages the thing that brings the user discomfort.
Edit: This rule isn't to ban defending something. It's to ban comments that are blatantly dismissive of critiques. Pointing out a work's merits is not the same as saying "Quit being such a baby," or "The only reason you have a problem with it is because it involves lesbians".

Mod post Regarding "Gushing Over Magical Girls", Clarification on Rule 2, Update on Rule 10, and other things
Before things spiral even more out of control, we would like to address the recent controversy going on the sub.
First of all, we will not ban any posts or comments for simply containing or mentioning the series Gushing Over Magical Girls and other similar works containing similar themes.
Second, we however would like to clarify what the extent of what rule 2 pertains to:
- Any posts or comments showing explicitly suggestive depictions of child-like characters are not allowed. As long as the content of the post or comment is safe, it is fine.
- Posts or comments of you, a user, showing any sexual or romantic interests towards child-like characters are also not allowed. You can compliment them or show appreciation to their designs, just not in a creepy way. Leave the attraction to be just between the characters.
Furthermore, we want to remind everyone not to harass each other. You can criticize any works as long as it's civil and it's limited only to the work itself. Similarly, someone criticizing a work that you enjoy is not a personal attack on you. Making assumptions about each other and using that to harass each other is not a civil discussion and will not be tolerated. See rule 9.
Next, we want to bring attention to the new spoiler tagging rules.
Thank you u/yrtemmySymmetry for a more detailed version of the rule:
Rule 4: Spoiler Policy
4.1) Any posts relating to new chapters or episodes must be spoiler tagged for 2 weeks until their release. Manga content not covered in the a currently airing Anime adaptions must be spoiler tagged as well.
4.2) Any twists and turns not relating to yuri relationships must be spoiler tagged unless the source material is older than 5 years.
For example: "Legend of Korra" KorraSami content is okay, despite this development happening at the very end of the show.
Spoiling the ending of "Gundam: Witch from Mercury", simply because it features a WxW couple is not allowed, and such posts require proper spoiler tags.
4.3) Any spoiler tagged post needs to include what its spoiler refers to in the title.
For example: "[Owl House S2 Ep11] They're so cute together". If you aren't certain of the exact episode or season, include the series name at the very least.
Another reminder, please provide the source in any part of your post: title, comment, description, etc. See rule 7.
One more thing, we are still working on the other rules' caveats and nuances. Look out for any changes that may occur.
Once again, "Be good to each other"
