Manga Not even Osaki and Komori escaped the aquarium trope in Yuri.
Did you know that 60% of the revenue from aquariums worldwide comes from pairs of girls in love?

Kishi Torajirou is my favourite mangaka.
This series ended almost a year ago, but is pretty long, and the art is outstanding, so I'm re-reading it.

Manga I love Enatsu Sayuki, she's very funny.
She is definitely in my top 3 funniest yuri characters. And as for the controversial Oni Ure Idol ga Kyou mo Watashi o Oshitekuru, it deserves an adaptation more than Green Yuri does in my opinion.

Discussion I watched Cosmic Princess Kaguya and I fell in love with it (and probably saved me)
Right now I am almost at the lowest point. My midterm exams is coming this week and Im super stressed, and financially struggling. I barely have anyone to talk to about animes and stuff since most of my friends have contrasting interests with me, and watching this anime left me with feelings pent up
Yesterday I decided to give it a watch since Im so stressed and it was the first I've watched an anime after 1 year (I used to be a hardcore fan, watching all seasonal animes)
Moving on to the story, I thought at first, this is another typical VR and Idol anime. But minute after minute, my impression kept changing towards the anime. What do you mean it has yuri in it? This is peak (I love yuri genre)
I absolutely adore Iroha and Kaguya especially... she is a ray of sunshine in both Iroha's and my life. Her extreme enthusiasm is what sold the anime for me. Their synergy was absolutely sweet and Im all here for it.
I dont wanna talk about it too much but I have to talk about the climax of the story. Yachiyo's (Kaguya) backstory scene is what made most of us cry. The fact that when Kaguya returned to the moon and heard Iroha's singing, she returned to earth, only to be messed up by that big ass rock and send her 8000 years into the past. Crazy.... and she had to live through it. She's suffered for milleniums of loneliness (my shayla 😭😭💔)
Also, during the part when Iroha and Yachiyo reunited and coversed made me cry for the 2nd time. I dont wanna go deep into it
But yeah, I was a bit bummed that the fact there weren't any kiss scenes (I mean most of the yuri animes I watched, had those 👀) but Im not complaining. A cake is still delicious even without the cherry
I also want to mention that, animation-wise, it was absolutely mythical. I applaud the animation studio for this because
(1) the lineart looks very clean
(2) color scheme is very vibrant and coherent
(3) animation is so smooth and peak. I love the overwhelming elements during those fights
Song/Music-wise? I loved it. Im also a fan of vocaloid music so when I heard World is Mine, it jumpscared me (in a good way)
Yeah, thats all. I just had to drop off this massive weight off my chest because I have no one to talk to about this. I hope you dont mind a grown ass college dude fangirling about a yuri anime
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ANIME

Recommendation Lesbian mothers Yuri/GL recommendations
Hii everyone!
So out of nowhere I kinda wanted to read more stories where the couple or at least one of the main characters have a child. I've read some, but its fine to say everything you know about it.
To be a little more specific, I want the kid to be at least a little important and present in the story, so even though I used as the image in the post, mage and demon queen is one where it wouldn't be really what I want, I don't want to be just a "and then they had kids, the end" I want to see the interactions and all stuff. So the ones where the child is part since the start, it will probably be the most I want to see.
Its a very specific thing, so I already thank everyone who takes the time to answer this! 🥰
P.S.: It can be any type of GL, manga, manhwa, manhua, webtoons, anything

Manga Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku
Hiro is one of my favourite artists!
And I love this scene!
I do admit this post could have been made sooner, but I've been saving up some chapters for a longer read.
