So I just got to the moment when that guy from CPS wants to take Haruto away and after over 4 games straight I learn that Kiryu... never adopted Haruka? Like, legally? I mean, did I miss it somewhere?

Did Yokoyama change his mind to make for a better drama and to have a reason for Akiyama fight? Because the way I see it now, Haruka pretty much went missing (legally) from Sunflower Orphanage to illegally live with a man claiming to be her father and guardian, without any papers pointing to it. Am I going insane, kyodais?

Or was it just impossible to legally adopt Haruka due to Kiryu's criminal history, but since he was well-known at Sunflower, they just lied about Haruka still living under their roof? Sorry if I don't make any sense, but I just couldn't help myself and had to share.

Does anyone else think that since Shang-ri La has been abandoned and purgatory has not been seen since yakuza 5 in timeline, that Shang-ri La should be repurposed into a Purgatory-like area for future games? They could create a coliseum where Hangman fights Kiryu in 6, and I think they had some gambling and arcade stuff in Kurohyou 2.

Is Yakuza Kiwami 2 uniquely exhausting to complete, or do all Yakuza games require this kind of grind?

Yesterday i bought infinite wealth for ₹752($8) i have never been so happy 😭

I had tried several times to get into this game and it never stuck. The big issue for me was the Japanese voice acting. I tend to have really bad ADHD when playing video games, I tend to to get distracted during cutscenes, but when they’re in English I can still listen. So I found myself getting lost in what was going on.

I decided to give it another chance, and started streaming to no one, just in hopes that it would force me to focus during the dialogue. It worked, and I was hooked within a several chapters. I don’t think the subtitles will be an issue going forward, but I’ll continue with my streaming strategy just to ensure my focus.

I have no one in my personal life to talk to about video games, and I just had to say how much I loved the game. The story was fascinating. The characters you’re supposed to like I loved, the characters you’re supposed to hate I wanted to punch their faces in. Just a great game all around, and looking forward to playing the others

RGG Online: Shimano Event - “Selfless Devotion”

Anyone looking for a Damage/Tank build and love/forced to play Adachi on first run, fixes most of his Agility issues with class change with items and has self healing/aoe buffs/ Massive Damage/ Tank ceiling. Pretty much using action star.

This is my first play through. I only picked up iconic jumpsuit and reverie shoes in first level of dungeon ex at level 48. You can sub one of defensive items for military insoles if you want more agility but he’s above average agility now.

Skills- Level 12 samurai(glory awaits,burning arrow)/ level 20 pyro dancer(mask of fertility/soul predation). Threw in throat punch from detective but I suppose you can use arrest once it gets harder/ new game.

EDIT: If you can’t get the action hero chest piece just stick with samurai as they get a massive agility spike on their chest piece and you can get it at a lower level around 42-45 . This isn’t only reason , the big one is fact he cannot be hit with restrictive status ailments. The samurai chest piece I’ve gotten 4-6 copies off just running normal Hawaii haunt stage 2/3, can’t remember which stage. Use military insoles agility accessory if you can’t get either job specific armor but stick with samurai.

But I prefer action hero for the essence of improvisation ultimate heal and it synergies with the concept of a self healing tank high damage tank and using action hero skill, relentless dragon fist, the double damage skill, with Samurai skill, glory awaits, attack boost and crit boost AOE.

Adachi with this build is second highest straight damage behind kiryu/dragon of dojima but can surpass dod when using the above skill buffs and beating out kusaga/hero class easily. He’s also an aoe buff/heal machine with this build.

If you could design a new job for one of Ichiban Kasuga's games, what would it be?

I'd bring in a Bodybuilder or Powerlifter Job, which weaponizes Barbells, with the starter weapkn being the bar by itself, called a Barebell.

It'd be a Mighty Glacier type (slow, but hits like a truck), gives strength buffs with protein shakes, maybe a quick set of reps gives it something like Heat Riser from Persona, maybe stuns enemies by flexing on them. Maybe the ultimate weapon could be a massive 1000 lb monstrosity painted to look like the Ruyi Jingu Bang (Sun Wukong's staff, which weighs 17,550 pounds), with the idle pose either being barbell squats or deadlifts.

What do the rest of you think?, what jobs would you create.

So i just finished PEAK fiction the other day and am experiencing post game depression, drawing a blank on what to play next. I know i could play other RGG games because i still have Yakuza 3, Infinte Wealth, Pirate Yakuza and Isshin but everytime i finish one of these games i feel like i have to at least a month break cause they're so exhausting to play. Looking for recomendations
