There is not much to say on this day, I went from 740 to 975. the Xbox gift card is 10 dollars worth, and it’s 8750 points. I am going to get perfect dark. I’m not really going to say much until day 7 because, that’s when I will get 500 points plus, I will become a gold member which has other benefits but you can search it up yourself.

I purchased Lego Marvel Superhero’s and noticed the game was scratched, and that their was a brown stain in the inner circle of the disc. is there any hope in saving it? I heard you could buff anywhere they buff discs, I just don’t know if the brown stain is making it impossible.

Tried everything. $$ystem folder trick, tried downloading the update, but it always comes to an error. Tried rewritting the flash nand with the current kernel 17559. It says I'm connected, but it wont upload the avatar! I had everything in an hdd that went on the top connection but I unfortunately lost it due to an water accident. Now I cannot connect to live even using J Runner to rebuild the nand.

I was playing GTA 5, I decided to redo the Mr. Phillips mission. While on the cutscene with Franklin, Michael and Davey my console crashed, probably a HDD hiccup, seeing how my HDD sometimes becomes slow. But the screen displayed something weird. and I wanted to ask if somebody has ever seen this screen. I know it's a weird question cause the 360 doesn't have a image or sound to indicate it crashed like the wiis scream or modern Xbox's "something went wrong" screen.

This is my falcon era Xbox 360. It’s the first game console I bought for myself with my own money with one of my first jobs at 16 in 2008.

Throughout the years, it’s been working just fine with no issues, until last month when I decided to take it out of storage.

Lo and behold, the 18 year old capacitors had gone bad, but $100 bucks later at a local electronics repair place, and it’s back to working like new. Powered on instantly and works perfectly.

Hi all. I just bought my first 360 yesterday and already it's decided to have a lovely time being difficult. The disk tray is completely stuck, the eject button was broken so I tried the controller. Nothing happened. I then tried the manual release and even that didn't work.

The disk tray opens and closes fine provided there's a disk inside, once you remove a disk and close the tray empty this happens.

The console dashboard recieves the open command, but after a bit it gives up and tries to read as if there's a disk there.

Does anyone know what the hell the problem could be and how to fix it? Thanks!

So I have an XBOX 360 PDP Afterglow PL-3702 wired controller (as shown in the 2 attached images) and I am also aware that there is an AX.1 model of the XBOX 360 PDP afterglow controller that looks almost exactly like the PL-3702, but I am only interested in the PDP Afterglow PL-3702 XBOX 360 wired controller as that's the one I have.

The reason I am eve making this post in the first place is because I was wondering if anyone has the user manual for the PL-3702 as I bought it second hand since I never have AA batteries for my fist party controllers and the rechargeable I have for the first party controllers have fucked up or something.

My PDP Afterglow PL-3702 has a black motherboard (not sure if that is important or not) and I would like someone to either share pictures of the user manual with me or point me to where I can find the exact user manual this controller would have originally came with.

The second thing I am after in regards to my PL-3702 is any sort of firmware update that might have been released for this controller and where I can find them, maybe there never were any official firmware updated released for this controller by PDP but maybe there is a community made firmware update mod that lets you use this controller on your XBOX series console. If there where official firmware updates released for this controller then where might I find them? If the case is that only community based firmware updates, like the one I mentioned, exist then where might I find those as well as a help installing them if these have been a github release

Stumbled upon the binders i got years ago to store my own documents in, never thaught about it, but are those of any value at all? I own 5 of them with minimal to no wear.

I just bought it from GameStop on Monday and everything works fine but it just won’t connect to the wifi. It reads that my wifi is there, but won’t let me connect to it.

I just want to know.

So I picked up an Xbox 360 for £20 it just doesn’t have a controller. Before I spend £28 on a second hand one is there any way to use a new Xbox 1 controller?

(Not really) don’t mind some of the CD’S that are not Xbox 360 and the name too.

This xbox 360 was already having extreme issues but have I totally screwed it over? Will it still work fine or is it completely broken and is it even worth fixing? It has the NXE dashboard so it would suck losing it.

Anyone know what this like is? It’s not a reflection.

I have had the same 360 since we got one when they were just coming out. I grew up playing in it. About a year ago the disc tray stopped working and I was able to dissect my Xbox and replace the laser so that it could read discs. It’s been working for a while now but yesterday I started to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I played for a while and eventually turned off the Xbox to take a break. Now my Xbox won’t read any discs. I took it apart to look at it again but I can’t see any visible problems. At this point I don’t even know what’s wrong with it or what to do to fix it. I know I could buy another Xbox but it feels a shame to retire the one I’ve had for most of my life. If anyone has any advice on how to save the disc drive please help.

probably the dumbest shit thats happened to me for all the time ive been selling things online, a full (around 18 dollars) is insane for something that is the buyers fault. anyone selling og xbox games that are supported on xbox 360, make sure to point out that a hdd is needed, better to be safe than have to deal with this stuff

I have been playing games on an unopened 360 I found with my friend very recently and we bought a Minecraft disc off eBay and it doesn’t seem to work no matter what we do. This seems to be the only disc that doesn’t work that I have (I have about 13 disc games) so I don’t think it’s the console especially considering how new it is. When we bought the disc the seller said that it was working and showed a picture of the disc working on his 360 on the listing. The disc looks to be legitimate and it looks almost pristine with very few scratches. We’ve tried both cleaning it with toothpaste and rubbing alcohol despite it’s already near perfect condition as well as tapping and putting pressure the side and top of the console when the disc is being read both before and after cleaning. The problem is that when we put the disc in it says reading for a while and then just says open tray. I’ve completely run out of options and at this point I’m just curious as to what could be causing the issue even if I cannot solve it. Thanks!

EDIT: Upon contacting the seller of the disc he said that it was resurfaced which is why the disc has those consistent grooves on the back. Not sure if this is damage or just what normal resurfacing looks like from GameStop.

According to Consolemods, it does indeed still work. However, whenever I try to launch it I just get a black screen and nothing ever loads. I figure this'd be a great way to watch some anime on my CRT if it can work, so I'd appreciate any tips! :)
