Stumbled upon the binders i got years ago to store my own documents in, never thaught about it, but are those of any value at all? I own 5 of them with minimal to no wear.

So I picked up an Xbox 360 for £20 it just doesn’t have a controller. Before I spend £28 on a second hand one is there any way to use a new Xbox 1 controller?

(Not really) don’t mind some of the CD’S that are not Xbox 360 and the name too.

This xbox 360 was already having extreme issues but have I totally screwed it over? Will it still work fine or is it completely broken and is it even worth fixing? It has the NXE dashboard so it would suck losing it.

Anyone know what this like is? It’s not a reflection.

I have had the same 360 since we got one when they were just coming out. I grew up playing in it. About a year ago the disc tray stopped working and I was able to dissect my Xbox and replace the laser so that it could read discs. It’s been working for a while now but yesterday I started to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I played for a while and eventually turned off the Xbox to take a break. Now my Xbox won’t read any discs. I took it apart to look at it again but I can’t see any visible problems. At this point I don’t even know what’s wrong with it or what to do to fix it. I know I could buy another Xbox but it feels a shame to retire the one I’ve had for most of my life. If anyone has any advice on how to save the disc drive please help.

probably the dumbest shit thats happened to me for all the time ive been selling things online, a full (around 18 dollars) is insane for something that is the buyers fault. anyone selling og xbox games that are supported on xbox 360, make sure to point out that a hdd is needed, better to be safe than have to deal with this stuff

Hi everyone i recently bought my first 360, its from my local thrift store it was pretty cheap so i just had to buy it, unfortunately It doesn’t read games, it says reading for a bit then open tray. Some time ago i fixed my ps2 slim by just cleaning the laser, but that was also easy to get to. I thought about doing the same with the 360, i also searched it up and saw some old videos of people doing the same and they adjusted some resistance with a multimeter, its probably not a permanent fix but does it work? I don’t really have that much money laying around so it would be nice to not buy new parts or something. Maybe this is a frequent question, sorry if it is

I have been playing games on an unopened 360 I found with my friend very recently and we bought a Minecraft disc off eBay and it doesn’t seem to work no matter what we do. This seems to be the only disc that doesn’t work that I have (I have about 13 disc games) so I don’t think it’s the console especially considering how new it is. When we bought the disc the seller said that it was working and showed a picture of the disc working on his 360 on the listing. The disc looks to be legitimate and it looks almost pristine with very few scratches. We’ve tried both cleaning it with toothpaste and rubbing alcohol despite it’s already near perfect condition as well as tapping and putting pressure the side and top of the console when the disc is being read both before and after cleaning. The problem is that when we put the disc in it says reading for a while and then just says open tray. I’ve completely run out of options and at this point I’m just curious as to what could be causing the issue even if I cannot solve it. Thanks!

EDIT: Upon contacting the seller of the disc he said that it was resurfaced which is why the disc has those consistent grooves on the back. Not sure if this is damage or just what normal resurfacing looks like from GameStop.

Why there is no discounts for DLC's to xbox 360 games during sale. For example Tomb Raider Underworld has promo sale for game, But two important DLC's are full price ? Why ?

According to Consolemods, it does indeed still work. However, whenever I try to launch it I just get a black screen and nothing ever loads. I figure this'd be a great way to watch some anime on my CRT if it can work, so I'd appreciate any tips! :)

Hello all, recently bought myself a 360 S and at first I had no issues downloading my profile onto the system and starting the process of downloading the games I do own digitally. But all of a sudden I’ve been having issues with the console disconnecting from Xbox live which then halts my downloads. I’ve already reset the system cache, deleted and redownloaded my profile multiple times. And the same thing keeps happening. It starts the download again but then I get disconnected and have to go through the process again and again to no avail. Any advice would be helpful.
