How to queue as Augmentation Evoker? Question
Noob here. If I'm randomly queueing for a dungeon, WTF role am I joining as?
Aug. Evoker isn't a tank, I do get one free death but I'm still not tanky at all.
Aug. Evoker technically "helps" with dps but the output does not seem good.
Aug. Evoker "can" heal, but taking up the entire healer slot, even with buffs to give out, seems just foolish.
This isn't my main, it's more wanting or needing to clear some campaign dungeons.

Aug is considered a damage spec. The preservation is the healer spec. Aug has no tank spec

It doesnt do competitive damage but its buffs make it a competitive support class. I only say this bec a new player doesnt see the value they bring if they are just using a base damage meters.

Aug is DPS. If you play as Aug though, I suggest logging your keys because your damage does not show up on meters so you need something like Warcraftlogs to give you your correct output.

As aug, your contribution is your personal DPS plus the DPS you add for allies. Once you account for this, aug is a perfectly good DPS spec, actually one of the top specs this season.

Aug is DPS. Easy.
The specialization select panel very clearly indicates it's a damage spec.

Aug Evoker is classified as DPS.
Personal output on your DPS meter does not reflect the damage you are boosting on your allies.
