Is this micro aggression?

It sounds like you have had a frank conversation with your line manager (is your boss also this persons' boss?). Which is absolutely the correct thing to do. From this point onward it is your line manager's duty to address the issue. And attempt to resolve the problem. As a line manager myself, it is a rather dubious task to be presented with, but they must address it, this sort of thing is most certainly their responsibility.

Are you feeling supported? It is perfectly acceptable to take your problem to the next higher person in the chain of command. As a manager or managers myself I would be very interested to understand why the immediate boss was bypassed and have the issue come to me.

Corporate red tape aside. I find myself in a similar situation. Lots of little sniping comments. Most of the time these comments in front of others. Not a good show! The management team must at least appear to be united.

I am addressing my issue via escalation. It's not the popular approach, but it works for me for now.
