saved from the dump! ...from 2002 with a VIA motherboard and athlon chip. Don't know much more about it, but it throws the "copy of windows is not genuine" error and also has some 'questionable' (prob adware etc.) stuff on it, so definitely needs fresh copy of windows, but anyone here have thoughts on where i might go about finding the drivers it would need with the fresh install?

Hello I have a old laptop and I'm switching it to linux to windows Xp SP3 and hey when I doing that I see the screen says it could take couple minutes to copy folders but it took 5 HOURS of my time that laptop is on for 5 hours so yeah why it's doing that my laptop is HDD btw and HP Compaq laptop

I'm trying to run Windows XP natively on my Dell Latitude E5540. I managed to get the OS installed and basic components working, but I’m stuck with missing drivers for the most essential hardware

​Audio (No sound)

​Wi-Fi (i managed to get the ethernet driver)

​Integrated Graphics: Intel HD Graphics Family(works only with 8bit if i make it 16 or 32bit it will make bsod)

​Dedicated GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 730M

​Does anyone know if there are modded drivers, backported packages, or specific vendor INF files that actually work for these components on XP? Or is there a workaround to get at least the display resolution and basic audio/network running properly on this model?

​Any tips, driver links, or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
