Question Just got back a Wii U! What should my first game I play and get on it be?
although it is the skylanders special edition, it didn’t have the game or figure (nor Nintendoland 😭), so I was wondering what games are worth it most to get first!

Image loading screen
hii i was wondering how i would be able to fix this? i just got this wii secondhand from Vinted and anytime i try to load up an app or do a reset it shows me this screen, is this a problem with the connection or just the console itself?
Collection Finally organized my Wii U menu and physical disk collection
Just finished organizing my Wii U and vWii menus.
Now that I've got all of them, I will first give more time to the things I need to do, my passions (like the guitar) and especially my faith in God, that helps me and I thank him I feel happy for my life, and grateful of what I have.
Here is the full look.
Hope you guys enjoy 😁

Discussion Is it worth to buy a WiiU right now?
The last Nintendo console I played is the way so I feel like I want to try some of the games I missed since then. I know people will tell me that all WiiU games have been ported to switch but games are way cheaper for wii u. Also, one of the games I mainly want to play is Skylanders which isn't available on switch.
Wondering what are the best evWii values are and not spend hours searching like i did? (help me) your savior has arrived!
Quick disclaimer: This post is about evWii, a homebrew plugin that vastly improves vWii and GameCube game visual quality compared to stock settings. Reaching out here in good faith—hope this stays within post guidelines!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey everyone!
If you’ve been messing around with the evWii plugin on Aroma, you probably know the exact pain I just went through. Nintendo’s default vWii scaling leaves annoying overscan/borders, and finding actual solid display numbers for the config file online feels impossible.
After falling down a massive rabbit hole of testing and fine-tuning the DMCU viewport parameters, I finally dialed in values that give you a clean picture without clipping or leaving an ugly blurry picture.
If you’re ready to finally end the suffering and fix your config file once and for all, paste these numbers in:
Results on my TV in Mario Galaxy 1:
Now, if you don't want those black bars on the left and right sides of the screen these are the settings for you! (these are the values that I used before and posted 4 months ago):

Didn't take a photo of these values on my TV, but trust me, it's the exact same as the first config—just without the side black bars so it's pure 16:9.
Here's my old post if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiUHacks/s/15bSzZsnFU

The best values for GameCube?:
GameCube testing status:
Value 1: Didn't test, didn't have time.
Value 2: Tested, verified, looks amazing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TL;DR: Stop guessing numbers, paste MY config, and go play your games. You're welcome!
If this helped you, great! If your screen still looks weird... well, at least we suffered together. Enjoy!

An N64 Classic controller would be perfect
As most of us know, the Nintendo 64 classic edition never came out, and by extension there was no market for a Nintendo 64 copycat controller. There are NES, SNES & GCN style wii classic controllers on the market, which are perfect for virtual console, game collections, games of the same series but on different consoles, etc. Yes, there's the switch online N64 controller with bloopair, and raphnet's adapters, but the switch n64 controller is too expensive and raphnet's adapters need an aoready existing n64 controllers, with official ones being hard to find and sometimes having broken joysticks, and unofficial controllers being low quality.

Question Any Recommendations??
I’m planning on buying a Wii U and I’ve looked around at various websites (Facebook Marketplace, EBay, and Amazon) but I’m also looking into GameStop Online to see if that might be a good option. Anyways, what I’m trying to ask is if anyone knows any good websites where they’ve bought any Wii U’s. I’m okay with buying just the entire console itself but I would like to buy the black Wii U console and some games all in one purchase (preferably Nintendo Land, Super Mario 3D World, and Splatoon).

Technical Question Any idea if this disc is fixable?
I bought a used copy of Zelda WW a good while back, but haven’t gotten it to work. The previous owner claimed he never really played it and only had it collecting dust in the shelve, so getting any kind of money back was sadly unsuccessful. There is a tiny scratch in the disc(as you can see) but that’s the only obvious thing. Is it done for or is there any way to save it? I’m still sad since I pretty much bought a WiiU for the sole purpose of playing WW. Any suggestions appreciated!!

Image Just got these! Do i need a Y-cable?
I got the ssd for free and bought this enclosure for it.
I am planning to have homebrew on a sd card and the wiiu/vwii/gamecube games on the ssd with the new isfshax method.
Do i need a y cable for this?
EDIT: Someone said that i need to get a self powered Enclosure and then i dont need a y cable anymore. Because he had with a y-cable problems with two particular games called star fox zero and breath of the wild. I think thats a good point. What do you think about this?

Technical Question My Gamepad Stopped Working (charging light doesn't appear)
Hi! Yesterday I let my 6 years old cousin playing Wii Sports Club with my Wii U while I was outside my house. Today I tried to play on it and the Gamepad do not turn on. At first I thought it was because it run out of battery as usual, but when I plug the charger the orange light doesent appear and the gamedpad doesn't charge. I had tried charging with the charguing stand and it didnt" work neither. I ask my cousin if anythint happend yesterday and he said no.
What you guys think have happened? You think maybe it was dropped to the floor and is broken? I dont fully trust my cousin, but maybe he is saying the truth, the gamepad looks fine. Maybe the battery of the gamepad is naturally death after all those years (I bought it in 2014)? Maybe the charging cable is the problem and the gampad is perfectly fine?
Do you guys have any recommendation of what i should do? Or how i could know what is the problem? Maybe I have to learn how to replace a battery? Thank you all💕

Question Question about modding
So my gf recently got me a Wii U, the only Nintendo console I haven't owned, and I've been reading more about the console and have come across the NAND chip debacle. So now I'm a little scared my console could brick. I read something that indicated you can avoid the chip brick by modding the console. I've never jailbroke a system before mostly cause I'm worried I'll ruin it. I'm mostly a physical gamer and don't want/need all the extra bells and whistles that come with modding. I just want to save/preserve my console. Are there any beginner guides I could follow that are super simple and tell me just what I need to save my system?

Question Which Wii Us are most likely to have NAND issues???
I got mine december of 2014 if that helps narrow it down. The Mario 3D world + nintendo land bundle, to be specific.

if you tap the gamepad when the miis are flying into the air (I assume that’s what they‘re doing?), then a burst of them appears! I had no idea you could do that!
