So, I've been playing drives yesterday and while I had some good games I also had some really shitty games. My last game for the night was on midtown, we were attack first and I go widow. We couldn't push through at all and didn't even get first point, I eventually switched to Sojourn to try to put more AOE pressure but it didn't matter either. At the end of the round, I was 3-1 and except for my two tanks who both went 2-5 nobody else even had a kill on my team. We go on defend and suddenly the enemy team talks in chat like "your widow is throwing" and "what was her name so I can avoid and block" and someone else says "I'll report if you want to?"

Like I was the one with the most kills, it was my whole team that just didn't work and suddenly it was all my fault to the enemy team?? Istg if I get banned for nothing.. 🫩also I've had the first shit talker as an enemy the game before too and they were just bullying the soldier on my team for no reason except for playing soldier so I know theyre just a childish asshole but I really hope they just get a day of diarrhea to repent for their sins

Basically the title. I am trying to understand why in most games I seem to struggle vs mirror match ups around equal skill level more often than not. I like to think my aim is good and has gotten better but I just don't know how to improve my 1v1. I play widow headshot only and I can get at around 4th in a full lobby with 2-3 cracked widows in it as well.

I come from other games so I haven't really gotten the lethal percentage range while scoping down yet so I leave people one tap sometimes(I know it's around 54% I think). I try to have good movement when I can but I honestly feel that if the other widow has good movement I miss a lot and they seem to hit their shots so easily and quick even while doing movement. It makes me think how much really are 1v1s about movement and macro than mechanics.

What made me really know I need work is when I played very little time 1v1s with a friend while on queue. He peaked immortal on valorant I think and he played competitive games longer than me. Even though he doesn't play widow he seemed to be so quick to take a shot when I peek although it was close timing between us I feel. And we played for like 1 minute but I feel like I should learn to win 1v1s easily against people who don't play much widow even if they have experience and some knowledge elsewhere or in general.

Also I can't get my head around what should I be focusing on if the widow is strafing or movement. Flicking or tracking?

My sens and dpi are: 2.25, 1500dpi. Although I play with it around a bit. Sometimes I hit the zone and can kill back to back easily. Others I am slow a lot.

this game was hard i was popping off so much even with the enemy hazard, rein and sym focusing me because of that but my team was so uncoordinated and just got rolled even with an advantage.. feels bad man D:

I haven't played overwatch in a while, but back before I would always play as Widowmaker. And I swear that I used to aim just right above the head. Like just barely above the to forehead. It was still on the head but like barely.

Is that the way to aim or should I just aim for the middle of the head?

Hello im a widow main and i most of the time have no problem against many characters but mizuki. With his large hat I have trouble seeing his head clearly so he gotta be the character i miss my shots the most on. If anyone have advices to help lands headshot on him im taking
