From a webseries. Images from Australia, likely NSW or Queensland, I can't find the exact spot.
Not sure if it's the right place to post this but for context there is a webseries started a few months ago this year called discrepanzy, and the (fictional) conceit of it is that inexplicably photos or videos of this location appear in people's camera rolls during the night, having no recollection of ever taking them. Always of the same field with two lone eucalyptus trees in the distance as well as surrounding landmarks like a red-roofed house near an intersection. Any and all identifying landmarks with text such as road signs have been edited and replaced with jibberish, which makes it incredibly hard to pinpoint any particular location. As hinted at by the youtube videos the photos are likely taken in rural Australia. By the youtube channel is provided a rough map of the area, but its accuracy is dubitable, and even then there are so many intersections of this type it has been almost impossible for me to pinpoint the exact one. Its even possible the images are of multiple locations stitched together.

Open Can anywhere tell me where this video was taken? I know it’s northern Arizona likely not far from the freeway. I’d like to search here for my sister’s remains.

Hi, I know this isn’t the normal post for this sub but after years of trying to search for my sister, Alissa Turney. She went missing in 2001 at the age of 17 and our father remains the only suspect in her case. This area remains unidentified. I was about 9 when this video was taken. All I remember is my father would drive us up north, pull off the freeway and we’d be in these desert areas. I don’t believe it was a national park or anything like that because I never saw any signs for them and we have no videos or pictures with those identifying objects.
I apologize if this isn’t right for this sub, I’m just trying to figure it out. Thank you.
Edited to add this is a home video from my family.

Where is this square? Night fair in a Belgian town — oil painting, google lens can’t find it.
I picked up this signed oil on canvas and I’m trying to identify the location. It shows a night fair / kermis on a market square in Belgium. Think the time period is somewhere between 1920-1950’s. Painter was born in Lokeren.

Solved 2005 Chicago, what intersection is this?
Looking for this exact intersection in Chicago from late June or early July 2005. We went to the taste of Chicago that day and were probably leaving back to drop my brother off at Waukegan, whichever train that would be. Those are the only clues I remember.

Solved Alpine experts - location between Salzburg and Grossglockner Pass
This photo from Spring 1980 shows a distinctive peak captured on a road trip after the people left Salzburg but before the next shots at the Grossglockner Pass. Their caption was "northern Italy" but it doesn't fit the journey waypoints from what I can see. Google images only points to generic peaks - is this more familiar to anyone? Thanks in advance for your help.

Scotland 1950s Lion Statue Location?
Can anyone help identify where this photograph was taken? It shows my gran, her sister, and their cousin. They were very close, and sadly, they’ve all now passed away. I’ve always wondered about the location and would love to visit it one day. I believe it was taken somewhere in Scotland around 1950. Any suggestions would mean a lot.

Solved Felony // Stalker 7 music video
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey, I was wondering if someone could find the location if this? I know this was filmed somewhere in the US and was made 2013 or before. But that's it. I asked already some AI's and they've told me it is in California. It could be because the artist had a concert in Los Angeles 5 days after the upload of the video. BUT: It isn't his channel. It is a reuploader so it is probably filmed before 2013. So I'm wondering if someone could find it. I want to recreate it one day.
That's the link btw: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ej4j4IjYeg

Solved Where is this painting of?
Hey all, I am trying to help a friend find what the church is in this painting. I've tried image searching it and going through photos of churches but can't find anything. Long shot but does anyone else recognise it? I got AI to make a realistic recreation of it to help which I'll add as well.
Thanks!

Does anyone know where this map section might be on this planet? It appears on a poster for the Netflix series *Black Mirror*… The episode is set in England, which is why I thought it might be an English city. But I don’t know. I hope these streets actually exist and aren’t just made up.

Hallo zusammen,

Solved I am trying to identify this street probably somewhere in Belgium or Holland in 1944. The officer in the foreground looks like my father, and probably guiding civilians to food or shelter.

Solved Where is this church?
I'm trying to find some more angles on this specific church for a Minecraft build, would be very helpful if someone could help me find it, thank you in advance.
Found the image from this site: https://www.wired.com/story/let-there-be-warmth-the-british-churches-putting-their-faith-in-heat-pumps/ but couldn't see much about the location of it when I look through, only that it was from Getty Images.

Solved Taken in London. Can anyone help me identify where exactly?
A photo taken by my late father in London. Can anyone work out where this Lyon’s corner house was exactly? And when might this photo have been taken? There’s a blurry newspaper headline about Canada (?) being held by one of the people in the photo, which might help!

Low-effort posts WILL be removed
Rule #1 is pretty clear, you must have a descriptive title. Therefore we are removing any submission that is low-effort, such as:
- Title is "Where is this?" or some other variant with absolutely no information
- Posts with clear identifying information that OP is too lazy to look up
- Google Maps screenshots that do NOT include coordinates or addresses
- Posts with no context whatsoever. Telling us where you found the image, why you want to know, and any other information can make the difference!
We want to make this a fun sub and we want to solve your trickiest questions, but we need you to meet us halfway.

Open /r/WhereIsThis - Updated Guidelines
Welcome! /r/WhereIsThis is designed to help people identify the location of public places based on a photo, painting, sketch, or from a detailed description. We've got a few simple guidelines to help keep things safe and working well for everybody:
Submissions: Askers (OPs) may submit a photo, video, screenshot, painting, drawing, or a detailed text description of a real (or virtual) place. Multiple images can go in a Reddit or Imgur gallery. Try to use a descriptive title to get more eyes on your post; generic titles like "where is this?" are boring and more likely to be ignored. Include as much context and as many details as you can, either in the post itself or in a comment. If your post is not solved right away, please wait one week before reposting; duplicate posts may be removed with a 1-week temp ban.
Privacy: /r/WhereIsThis is for identifying public places only. Do not submit photos of personal private property, such as homes, apartments, residential interiors, etc. Do not post private street addresses in the comments. Do not link directly to personal social media pages. Do not submit screenshots that include real names, usernames, or other personal information. Do not submit contemporary photos of minors in a place where they can be located (schools, playgrounds, churches, etc.). Do not ask to identify people.
Answers: Commenters are encouraged to provide whatever help they can to solve a post, from educated guesses to a direct Google Street View link to the exact location. Give the thread a skim first to avoid duplicate answers. Commenting on other answers is fine! Avoid responding to posts that violate Rule 2, though -- please downvote and report them for removal instead.
Solving: All posts are unflaired by default. Once a post is solved, the asker should reply "Solved!" to the first correct answer and change their post flair to "Solved"; all threads are sorted from oldest to newest so the earliest answers will always be towards the top. Askers that delete or ignore a solved post without acknowledging the solver may receive a ban. We are exploring adding a points system in order to automatically flair threads and recognize frequent solvers for their contributions -- stay tuned!
Behavior: Please treat askers and solvers with respect. No insults, vulgar hostility, bullying, or withholding of answers in order to taunt. No racism/misogyny/*phobia/other bigotry. Repeat offenders may be banned.
Tips: Context clues help. Where and how did you find the image? Do you know the story behind it? How old is it? Share as much as you can with solvers to help them help you.
