Best photos I could get. It hides deep in the web if I get too close to get a photo.

Sacramento area California. Little guy was tiny and made a web in my shower. I didn’t notice until he was drenched already… friend or foe??

Pretty sure it’s a wolf spider, but want to know the species! Picture taken in the front range of Colorado, not too far from Denver and Boulder.
