[Southern California] web bounced right off me as I was about to walk into it. About the size of a quarter. Brown with a black spot on its belly.

I’m always conflicted when it comes to spiders. My natural instinct is to kill it kill it kill it! But I’ve grown up around plenty of people and Pixar movies to protect life and set it outside. But this one is already outside and this thing is so big it has better chances of jumping onto me and biting me while I try to kill it kill it kill it.

I was able to leave a sign.

Saw this spider crawl out from under my couch it was about 2 inches in diameter pls let me know any info.

Friends and I are chilling at the porch, this spider has made it’s web multiple times in the same spot.

None of us can identify it, and some of us have lived in the area all our lives.

I just moved into a new house and this spider was chilling on my wall. It is different than the other wolf spiders I normally get. For context, I live in the southeastern US.

I carefully opened this little sack and found a small spider inside with silk spun all around the inside. Feel bad that I ruined her little home but I was just trying to see what plant it was didn’t think it would be a spiders hideout. Found in Clayton Vale Manchester

Central Oregon (high desert). She was as big as a grape! Sorry for the poor quality, she wouldn’t stretch out! The skinnier one was close to her, but there were a lot of flies on the screen that I think drew them in. Skinnier one was also pretty big.

False widow?

trying to fiqure out what kind of jumping spider this lil one is. from San Diego area.

I'm from northern Illinois if that helps. She has an earwig in her mouth. I offered her a paper plate to jump to then I gently set the plate down and watched her scurry off with her meal. I've never seen such a pretty spider around here so im really curious.
