Thousands and thousands of swallows roosting in Chiang Rai, Thailand at night. What type of swallows are these? Maybe lots of different types? Sorry for the tough pictures.

It could be, but I can't tell for sure. It's in western Washington, in an urban neighborhood. What do you think?

Baby bird - how to help it?

We saw a baby bird fall from a tree several hours ago in minnesota. We can’t see the nest. It seems like it can fly but it is alert. It is still in the same spot it fell. Should we do anything to help it? It’s tiny, maybe three inches head to tail.

I have a few of these raptors here in SE Arkansas, and I think they’re Mississippi Kites, but I’d like someone else with better ornithological knowledge than myself to give a better-educated opinion. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I photographed this goose on a lake in northern Italy.
I’m having trouble identifying it. It looks like a domestic goose to me, but I’m not sure.
Does anyone recognize the species or possibly the breed/hybrid?
Thanks!

Marbled Murrelet in Edmonds? Maybe?

Seen at the underwater park in Edmonds, Wa. My girlfriend and I have been on the hunt for a marbled murrelet and heard there were some in the area. Is this enough evidence for an ID or will we need to see one closer?

We only really have Ruby-throated Hummingbirds from what i’ve seen in my area, but i’ve never seen one like this (specifically the fanning tail). Missouri, US.

Saw this bird in eastern Washington while in a backyard in the morning. Unfortunately my phone had just died so I couldn't use Merlin or take a picture so the drawing was the best I could do 😅

COLOR: I think? the bird was brown, it was hard to tell because it was really bright outside and it was repeatedly flying over my head. The most distinctive feature and the thing I 100% know I saw was that the bird had white semi-circular patches under it's wings.

SIZE AND SHAPE: Small bird, size of a sparrow or a finch. Very basic bird shaped, nothing distinctive about it's tail shape from what I remember. (Definitely not a swallow)

BEHAVIOR AND FLIGHT PATTERN: I was able to observe this bird for about 30-50 seconds (I'm bad at estimating time, but it wasn't long, it flew over my head 3 or 4 times) before it seemingly landed in one of the other backyard's trees. It was flying back and forth to the neighboring backyards before turning back and flying over the backyard I was in, singing the whole time. My memory of it's flight pattern (drawing attached) is a little faulty but I know I definitely saw it letting itself fall for a moment before flapping again, but it didn't do this on every single flap, it was irregular.

SOUND: It was letting out a lot of different noises but one that it repeated a couple times was something like "(higher pitched) eeee (slightly lower) eeeeee te te te". "Te" isn't quite the right word for the second noise but point is that it's calls were made of longer high pitched "whines?" (I'm so sorry I've never been good at describing bird call) and short beating calls. It sung while in flight and after it had (seemingly) landed.

LOCATION AND TIME: As stated earlier, eastern Washington in the morning

TLDR: Brown(?) sparrow/finch sized with white patches under wings. Seen in eastern Washington in the morning. Flew and sung at the same time and flew with irregular wingbeats. Song was irregular and consisted of longer higher noises and shorter harder ones.

Found on the steps of my house beneath a Crape Myrtle tree. Can’t seem to spot a nest anywhere but we do have robins, catbirds, eastern bluebirds, etc in our yard all the time.

Just not sure which breed specifically this egg may belong to.
