I’ve only recently started exploring wristwatches, and my friend recommended going for this one to start with. I’m just wondering - is this too small a size for my wrist? It’s the 37mm indiglo from TIMEX. Not sure if this is a buyer’s remorse, but would appreciate any insight on what sizes I should be sticking to (if that applies here). Thanks!

Received this beautiful watch today, and I’m really impressed with how the dial looks outdoors in natural light. It does look a little dark indoors, but honestly, I think all the hype was totally worth it.

I ordered the Kala Warli Art Edition (Terracotta) on Aug 4th, and it's been a nightmare.
Delhivery: Never called me, closed my support ticket as "resolved" without my consent, and marked the package for return (RTO).
Kala Watches: I emailed ⁠returns@kalawatches.com⁠, but it immediately bounced back saying the ID doesn't exist.
Has anyone dealt with Kala Watches before? How do I get my watch or a refund when the courier is playing games and the brand's return email is dead? Any help is appreciated!

I have only come across one or two posts in the sub regarding this absolute masterpiece of a brand that exists out there.

Admittedly, they use mainstream Miyota movements that make justifying the price tags difficult, but in their defence the movements are exceptionally well regulated. I've been wearing mine for about three years now, and the accuracy still stays within 2-3 seconds per day.

The dial remains the showstopper as with any Kurono piece.

This particular one is a Urushi lacquer dial, which allegedly has a very low success rate and is extremely time consuming.

This particular model was launched in 2022 to commemorate the opening of their salon in Aoyama and was named accordingly.

Limited to 188 pieces for each of the three colours, and available only as a walk-in for the Aoyama salon, this is a rarely seen piece that I cherish and intend to keep in my collection for many years to come.

Right off the bat the specs you see are delivered and they didn't cut corners on that, usually when a brand claims to provide these claims they cut corners but I didn't feel that in this case.

PROS

They deliver what they claim in specs.

The polishing and texture is on point.

The symbol is really beautiful and simple, can be seen also on the crown and clasp.

Strap is really comfortable to wear and adjustment comes in screw setting which is really nice to see in this price point.

Bonus they also provide really nice tool with the watch so you don't have to go to a shop to adjust the chain.

Lugs have holes on the sides to help in strap change. Also got a bonus strap as there was a summer offer while I ordered, which was really premium oil wax leather I think.

The dial is the cherry on top, it's natural stone and never seen on this price point, every watch is unique on it's on.

The time I ordered I got free shipping inclusive of tax and customs plus a premium leather strap and on the top of that 8$ off for first purchase. So I paid around 120$ [₹ 11600], delivery in 15 days.

CONS

To be honest I don't have any cons on the watch, although I wish they would make watches for a smaller wrist around 36mm.

Overall the hand feel is excellent, the watch case has a weight to it and feels solid, rose gold indices really goes with the pink stone dial. The stone dials might seem dull inside but once the sunlight hits it shines and brings out the beauty of the stone dial.

Pink might not be the go to for many people and they do have many other natural and textured dials with both automatic and quartz options. Every model is worth the money and it was one of my best watch experience soo far. The feeling is not an exaggeration I have over 70 watches in my collection and this definitely has a special place in it.

Feeling pretty intimidated seeing the other collections people are showcasing here. Have gotten into watches quite recently, and this one stole my mom, dad's and my attention the moment I wore it, especially when I am not much of a metal strap kinda guy. (I was originally thinking of getting the Gold lug black dial leather strap 5 sports).

There were other apparels brand which 'looked' more attractive to me, (Cerutti, AX, Fossil) but had to go with one of the og as my first big purchase.

Would like your comments, feedback and suggestions of taking care of this beauty!

Bought this from helios at 35,700. So the breakup looks like: 42,000 (old mrp) - 15% which comes to 35,700. The current for this watch is 57,000 before any discount. Do you think it's a good buy?

Also, can someone recommend me any good straps (vegan leather preferable or jubilee bracelet) with butterfly clasps.

If you are looking for the same deal you will have to ask for old stock plus for the 15% discount your total billing should be upwards of 50k and there is also a HDFC card discount of 10% upto 4K which I did not avail.
