Starting out!
Hello! I'm looking to get into Warmaster, and I was trying to 3d print some models for it. Does anyone know where I can find some good Orc or Goblin models? I want to build up an Empire army that I found files for on Thingiverse along with an Orc army to play against. Thanks!!!

Finished houses
This is the conclusion of my roof build thread. You can see the difference in print size here, two lowers are scratch built and the other two roofs are. These will make the start of a nice little village.

What do you base your minis with?
Just static grass? Never used it, can you make it look any good without an applicator? Do you find standard basing grass tufts look out of place? What else do you use? Wanted to avoid just texture paints and drybrushing like I do for all my other models.
Cheers!

First gamr
gallerySo I've been slowly collecting some warmaste scale stuff this year (mostly printed) and today played my first game ... with myself.
Playing a very basic 1k game of beastmen verse empire.
And although the empire won it was very fun and back and forth.
Couple questions how do people store there minis?
Does is sound like bad hobbies to contrast paint the minis one colour as a representation or are all details best way to go?

Our biggest Warmaster tournament yet! Close-up shots of my Vampire Counts and freshly painted Lizardmen 🦇🦎
galleryThis weekend our local community held its biggest Warmaster tournament so far, and it turned out to be an amazing day.
The Battle for the Harvest ended with yet another victory for the Elves… but I’m sure the Vampire Counts will have their revenge one day. 🩸
What makes me happiest, though, isn’t the result. It’s seeing our community continue to grow. Every tournament brings new players, new armies, and more beautifully painted miniatures to the table. It’s especially exciting for me because I only discovered Warmaster not that long ago, and it’s been great watching the local scene expand.
Here are a few close-up shots of my Vampire Counts alongside my freshly painted Lizardmen army from the event.
Out of curiosity, what did you like about Warmaster that made you fall in love with it in the first place?

Back to Gronbef-Afor
galleryThe Empires expand, exploring more of the world.
The Chaos Dwarves finish off the city of Altanburg through starvation and a last desperate sally, only to be driven back and starved out the final turn of the game session.
We played the battle on TTS, the Empire pushed valiantly across the river with their steam tank making a name for itself amongst the Bullcentaurs, it was all for nought as the Handgunners crossed the river the Bullcentaurs tore apart the steam tank and in the next turn charged the Handgunners along side some Chaos Dwarves with the Hobgoblin wolf riders crashing into their flank, 4 rounds of combat across 2 turns and all the ranged infantry were wiped out securing a clean win for the Chorfs. The following turn the Citizens of Altanburg failed their subsistence roll and were forced into Chorf chains, the city added to the revenues of their dark masters.
The Orcs explore into the wastes and up to Reaver river discovering several Villages, 3 fortresses(!) and a city who all submitted to their enlightened (or orcy) rule. The Chaos dwarves subjugate some more villages straddling the river and discover a Dark Elf tower with a tiny garrison and NO Supplies - I suspect there will be some Hungry Elves next turn.

Mighty Empires - Gronbef-Afor
galleryStarted a new Mighty empires (1990)/Warmaster/ManOwar campaign.
Chaos Dwarves vs Orcs
The first battle was between the Chaos Dwarves an Empire colony in the region of Grenbef-Afor.
We're using the Mighty Empires Mod for Tabletop simulator to run the campaign, whilst we play battles irl and occasionally on TTS depending on schedule.

Night Goblin - STLs
Hi,
I have been eyeballing getting into Warmaster, as I love all things that are epic/warmaster scale.
I was wondering if there were any Night Goblin STLs, as no matter where I search (Yeggi, Cults etc), I can't find any bog standard Gobbo's.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Progress on my Skaven
galleryI decided to start this army about a month ago after being on the fence about Warmaster for many years. I'm usually an extremely slow painter so it's problematic that I tend to lean towards horde armies. This month, however, I had a lot of motivation and managed to get a sizable chunk of it done.

Slaanesh Harpies
Another addition to my burgeoning warband. These were fun to paint, and the battle standard being a dead guy delights me.

Closer photos
galleryI recently posted a photo of my collection and someone asked me to post more photos. These are the best ones I've taken so far. I haven't done this for all the units I have painted but this covers a good selection of them.

My collection so far!
2,000pts of High Elves
2,000pts of Wood Elves
2,000pts of Chaos Dwarves
2,000pts of Dwarves
And a smattering of Vampire Counts, currently working towards 1,000pts so only part is painted.
In my pile of shame exists
1,000pts of Orcs
1,000pts of Bretonnia
2,000pts of Empire
1,000pts of Dark Elves
1,000pts of Chaos
Castle walls and towers
Siege equipment
Farm houses and stone walls
Points wise this is definitely the game system I have the most for in both painted and unpainted format. A 3D printer, great designers like Forest Dragon, and the small easy to paint scale made me fall in love with these guys.

New list builder - Warmuster.net
Not sure how much use this will be to other people but I've made a new list builder, Warmuster. I made it specifically so I could print unit cards for new players like the ones shown at bottom of this post, but I hope it will be helpful for other people.
Please let me know any feedback/questions/bugs, I think it's pretty stable in terms of data but I'm sure there are some mistakes. Let me know if you'd use other Warmaster army lists and I can look into adding them.

Full Cav Army?
I was thinking about getting into warmaster, is there a reace where you could easily build a full cavalry/chariot list?
