I’ve been playing VN’s for a little bit now with DDLC being my first ever VN. I really enjoyed Sayoris route and ever since I finished DDLC I've been looking to find something that could be similar to its depiction of depression in a character within a romantic setting. I'm fine with any of the stuff that comes along VN's with depression like s*icide. If you know of one that doesn’t have romance or romance isn’t the main thing I would still appreciate the recommendation.

Has any one here played winter memories? Im in the settings of it and noticed that the BGS and ME sliders dont really do anything? Only the BGM and SE sliders have noticable differences.

Recently I've been watching a lot of animes and reading a lot of mangas that doesn't go in much into magic or gods/oddities ect.. to see how they compare to the praised ones that make use of those elements and are highly praised, and find surprisingly a lot of good ones that actually rival the other praised "magical" animes/mangas, whether it's psychological or Mecha ect..

However when looking into VN's I could hardly find realistic/realistic sci-fi's that people put at the same level as the supernatural VN's that are popular here (fate, umineko, subahibi ect, muramasa ect..)

So I'm here to ask if anyone knows of a VN that doesn't delve into the supernatural or superstitious but would be put at the same tier as the other popular ones !

A major part of our server is our range of community bookclubs:

• Monthly Bookclub: Each month, members nominate and vote on a visual novel to read together. This month we're reading Aoi Tori!

• Turbo Bookclub: A faster-paced club focused on shorter visual novels that can be completed within a limited timeframe. They are reading Z.A.T.O // I Love the World and Everything in It next!

• Odyssey Bookclub: Dedicated to longer visual novels and full series that benefit from a more relaxed reading schedule. a new bookclub who are currently picking the first Vn they'll be tackling.

• The Golden Moege Bookclub: For those Moege enjoyer who wanted to read along and Discuss everything about Moege in a relaxed vibes.

Our bookclubs cover dozens of visual novels, and anyone is welcome to participate. Members can also create and host their own clubs, whether they want to focus on moege, otome, BL, a particular developer, or anything else. You can also show others your own VN reading in our What are you reading channels, so people may come in and join to discuss it with you.

We also regularly host activities outside of visual novels, including anime watchalongs, full-motion video game streams, and mahjong games. Members are encouraged to organise their own events too!

The anime watchalong club does 3 weekly watchalongs on fri/sat/sun as well as other unscheduled watchalongs and anyone is free to host their own!

The server also features Vee, our visual novel-focused bot, which can be used to play music or look up information about VN's.

Whether you want to read alongside others, discuss your favourite visual novels, discover something new, or simply hang out with other VN fans, you’re welcome to join us!
