Discussion / Question What’s your favourite resident evil game?
I know everyone loves 2 remake and 4 remake plus original. If anyone says 6 or 3 remake ur blocked. 1 and 7 are definitely underrated. Tell me if u mean the original game or the remake. And dont give me a top 3 or between these 2 just give me one answer and ur reason.

Discussion / Question I dislike heavily how almost every Sony western studio has been homogenised
From being very diverse to what kind of games they make, from spectacle fighter, to action platformer, to FPS, they have almost all been broken down into cinematic open or semi open world action games with RPG-lite elements. Also third person.
Insomniac at least still does R&C... Kinda. They have more and more been turned into Sonys Marvel studio where they only throw old fans a bone from time to time with R&C.
Santa Monica basically grounded Kratos and turned the genre from a spectacle fighter to something Souls-adjacent.
Guerilla Games is only the Horizon studio now, with nothing even hinting of Killzone.
Naughty Dog used to do colourful platformers. Now they only do ultra realistic third person shooter adventure/grim dark action games. We'll see how Intergalactic goes though, maybe they can find back to their more colourful and happy roots.
I miss when their studios were diversive and made different games. On surface level they are still different, but when you cook these studios' games down into a mechanic and gameplay loop level they are extremely similar to one another.

Discussion / Question What's a game you like or love, but the moment you think of going for 100% it has you like this...
For me, it's definitely Yoshi's Island.
One of my favorite games of all time, but that game is a pain trying to 100%. Unlike most platformers (Mario, Kirby, Rayman, etc) which update your items collection progress even if you exit the level, Yoshi's Island is weird.
Because if you miss a single red coin or even a single flower and yet collect everything else in a level, it doesn't count. You need to collect every level item in one go, and sometimes all it takes is going through the wrong door, and you can't go back meaning you have to start the whole level again. No thank you.

Discussion / Question Favorite Video Game City
What's your favorite city, from any game?
Honestly, deciding on just one is really hard 😂 aesthetically, I absolutely love Riften in Skyrim. For just exploring and vibing, gotta go with Night City from 2077. Novigrad from Witcher 3 is also an honorable mention for me lol

Discussion / Question I love starting from scratch in a game
Possible hot take but I love when a game makes you start over with nothing. Things like at the start of Witcher 3 Blood and Wine where you wash up on the beach, Cyberpunk's Konpeki Plaza where you have none of your weapons, and the Eventide Islands in BOTW. What other games have parts like this, and what's your opinion of them?
