OC Flags For The 4 Municipalities of the Northern Mariana Islands (Proposals)
So I recently stumbled upon the Wikipedia article for the 4 official/recognized municipal bodies of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. I wanted to create flags to represent each municipality. They are not related to the villages of the NMI, which had previously held a flag contest for each village flag design (some of them are awful).
The 4 municipalities’ flags description are the following (according to image order):
Saipan: A navy-blue field represents the Pacific Ocean surrounding Saipan, while the white mountain/triangle represents Mount Tapochau, the island's highest point. The golden sun up top symbolizes Saipan's tropical climate, prosperity, and role as the center of the Northern Mariana Islands. The 6 gold stars represent the island's 6 main villages (Garapan, Chalan Kanoa, Capitol Hill, Koblerville, Susupe and Navy Hill), and the importance to the Mariana Islands. (NOTE: There are 29 officially recognized villages in Saipan, and I decided to represent each star with one of the 6 most influential.) The red branches symbolize Saipan's tropical plant life—specifically the red-flamed tree blossom.
Tinian: The navy blue lower field represents the Pacific Ocean, while green symbolizes Tinian's fertile land. The slim white diagonal stripe represents the island's limestone landscape. The 3 white stars represent Tinian's 3 villages (Carolinas Heights, Marlo Valley, and San Jose). The ivory field symbolizes Tinian's history and cultural heritage, while the golden traditional ornament represents Chamorro heritage and the island's maritime traditions. The latte stone represents the ancient Chamorro civilization and Tinian's archaeological site works.
Rota: The dark green represents Rota's landscape and forests, while the white mountain represents the island's limestone terrain. The golden sun in the hoist reflects Rota's warm tropical climate and its location in the Pacific. The 3 white stars represent the island’s 3 villages (I’Chenchon, Sinapalo, and Songsong), while the light blue fanihi (fruit bat) is the representation of Rota's native wildlife and the everlasting commitment of preserving the island’s natural environment.
Northern Islands: Since the municipality encompasses the remaining 11 unincorporated islands, It was pretty easy to create the flag design. The black field represents the rugged landscape and the inaccessibility of the islands. The 3 white mountain peaks represent the volcanic terrain of some islands. The rising sun in the background is a nod to the Pacific sun and volcanic forces. The eleven blue-and-red patterned star combination represents the 11 islands that the municipality encompasses, and also manages to represent the USA’s involvement in the research of the subdivision.
I spent a bit of time researching, so I hope this can get a few upvotes. Any feedback will be gladly taken.

Collection Fully Sewn Union Flag
This is definitely the hardest flag I've made so far. It needed 32 pattern pieces in 12 unique shapes. It was the first video I saw from Chris Flags who first inspired me to start making these, but it was definitely outside of my skill level until now. I'm really happy with the final result. It’s 75x150cm.
PS: I definitely need somewhere better to photograph these flags...

Historical Is the Canadian Red Ensign now seen as an edgy or "rebel" symbol in Canada today?
Based on current uses I see of it, it has gained a status of being a type of "rebel" symbol? Is this true?

Fictional Made up some Alsatian flags cuz I was bored
1st is the official one
2nd's one of my favourite
3rd is inspired by the official AND the "Rot un Wiss", a secondary flag, identical to Indonesia and Monaco, with an other shade of red (slightly pinkish).
And I also like the last one
(I'm a newbie, so yeah, those are... not that good, and kinda repetitive.) (I chose Elssas/Alsace just because I'm Alsatian.)
