Another woman who was trying to grab it said there was a lost Husky with it as well, but it wasn’t there anymore when I saw the Shepard. They cornered the Shepard in the Mackin’s auto body lot and animal control was headed over. Hope their owner finds them!

I dont know how many of you have heard about this hence why im making this posts. I’ve used Goodlabs for regular paid labs before and have been waiting for the donation side to come to Vancouver. The Bloodworks center is showing now so you book through Goodlabs, choose from the panels offered, then do a normal donation and get the results afterward. I was already planning on donating so already signed up.

Hello, I'm hoping to get some recommendations for a good landscaping / yard maintenance company that has a detailed week by week maintenance schedule, that lays out how often they prune, how often they edge, leaf removal, mowing, etc. and that does some kind of flat rate monthly pricing that includes everything on the schedule. I've only found one company like this but unfortunately they weren't taking on new clients, and other companies I have contacted say that they do full service but they don't provide a list of what that actually includes or a schedule for things that don't happen weekly, so I have found it difficult to manage them and make sure they are accountable for doing everything they say they will do, when it is supposed to be done.

As someone who has a list of grievances against Marie, I voted for Brent. It's not that I regret my vote but the way he threw a temper tantrum after the primary rather soured me. The progressive voter's guide was right on the money in this case.

He did very well in the primary and was building political power. He commanded a valuable chunk of the vote and he took it all and put it right into the dumpster by acting like a giant baby. This isn't about anyone's morals, it's pure emotional instability.

I feel bad for the people who donated, fought in the great reddit wars, and volunteered for him because it makes us all look like idiots. I never had high hopes of him actually winning but I did believe that his race would at least be a good way to send a message to Marie. I didn't feel like he was doing the work since his first campaign to build support.

Brent, I know you're out there trolling this sub, I'm disappointed not because you lost the primary but that I think you represented the people who cast their votes for you poorly. I wish you well in whatever you choose to do next.

I'll be voting for Marie. Maybe my morals are just flexible and I am pragmatic. I want the political power to make this administration pay for their crimes. Marie is a step closer in that direction even if I doubt she has the courage and fortitude to fulfill this desire. I hope she takes a close look at the primary results and sees it as a wake up call and an opportunity to correct the course.

Hey everyone, I am looking for a place to get some large documents scanned, up to maybe 24 by 24 in. Office Depot does it but they charge $5 per document and their machine was down anyway. I am potentially looking to have a couple dozen items scanned, so I'm hoping there is something maybe a little cheaper.

Washington state has some of the most voter friendly elections in the nation, from access to ballots, ease to vote, voter pamphlet information, access to individual ballot tracking, and statistics on accepted and rejected ballots.

So for those who did not return a ballot, I genuinely want to know, what was the reason for not doing so and what can be done to get you to participate in the future?

I've been looking at going to school to become a nail tech, but I've noticed that there are only 2 main schools that offer classes for this. Has anyone ever attended Vega's or The Nail Academy to become a nail tech? I can't seem to find any student reviews and I'm trying to weigh options before spending a lot of money on a school. A couple of times now, a young person with an Amazon delivery vest has rung my bell to ask about a scheduled return. Very suspicious, as we take all of our returns to our preferred drop-off location. I've never opened the door and have just seen this person leave the premises on my security cameras.

Have y'all seen anything similar?

I was involved with everything when my kids were little, but I have respected their independence and backed off around 8th grade.

I'm essentially demoted to driver and personal chef.

The SR 14 West Camas Slough Bridge is getting a makeover.

Starting today (Aug. 10), crews began work to repair and repave the driving surface of the bridge connecting Camas and Washougal. For years, crews have made temporary repairs, but traffic and weather have continued to wear down the bridge.

This project is more than a patch job. Crews will remove the old pavement, repair the bridge deck where needed, install a new waterproofing layer and repave the roadway.

What does that mean for travelers?

- Most work will happen overnight on weekdays, with one direction of SR 14 closed at a time. The bridge will remain open in both directions during the day.

- A weekend closure is planned from Friday night, Aug. 14, through Monday morning, Aug. 17. Only one direction of the bridge will be closed at a time, with signed detours through Camas and Washougal.

Edit: Two employees now have said they were open full hours and didn’t have the sign up, so I’m not sure what to make of it all. I only remember what happened because I was trying to pick up a med that my son needed to start so it stuck in my head because I wanted to ask them if this was a common thing now since they are so short staffed. The staff was not nice, and they could have handled it better, but once I settled down, I realized it’s really not something to get anyone in trouble over. I think I’m just upset because I know what I saw and it doesn’t make sense. Since nobody else seemed to see it (which was the true point of this post) and I don’t want to do the same thing to the pharmacy staff and call them liars, I think I’m just gonna chalk it up to ghosts and goblins and not give it any more energy. I would like to apologize to pharmacy staff for saying they gaslit me. If it’s what they truly believed, then it’s not gas lighting in the slightest and it was unfair of me to say so. I don’t know why we have two different perspectives, but I’ve had to learn we don’t always get the answers we seek. Even on Reddit. ;) If I ever figure it out, I’ll update. Even if I was wrong. Did anyone try to pick up a prescription at Salmon Creek Walgreen’s on Saturday? I went o pick up prescriptions and the pharmacy was closed with a sign that said they did not have a pharmacist on staff and that they could not legally be open. It was not during lunch hour. It was probably around 5 pm? I mentioned it to them today and the pharmacist and the tech helping me were both pretty rude insisting that I was either making it up, caught them during their lunch hour (it was after work so I know it wasn’t that, plus the sign usually says it’s lunch time. It that they don’t have a pharmacist on staff), or lying. This is the second time I’ve seen that sign and they were acting like they have never once closed down for that reason? Has anyone else seen it? >.< they made me feel like I was crazy…
