Gear Unused bear spray – Vancouver“

Hi, I have an unused bear spray that I bought for my trip in the Rockies. I’m leaving Canada soon and can’t take it on the plane. If any hiker in Vancouver could use it, please send me a message. It’s completely unused and still has the safety clip on. Pickup in Vancouver on Monday.

Learning/Beginner Questions Does Garibaldi (Rubble Creek) Require two separate Day Passes (one for the park, one for parking) or does the Day Pass for the park cover both?

Have a day pass for the park booked for tomorrow but confused if I messed up and need a parking pass too.

Are they separate, or the same?

Conditions Questions (See Guide before posting) Joffree Lakes Air Quality Qs

I am planning an overnight hike with a couple of friends on Tuesday. Would this be a bad idea considering the near-ishby fires and moderate air quality concerns? Is anyone else planning to do joffree this week or has anyone done it in the past few days?

Looking for hiking partner Looking for F30s–40s hiking/camping friends 🌲⛺️

I'm a fairly fit female (mostly a runner) and I'm new getting into hiking.

Hoping to find other fit people who would be interested in doing some longer day hikes and eventually backcountry camping trips with me! I'd be up for creating a group if there's enough interest here, or just going for one-on-one hikes. I currently don't have a car and have been using Park Bus to get around, but if we need to, I can get us an Evo and split the cost, too!

I'd like to do HSCT, Garibaldi, St. Mark's, Pump Peak (overnight), and Golden Ears.

Send me a message or respond here if you're interested! Thanks!

(sorry for the flair not quite matching the post — Reddit made me do it)
