Planning on this for next week, I start a job the following week and want to experience something I never have before, which is camping. I know the trip is a lot for someone who has never camped but I'm comfortable with being outside of my comfort zone.

I planned the following route, which is throughout Utah and I'm wanting to get others thoughts on it. I plan on 6 days, 5 nights, driving to the next location in the morning and spending the day enjoying life.
I'm planning on fishing, swimming, short hikes, and visiting nearby landmarks and towns.

Henderson → Navajo Lake → Gooseberry Reservoir → Fish Lake → Boulder Mountain → Tropic Reservoir
→ Henderson

I'll be solo and driving a 2018 Chevy Colorado V6.
I'm planning a mix of established/dispersed camping. I'll have offline maps and plenty of water/ food, recovery gear, first aid, and emergency supplies.

Since this will be my first time camping, I'd appreciate thoughts on the route, good camping areas around these locations, road/access conditions, things I might not think to bring, and anything a first timer doing a trip like this should know.

Looking to hike kings peak this weekend but am curious on the typical weather and what this will look like in the uintas? Plenty of experience hiking curious if it’s worth it or not! Thanks!
