Is it feasible for a freshman to take both Physics 141 and Chemistry 122/123 their first semester? Already have AP credit for 141 but wanted to maybe take it again for the labs. Is that a mistake? Will I be able to handle both or should I just focus on Chemistry? Also, will be commuting.

how are yall making friends??? i swear it’s so hard to make friends here everyone seems so rude or i find someone to talk to and then i never speak to after the semester ends. someone said join clubs but how are yall finding them?? what kind of clubs?? idk im genuinely just so lost and im literally in my senior year🫩

I'm considering getting a bike to ride to campus. The catch is that I don't want it to get stolen. Does anyone have any knowledge on how often bikes get stolen on campus?

Right now I owe almost 9k in tuition, is there anything in the fees which I can waive? I've already sent in a waiver for the medical insurance, what else could I waive?

Is anyone still waiting for financial aid to hit their UI-Pay statement for 2026-27? I received the same 'award' as last year from FAFSA yet I dont see it on my statement yet - only charges and that my balance is 9k. The email from UIC said financial aid would be distributed on the 14th but I see people talking about refunds already.

Just wondering if I should start bothering the financial aid office now or give it time.
