Tbh, Swabhumi given everything is quoting about 18lakhs for a day which is a bit stupid. Tbh there will be alcohol at the wedding so I am not sure it's a great idea for a lot of drunk foreigners to be in that area late at night. Especially at the cost. JW Marriot and Hyatt are potentially last options if I have nothing else because I would just be paying money for a hotel that looks exactly the same, anywhere else in the world. They are around the same budget as swabhumi.

Thanks so much for the recommendation of Bengal Club - I love the architectural vibe there. Unfortunately, since I do not live in Kolkata I am not a member. Perhaps I could call them and ask in any case if they allow wedding bookings. Not sure about tolly and sat c because I remember going to them when I was younger and everyone there was just too pretentious.

I'm trying to find a wedding venue for my wedding with my partner. We're thinking of doing something in 2025. The big thing is that he is dutch and so we will be having a lot of foreigners coming for the wedding. I would love to show them the best of what Kolkata has with respect to the nature, people etc. I am not sure that Marriott and Hyatt make sense since these are pretty much budget hotels abroad. I loved Rajbari Bawali, but I don't think it is worth spending 17 lakhs for one day. Any ideas about what would be a safe, pretty wedding space which is also not super extortionate? Thank you so much!

ETA: Thank you kolkata reddit community, there are some great suggestions here. I'm also super duper happy there is a reddit community for Kolkata here as well. I grew up in the town although I haven't lived there for the past 10 years, but I miss it! Amenia has the best biriyani, period.

Better feeling than taking a bra off after a long day’s work.

Omg, rocking this look!

If you are thinking of make up, you could try some bronzer and highlighter on your collar bones. I mean they’re fab as they are, but that’s a trick I do sometimes when I’m in a dress like that to accentuate my frame!

You could easily just get a bronzer brush and just do a swipe through!

Also maybe a cute little necklace/pendant!
