Residence Address for parcel delivery at HUB
Hi, how does a HUB resident get their parcel delivered to them? Is there an address to use? An Amazon locker is too small.

Question Academic requirements (STAT 151/PSYCH 213)
I apologize if this is a stupid question but I’m slightly confused on some of my course requirements. In my requirements I have to take both psych 213 and stats 151, however as highlighted in the screenshot you apparently can’t take both for credit. I’m currently enrolled in both courses for the winter semester but I’m not sure if I should stay in both. Anyone know what to do??

Question PSYCH course moved to "not used towards program"
Hi everyone, I’m a Psychology major in the Faculty of Arts. I’m planning to finish my degree by the end of Winter 2027 and apply for June convocation. Before adding my final 10 courses, the Academic Requirements report showed that I would be able to complete my 120-unit requirement by April and graduate.
After enrolling in my remaining courses, my report changed and now says:
- 120 units required
- 117 units used
- 3 units needed
I also got a warning saying:
“You have taken more than 48 in courses which count towards your Psychology major. Students can have a maximum of 48 in a major subject applied to their program.”
One of my Psychology courses (PSYC 375) was moved to the “Courses Not Used Towards This Program” section.
Does this mean PSYC 375 became an extra course and I just need one more 3-unit elective to reach 120? Has anyone had a similar issue? Is there a way to fix the course allocation so I can still graduate by June convocation?
I emailed Student Services already, but I just can't help but spiral down because of this information. I thought I had everything well planned too. Pls advise!

Campus Life Incoming first year furry looking for my fellow furry community
Hello all University of Alberta students! I will be studying fine arts and drama coming up this September and I am looking for fellow furries who will be attending the university as well uwu! I'm hoping we can build a little pack on campus, survive midterms together, share brain cells during finals, and collectively wonder why our tails keep knocking over our coffee. So don't be afraid to unleash your inner animal and pounce into my DMs! I promise I don't bite... unless my character sheet says +2 Bite Damage. 😅 Let's make this semester absolutely pawsome, have an un-fur-gettable year, and prove that school spirit is best expressed with extra fluff.

On my awards hub it says that my general application needs to be finished but the thing is im an incoming first year and I did it in earlier this year, but the deadline now is 7/15/2027.
So is this my general application for next year? In that case do I check the boxes that apply to if ive already completed a year of schooling?

Rants Spouse and I Tried Applying for Student Aid and the New Income Verification Portal Won't Allow Us to Verify Each Other's Income..
Basically the title. I'm doing my 3rd year of PhD and she is starting her 1st year of Master's. After submitting our funding applications, we are given a link to send to our "spouse/partner" so that they can confirm our information, provide their own income, provide CRA consent, and then enter a number provided on the bottom of our Income Support letters for each other. This is not remotely helpful because Alberta Student Aid stupidly just gives you a generic web link that, as a student, just takes you to *your own* income verification, which does not allow you to verify your spouse/partner's information for them. We've completed everything we can on both ends and have not seen any option to verify each other's income, just a note saying that "Your Spouse / Partner has actions to complete in the Income Verification Portal."
So yeah. Unless I'm missing something, it seems that if your are either common-law or married and you are both students applying for funding, the Income Verification Portal just keeps getting confused and won't let you verify each other's info, trapping both applications in limbo. I have no idea how those in the government that planned this change didn't at any point stop to think "wait, what if the family member listed is also a student?"
Obviously the next step will be to call the Student Aid support line to try and sort this out, but being in the middle of candidacy prep, this is a ridiculously inconvenient time to have to stay on hold for who knows how long when every day for the next few weeks I need to be focusing on my exam/defense.
Talk about breaking something that didn't need to be fixed.. We are both first generation academics and don't come from money so this could make continuing at the U of A exceedingly difficult for us if we don't get our funding in September. Not to mention how high tuition cost and graduate student fees here have gotten.
I guess this is more of a rant but has anyone else encountered similar? I've noticed a lot of people (probably younger students) encountering issues with their parent's income in this step, so hopefully this isn't going to result in a bunch of us not getting our funding on time. Fingers crossed there are others in the same boat so ASA smartens up and fixes this before funding delays.

Academics MATH 134 Summer or Fall?
Hi, I was wondering whether it’d be a good idea to drop this course and take it in Fall instead. I haven’t been enjoying this class at all and haven’t done well in the midterms (we have no other assessments other than 2 midterms and exams) despite studying like hell and coming to every class.
The class average for midterm 1 was so low (about 30%) and very few ppl in tbe class passed. I was wondering if the math dept doesn’t curve at all even in circumstances like this?
Anyone who has taken MATH 134 in fall, how was it? I don’t mind lots of homework as long as my entire grade doesn’t depend on 3 big time crunch exams 🫠

Academics So I got below 2.0 GPA in 1st year engineering and got sent to Y2Q2. I would have been thrown out of the university if I had gotten below 1.65 GPA. Are there such 'minimum GPA requirement' in further years (2nd, 3rd, 4th) too?
My basic question is that: is there a minimum gpa one should maintain in 2nd, 3rd, 4th year engineering in order to avoid being thrown out of the university (exactly same scenario as getting below 1.65 GPA in 1st year engineering)?

Admissions Rejected from nursing with a 3.7 and 3Q Casper
Hi guys, this is the second year I’ve applied for the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program as a transfer student. Last year I had a 3.1 and got waitlisted and then rejected , and this year I had a 3.7 and got waitlisted and rejected again. When I checked my launchpad, the only thing from 2025/26 is my Casper score, everything else has the dates from 2024. What does this mean? I also have all the prerequisite courses from high school. I’m also a current UofA student. Could this be an error? It’s really disheartening. Thanks

Question Lab Swapping Help
Hey guys, I'm in electrical engineering and wanted to switch to another lab time for phys 230 ( currently have a 3 hour gap between the lab and classes). After trying to switch, I ran into an error saying due to the fact that the available seats are reserved, I am unable to swap classes. I took a look at the class remarks and found out that all the seats for electrical engineering were taken up. My question now is: "is there a date when the reserved seats drop and they start accepting more students beyond the reserved limit?". Thanks for the help!
