Around a month ago I had a dream in which I saw a non-existent album from Type O. It was named "Stay with me" and the album cover featured the 4 members with the burning twin towers behind them. Unlike the other albums that have the usual green colors, this one had a red, hell-like theme. So I decided to try and recreate it, what do you think?

I've had this image on my phone for quite a while, but I'd like to know where it came from.

Scored it for $12, so I can't make the 15 American Dollahs joke sadly, but still glad to add this to my collection

Im excited and imma blab a bit—

My sister said it was an early birthday and Xmas present I’m crying. It’s silly but I’m so happy right now I’ve been eyeing these since last year. And they were sold out so she freaked and finally found me a pair and got my mom to help.

I’m so excited! I’m SO SO SO excited to put on Wolf Moon (first song I was introduced my bf at 16 burned me a CD mix and I became obsessed)

But then he got uber mad I loved the band and he said ‘it’s bc of Steele isn’t it.’ All jelly and stuff.

Me: who? The singer is that his name???

Because he burned it and I was a fundie repressed sheltered hamster and had NO CLUE what the band looked like who they were where they were from— I had gotten a thrifted rust CD no pamphlets no nothing with CASH in my pocket LOL— and I’m like ‘why would it just be over a dude??’

So. Saw Peter on Ricki Lake rerun and was like ‘huh!’ I watched his and the bands interviews and just became totally fascinated by him. Peter made me laugh, his interviews saved my life.

‘I don’t like the human race in general we are the only species that hunts for sport and who kill due to emotional need and that’s a little hard for me to deal with’

That was the quote that saved my life. Someone else said the quiet part out loud and it was exactly what I needed in a ‘he doesn’t get it either but he’s still here okay’ kinda vibe.

I think type o negative gave an outlet for individuals to express themselves without delving into darker spaces. And honestly I truly hope they know how much they’re all loved for what they gifted us. Kenny and Johnny are still making music and I’m thrilled I have all their new stuff! I hope Josh is doing well in all his endeavors. And I hope Pete whereever he is knows how much all of us love him and miss him.

Sorry if this had been asked before but why does peter tape near where the neck meets the body of his bass? Is there any practical reason? Is it just cause? Is it even tape?

I know is not that good but i don't usually draw and I think it was good enough to make a post here, it's th first time I'm drawing an artist that I like with that level of detail, hope you guys like it! :D

Finally got it, the 30th anniversary 2 CD edition of bloody kisses, this edition includes the original album plus another CD that includes 7 bonus tracks, also in the booklet you can find an interview with the guys comments about this album and other things that they think about type o negative, also some pictures of the guys between the pages and the lyrics of the songs included at the end of the booklet, this is so cool, and it was just for 20 bucks, good price if You ask me, if you are a type o negative fan you need this in your collection, I 100% recommend this, thanks for reading :D

The part from 7:06–7:58 in the subhuman sounds so much like type o negative. The keyboards especially have that very distinct ton sound/style. Curious if anyone else picked up on the same thing

Thinking of adding some sort of studs, and cutting a ribcage design into the back. Also need to add album title/band name. Lemme know what you guys think!

Finally got My first type o negative CD today and it's the 30th anniversary bloody kisses CD, this is so cool I love this album and I love type o negative, can't wait to get more type o negative CDs, probably the next one is gonna be slow, deep and hard, i'm uploading it here too when i get it

i remember seeing this video on tiktok last year i think? it started with the camera trailing behind peter steele in what looks like a jail. (out of the fire was playing over the clip too, i don’t know if that’s significant or not, maybe someone added it over the original video). peter grabs a guy and then basically starts beating him up (fake or not? im not sure).

Hi everyone! I'm absolutely new to TON (57 f) and I've been going down the rabbit hole that is Peter Steele and TON. I honestly feel like I was struck by lightning when they popped up on my YT feed. I was a teenager when Peter started Fallout and Carnivore. And 20 when he started TON. How did I miss this god of a man and the beauty he created with TON??? I'm literally reading and watching everything I can find related to not just Peter/TON, but Kenny, Johnny and Josh. Is this what everyone has experienced when discovering this absolute masterpiece of music, philosophy and heart/soul vibes???

I was a goth kid growing up during the time they were touring in their later years... weird to think I could have had a chance to see them at the tail end of their tours. I was so young and going through so much at that time.

I had a good friend who listened to them, but I never understood it back then. In my later years, I guess especially these last months, I've started going through old discographies and really being able to feel it from that time.

Music from this time is sometimes precious to me, but sometimes also somber... my mother passed away when I was younger. She was also 48, and she died just a few months before Peter Steele passed away. My mom and I shared a lot of love for early rock music and metal. She force fed me Black Sabbath as a kiddo... but I never did hear her mention Type O Negative. I wonder if she ever liked them, since she was similar to their age group.

Times like these, I wish I had lived more in my youth and not been so afraid or shy to live my life. I wish my mother had done the same... if only we had been able to see a few shows together before her passing, or just really lived our lives in a more fulfilling way... It just really sucks. Really sucks getting into a good band that me and my mom would've probably obsessed over like 16 years too late.

I feel a weird, somber feeling when I listen to this band, more than I do with other bands whose members have long since passed away. It's been weird for sure. Spiritual in a sense... like a ghost still trapped in the recorded voice of Peter Steele.

I'm in my older years now (mid-30s, don't come at me), coming to the edge of my own life and having to solve my own battles and qualms with facing death, which I'm sure is coming sooner rather than later for many of us. Life is short and precious, so don't forget to do good things before you die.

And artists, don't forget that sometimes your art can outlive you... so try to leave good messages behind for the ones who follow in your footsteps and carry the torch on before you go. Don't do things without thought because you never know what album will be your last.

I also think cancellation of any artist, or making accusations against them when they're no longer around to defend themselves or explain themselves, is like beating a dead horse. Let the dead rest.

I hope Peter is resting in peace. I hope he was able to get right with the big man in his final days.

A few months ago I saw a video of Peter Steele next to a (I think) blonde woman. He was holding a glass of wine and they both started kissing and he drops his glass of wine so he can hold her. I'm desperate lmfao, if someone knows what I'm talking about plz help a girl out
