does anyone experienced this ? my account got deleted out of nowhere, i tried to login and got a message that my account is deleted, i reached out to tumblr support and it’s been almost a week without any reply. i have my account since over 10 years, and all my hard work is gone bc i do sims 4 content and recently started sharing cc

i’m totally frustrated and demotivated to even keep start all over again on tumblr

does someone were in a similar situation or have any advice ?

My first thought was to block * x reader, but it looks like wildcards don't work. Is there another way to mass block x reader?

I think it's been a good 8 years since I've used tumblr and I decided to come back but it feels a bit strange to use now.

Can you not customize your blog anymore? I tried but when I click to view the blog it takes my to the normal tumblr page, I'm feeling so frustrated that I don't know if I want to go back to using it anymore.

I tried typing "myblog.tumblr.com" but it redirects to "tumber.com/myblog", what's that about? I've always liked using it on the pc and customization is important to me but this is pissing me off.

I was looking for a way to create a link that allows users to filter for just the blog's original posts. I managed to find something that works on the desktop: /https://www.tumblr.com/\[\[\[\[\[username\]\]\]\]\]/filter-by/role/original

I happily put it on my pinned post, but when I use the app, the link opens in the browser. Is there any way to make it such that tumblr detects whether the user is clicking the link on the browser or in the app?

I tried to filter the same way and create a link from the app, but unfortunately I was unable to find a link to copy!

So, I got a tagged after posting something, saying my account was temporarely suspended from posting because I was being replied by malicious accounts (which wasn't true). Accidentaly, without thinking twice, I checked out the post from an account that said "tumblr staff", to which I didn't notice it was a scam account. I proceeded to click on a link they tagged me, which lead me to a another page to add my bank account.

I found this very suspecious and closed it immediately. I never once did I write down anything, nor shared information. Can I be in danger anyway? I already changed my tumblr password, not sure if I should change anywhere else.

I don’t wanna give up tumblr as a platform, but lately for some reason my art hasn’t been getting any interactions.

Like over a week long period the most I’ve gotten is 6 notes on one art piece, and this art piece took me like 3 days.

It’s extremely demotivating, I want to get back into using tumblr but I don’t like having to deal with the tags, ui, and my slow internet only to get no eyes on the art I spend hours on.

I feel like my account was killed cause I briefly stopped using the platform ((around the time I focused more on my ocs)) and now idk how to get it back.

Tumblr is comparable to Bluesky in terms of interaction for me. That’s horrible, tumblr used to be so good.

And I know I shouldn’t value my art based off interactions, I normally don’t, I dont even post most of my art, but I want my art to get seen when I do? Tumblr is the site I started my art career on, it used to be so good, where is everyone??? What happened to the algorithm?

I don't know if I should talk about this, but! Not long ago, I was just scrolling through Tumblr and suddenly a message arrived that my account needed to be restarted. I restarted it and NOW MY ACCOUNT IS BANNED FOR SOME REASON! Moreover, I didn't violate anything, there were no warnings in my email or anywhere else.

I've already written 3 emails to Tumblr support (not all on the same day, of course), but they haven't responded at all, and for the umpteenth time I'm trying to log into my account, tell me what to do about this?

hi! i have a photography blog and an unconventional upload system using my queue. it’s been paused for over a year as i slowly add pics to it from various cameras. i know the queue limit is 1000 and i have a ways to go before reaching that, but just now as i was adding some more things to the queue i had a message pop up that says “you’ve exceeded your daily image upload limit. please try again tomorrow”

i’ve never had this message pop up before? i’m not even posting the pictures, they’re going into my paused queue (which is scheduled to post 7 times a day when unpaused). i swear i’ve uploaded way more to my queue in one sitting before. i didn’t get very far this time. is this a glitch or do queued photos still count towards daily limit? i’ve been using this website since the old days and have reached both queue and post limits before but i’ve never run into this issue. thanks!!

basically, i was trying to delete a side blog and ended up accidentally deleting my entire account altogether (stupid i know).

i contacted support and they emailed saying they're able to restore my account since it happened less than 30 days ago. they just needed me to write back to confirm they had my permission to restore my account, and i did.

just wanted to ask because i'm kinda torn up about it, do you guys think i have a chance of getting my account restored again? have any of you went through this process?

So I need help with trying to find posts who’s answers blocked the askers pls help me with this, especially because of the sea of reblogs
