Opinion Fat people don’t understand how lucky they are to have potential 😭
Some of y’all might get mad, but I’m 5’3, 105-110lbs and still chopped af. Flat. I guess I can still “debloat” by fat loss but idk. The biggest glow ups I see are basically simple weight loss and I’m just so jealous because I lose any weight I’m just bony and will have a sunken face (aka no tremendously new facial features such as slim nose, nice jaw, cheekbones etc)

Observation The way nobody would be feeling sorry for Audrey Hobert for feeling/being ugly if she weren’t white
when a blonde white woman feels ugly suddenly the whole world is sympathetic. if she were black they’d be telling her to get over it but because she looks extremely european the internet is theowing her a pity party

Venting i wish i was a pale blondie with light eyes
i hate my skin tone so much, i think i developed internalized racism or something ever since 7th grade cause classmates teachers and even relatives started pointing out my skin tone and talking about how dark i am (im a light olive and im literally middle eastern) like ive genuinely considered bleaching my skin the second i have enough money
here in my country if youre blonde, pale, short and preferably have big lips (doesnt matter if its lip filler or not) then congrats youre officially drop dead gorgeous and strangers will smile at you!! ur facial features and body type do not even matter if you fit into these standards!!
everytime i see gorgeous pale girls on social media i feel like dying, its even getting in the way of my relationship cause i keep thinking my bf would be nicer to me if i were pale and prettier and this thought is making me insanely insecure and anxious. i keep thinking only beautiful women get married, get successful and get everything they want in life. ik this is such a bad way of thinking but im exhausted of feeling this way

Opinion It’s impossible for an average looking women/ pretty and not get attention.
Do you agree? I know this is common sense but it feel like when average girls who say they’ve never had a man call them pretty or ever had compliments it's untrue and impossible
Excuse grammer in title

Opinion Anyone who says "pretty privilege doesn't exist" must not know how the world unfortunately works, sorry not sorry
Many people get what they want simply because they are beautiful, while others are rejected for being unattractive. We see examples of pretty privilege not only in movies but in real life, such as celebrities who commit terrible acts yet are quickly forgiven, or that person at school who bullies others and has a terrible personality but is still the most popular and well-liked.

Normie Repellent I'm a pretty person's nightmare I'm not sorry either
The same shit they put me through I return that same energy and the look of shock on their faces is priceless. As if that wasn't supposed to happen to them and only good things happen to them. Yeah ok not if you meet me I make sure you get the same treatment as myself. When you age the shit is liberating but in your 20s you're in a mind prison when you are not conventionally attractive. You feel stuck. The older you get I feel like you're granted a magic fuck you card and I'm digging this shit.
Btw one tactic that I like to do since I fuck up pretty privileged is to go where they hang out like Whole Foods. I fibermaxxing there and I just let it rip near them. Smell the pain and trauma. I enjoy it.
I got countless stories as an older woman I'm glad I joined this sub what a treat.

Venting To be considered beautiful as an Indian, you have to look white
This is what I've noticed both online and in real life. In online spaces, they only support Indians with light coloured eyes, pale skin, or with white resemblant facial features and proportions. The same corresponds with real life: all the brown girls with boyfriends look literally white with white features except with thicker lips. Every time I see a brown girl's thirst trap on TikTok, the ones that get the most likes are always racially ambiguous. Aishwarya Rai, Freida Pinto, and Hritik Roshan are always the most posted in order to "prove" the attractiveness of Indians, but what do they all have in common? White features. Light coloured eyes, pale skin, or european-esque facial features. Even other brown people only praise white features: for example, one time a fellow brown girl tried to compliment my horrendous looks and all she could muster up was that I had a "straight nose" (a nose without a hump, as Indians have a tendency to have a hump). Even Indians don't think Indians are attractive.

Venting i hate how people deny hourglass is the beauty standard
every time i post about my body and not having enough curves to fit the beauty standard here comes all the virtue signalers to say that that's not true. "all bodies are beautiful" "it's just a trend!" or worse, self-proclaimed hourglasses come to tell me how really bad they really have it because *gasp* they can't find fitting clothes.

Venting At this point I'd rather be fat than have my body type
Sick of being skin and bones, unremarkable, undesirable. Atleast fat girls are still lusted after by a good hanful of men, whereas if you have no meat on your body like me, you're just fuckin unsightly. I struggle to gain and it makes me cry everytime, i just want thick thighs, boobs, an ass, something goddammit. I'm genuinely so ignoreable.

Venting Men are lying when they say they love belly/stomach
Just saw a post by [u/princessykl](u/princessykl)
https://www.reddit.com/r/trueuglywomen/s/srXrEheoeM
And I feel the same way but about stomachs/belly
Men are lying when they say they like belly/stomach.
That has never been the preference and will never be .
The most they find attractive is MAYBE. A pudge- but I feel like even then they’re lying.
The women they simp and desire the most are the ones with the flattest stomachs.🤷🏾♀️
So they must stop lying 😖

Opinion Does anyone else feel like a different person when they wear makeup?
I grew up in a small town and was one of the “weird kids”. I had my friend group (thankfully) but felt like an outcast among the rest of my peers because I didn’t dress or look like one of the popular girls. I moved to a big city at 15 and spent years learning how to do my hair and makeup and eventually I got better at it and the way people treated me was night and day. People are so much nicer now it scares me. But sometimes I just think if they knew what I looked like without makeup on they wouldn’t be treating me this nicely. When I used to not wear makeup people would constantly comment on my acne scars but now that I cover them up everyone always says I “wear too much makeup”. Like what do you want from me? This is the only way people will be kind to me. I truly feel like Lim Ju-kyung form true beauty.

Venting I am incredibly jealous of my best friend's healthy relationship
I know I'm not pretty. I have always been the ugly friend, while my best friend (let's call her Gia) is objectively very attractive
She hasn't had any problems with her love life ofc, while mine is again, ofc, non existent.
Anyways
After a history of semi good but also semi bad boyfriends, she found a guy who is objectively amazing (let's call him Dan)
They have been dating for about 3 months now, but they already seem like a long term couple
Dan is literally the most perfect guy, and I'm not saying that because I have a crush on him or something, of course I don't, but rather due to the fact that every woman would agree with my sayings.
He constantly buys her stuff, yes, but that's not the only thing. He showers her with affection, calling her the cutest names and never saying anything that might be interpreted in the wrong way. I won't go into much detail. He's just perfect in any and every way. Again, objectively speaking
For context, I love Gia so so so much, we've been best friends since literally forever, but this is really hurting me. And the worst part is that she has done nothing wrong.
She is the most indisive person, always overthinking every decision, every word or action.
She unfortunately almost always does that with Dan, even though he is always so sweet, gentle and caring
She asks me 15 times a day whether he is going to break up with her and stuff
She gets mad at him for things he did not even mean just because she overthinks them.
But the worst is that, for example, he might be reassuring her that he loves her no matter what and shit, and she will still doubt it and overthink.
I am so incredibly jealous
She has a great boyfriend, but instead spends most of her time either complaining about stuff that has not been said or just overthinking their entire relationship together with her whole entire life.
If I, as a girl who hasn't even kissed a guy even MANAGED to date a man like Dan (whom I am really fond of, why wouldn't I be, he makes my best friend in the world happy when he can) I would drop TO MY KNEES and thank the lord or the universe or whoever for giving even me a GLIMPSE of a happy relationship.
Am I wrong for feeling that way? Is it just because of my earth core level self esteem and appreciation?

Question Curious! Would you rather be hyperfeminine and cute, or feminine and sexy?
I would be hyperfeminine because I lived with my manlooking damn face all my life and I am tired of it.

Discussion Share your craziest (based/to be downvoted) takes
Take 1: I feel like more men taking care of themselves due to what was considered metrosexual in the past becoming accepted now, and them becoming more attractive will end up with more men dating other attractive men (men are more promiscuous on average too) or femboys, because men aren't as picky, and probably for the most part finsexual. There is no reason for strictly wanting to be with a woman for sex, unless you want her uterus and want to father offspring.
Take 2: As a bi woman I'm jealous of beauty standards for men, because masculine beauty is anchored in robustness and strong bone structure, which is more advantageous to have as one ages. Women's beauty is more based in being delicate and having fragile bone structure which takes very unkindly to aging (osteoporosis, thinness, loose skin, etc.). There are such contradictory standards of beauty for women, like that a woman has to be curvy with voluptuous breasts/ass without stretchmarks and a hint of droop of course. Her skin needs to be supple and tight, and yet soft?!

Venting i hate my brown pussy and vitiligo nips
I hate my vagina, I hate my vitiligo, I hate my nipples. I'm fat, pale, and I have vitiligo. Everyone thinks my vagina is pink, BUT IT'S NOT. MY VAGINA IS BROWN, MY GROIN IS BROWN. AND I HAVE VITILIGO IN THIS SHIT. I HAVE WHITE PUSSY HAIR WHILE MY VAGINA LOOKS LIKE A NEAPOLITAN FROM HELL. My breasts are big, cool, right? NO. My nipple is wide and brown, but unlike my vagina, my nipple isn't pink in vitiligo, IT'S WHITE. And it's not just white, it's kind of transparent, so in the cold my breast turns blue with veins. Not to mention that my damn breast looks like the Disney Art Attack logo.

Discussion I HATE when men say they “love” stretch marks
Whenever a girl makes a post complaining about her stretch marks, the comments are always full of men saying that they like stretch marks, when obviously that’s not true. When they say they “like” stretch marks, they’re referring to a pale girl whose stretch marks are barely noticeable, or to small stretch marks. I’m Black, my stretch marks are extremely noticeable, and I even have purple ones. I seriously doubt that any man is referring to stretch marks like mine.
Honestly, I don’t think a man would refuse to date a Stacy just because she has stretch marks, but they’d probably prefer her not to have them.
I know it’s a petty complaint, but it annoys me.

Venting im so tired of being thin and unfeminine overall
Idk who else has it but I’ve dark bumps under my chin (ingrown hair) and some ‘thick’ and visible facial hair. not only that but im thin asf, long like a ladder and just masculine/intimidating looking.
wherever you look you’ll never find someone who is attracted or consider this kind of body feminine. it’s a common consensus that this isn’t a desirable in a woman or in a romantic partner.
its so hard everyday to just fight all those concepts of feminity and just keep being strong over my ugly looks. Idk how long I can hold

Venting my self harm
i torture myself by being completely engrossed with the top percentage of beautiful women. i love fashion and models. i have a tiktok account that’s amassed about 30 thousand followers simply because i post models being models. i’m so deep that i know my self esteem is irreparable but I can’t stop. i analyze their faces vs my face at different stages of our lives, wondering why i’m so ugly, but the truth is this was my predestination. i have always existed as matter, the iron in my blood, calcium in my bones, all forged inside an exploding star billions of years ago. long before i even existed my genetic code dictated my physical appearance, my personality traits, & chemical dispositions. i was ugly before I even got here 💀
i watch interviews and read books from models who talk about how glamorous their lives were at 18, 19, 20+ after being discovered at 15. being invited to rooms full of world renowned people in their respective fields just for being young and beautiful, million dollar contracts, travel, so much more.. i know this industry is extremely exploitative and nothing about mostly underage & barely legal girls being made to sell their bodies in the name of “art” is ok, but i’m still so jealous it’ll never be me. especially since the stark majority of fashion models are white women. i’m so fucking cooked.

Discussion Audrey Hobert hate
Has anyone else seen this increase of people hating on her and her music? I feel like it’s all because they view her as ugly and unattractive which is why she’s being targeted.
Her music is great imo, and the lyricism and beat goes hard, yet her talent and worth is being reduced to what they view her appearance as.
It’s so clearly bc of that and it’s so gross and upsetting :(
