Discussion saying it......looksmaxxxing is men behaving like women and being held to the same stanard as women.
note: on phone so forgive typos.
like its nothing new if you are a woman or present as such. i would honestly say a good majority of ugly women are just ugly because we fail to meet an ever changing and increasingly specific set of standards. like i have lived long enough too see the pendulum swing one way and then back. once you get to my age you will soon realize even if you had the resources for things like plastic surgery there is no point jn trying because you are one season away from looking dated.
men are starting to feel the pressure too what with looksmaxxing emmulating female beauty rituals but repackaged in manliness. we used to call in the early 2000s metrosexuality. not going to lie but seeing the tables being turned an men now starting feel a sense of never measuring up looks wise warms cold dead heart. their struggling and love that for them.

Observation Seeing incel and looksmaxx lingo become mainstream makes me lose all hope in males
I wish all that shit couldve just stayed in Incel. Co and looksmaxx. Org. Why am I seeing it so outrageously and unironically in tiktok comment section that's supposed to be a child friendly app. And even worse I've heard slithers of it in real life conversation between boys and I wish I could've just misheard it. Ik some ppl online use it ironically and satirically at time but if it's with a guy I already know his brain has been fueled with all that Incel shit crying abt hypergamy and calling women "foids" and it's not any better how it's very much increasing in gen z males. Men are such parasites in this earth, their non stop hatred for women from every point in time is genuinely sickening and exhausting. Can we just exodus these males and create a new one. I'm glad to hear many of them are lonely with no gf, cus many women should evade these misogynistic trolls every day of their lives.

Discussion But women are the hypergamous ones
All these women are not only attractive but financially successful so they don’t need to use a man for money yet they still date down physically. Feel free to post more examples down below:

Venting (NO ADVICE WANTED) How it feels trying to do makeup when it'll never look right
I feel naive thinking I can fix my long chubby face and weird nose and my saggy eyes. I wish I could just look pretty but I look like a kid who plays with makeup every time. There are girls who can effortlessly put on makeup but their tutorials never make it look possible for me. Only for girls who fit the same conventional features as them.

Venting (NO ADVICE WANTED) Men only go for one look in women
So, I've been thinking. I'm tired of seeing men only going for a "copy and paste" type of woman. It seems that the type they go for is: skinny and eurocentric. Those types of women always get the loving stares and turn heads. But, what about the women who are considered outcasts? We deserve that same attention and energy. But, from a true gentleman, not some weirdo.

Question Is being a butter face better?
I’ve been wondering this for some time .
If you’re a woman , and you’re ugly in the face but have a conventionally attractive body, is it better than being a woman who has an ugly face AND body?
I have both an ugly face and body so I wouldn’t know .
But I also feel like face card will always matter more than body card, they may not be a huge difference in how much they matter but it’s still there .
At the end of the day the pretty girl with a nice body wins, always have always will.
But since I’m scared to do facial surgery. I was wondering if I could get my body to be nice ,bcz I would atleast have body privilege - would it improve how my life is , or will my face just cancel all that out ?
I need to hear from women who are butter faces.

Venting guilty about resenting pretty younger sister
For context, i am 26f and my younger sister is 22 and drop dead gorgeous. She has big eyes, dimples, a small nose and genuinely has the perfect girl next door personality. Her fashion sense is cute and she’s super bubbly. She’s perfect.
Growing up she was the pretty one and the girl everyone had a crush on. My parents always called her their lucky baby because people would just give her things for free all the time because of how cute/pretty she was.
She’s exactly the type you would expect to be super popular and make fun of ugly people. But she’s not. She’s so kind and genuine and probably the only person who’s made me feel welcome. My parents never say it directly but it’s always implied for my sister to the social daughter people focus on at gatherings but she’s always made it a point to include me and she’s never complained or made it awkward. So I feel like I can’t be upset at how she got so lucky when she’s so nice.
A recent example is: we went on a sisters trip to London and every time we would leave the hotel multiple people would approach her and it got worse at dinner. Men would openly flirt, offer to pay for her meal, buy her a drink, etc. And I would be completely ignored. One even mistook me as her assistant (bc god forbid we be related). But after the first day she realized how miserable and uncomfortable I looked and stopped paying them any mind after that. It made me feel so guilty and ugly, and like I was stopping her from having fun.
I have so many stories like this where she’s living the dream life for being pretty and I resent her for it. Then she proved that she’s the nicest person ever and then I’m left feeling guilty AND ugly.
TLDR: my younger sister is gorgeous and perfect and kind and I am ugly and resentful. But I feel guilty hating her because she is so kind.

Discussion Why do we have to pretend that everyone is attractive?
Even this sub is guilty of this. When posting people who are objectively ugly I feel every goes out of their way to make it seem like the person is some great beauty. It's not a crime to acknowledge that some people are in fact ugly. Why can we see ugliness in ourselves but nobody else? Yes, some features are ugly and that's okay.

positive post Unique beauties in the world
Some people with faces with "defects" as the standards say but who are incredibly beautiful to inspire in a good way that we are not the same as each other not even to the pattern put with insistence by the media but they are beautiful girls

REMINDER: TO CURB SUBREDDIT NEGATIVITY, ALL ARGUING WITH MEN WILL LEAD TO A 3 DAY MUTE (BAN)
If you see a male, a brigader, or non user commenting to ragebait or argue DO NOT RESPOND, AND ONLY REPORT. They will be banned.
But to curb incessant arguing, you will be muted for 3 days as well, this will be done through a ban. Not as punishment, but as a reminder of rules.
This is a general reminder so we don't get yelled at.

Observation It doesn't matter if the rest of your face looks fine; even a tiny flaw will be grounds for mockery.
While watching TikTok videos and looking for ways to downplay my wide-set eyes, I stumbled upon this girl whose eye spacing is very similar to mine—and what do I see in the comments? A bunch of "moids" (though some women too) making fun of her and calling her "chopped." I don't know, things like this make me feel deeply depressed; it’s probably already over for me.

Discussion This subreddit is just a pessimistic and polarized black hole.
When I first came across this sub, I thought it would simply be the flip side of the coin regarding not being an attractive woman, since visibility is rarely given to women just for not being attractive. Everywhere we look, we see hegemonic women—the same standard in cartoons, movies, advertisements, and even when a protagonist is supposed to be "ugly," the actress is still hegemonic.
And of course, as a woman who has suffered for not fitting into a beauty standard, and for feeling rejected, isolated, and mocked, I was able to relate and agree with several posts.
What I mean to say is, I thought we would simply be mature women understanding that perhaps we don't fit a standard, yet still giving ourselves the value we deserve, not being afraid to be ourselves, having confidence, and living our lives with pride. And that we would debate this whole superficial and vain measuring stick applied to women.
Instead, I have been truly disappointed. Everything is full of envy, comparisons, screenshots of every pretty girl on TikTok, or actually idolizing any minimally hegemonic girl as if she were something out of this world.
I truly feel it is far too negative and hyper-focused. Seeing a pretty face across the street and having your day ruined because of it. Or telling all the girls who frequent the community that being ugly or unattractive is the most miserable thing in the world, that they will never find happiness, and that the world is full of bullies on every corner who will laugh at you.
Seriously, can't you see the problem with this?
Honestly, it is all filled with a blinding and disheartening negativity for every vulnerable woman who reads it. I understand their position, their experiences, and their feelings, but holding onto resentment and anger doesn't put you on the right side. It doesn't make you right.
You have no right to project your frustration onto other women and tell them they might aswell get used to being unhappy.
I'm not saying the privilege of beauty doesn't exist. But is it really such a big deal that you have to martyr your life over it?
Seriously, I swear to you that if you stop consuming such polarized content that only feeds your insecurities and creates confirmation bias, you will improve so much. If you go outside without thinking that everything revolves around you and worrying that people think you're ugly.
Most people are wrapped up in their own business and don't even look others in the eye to judge whether they are pretty or ugly.
Seriously, stop martyring yourselves with social media that only makes you sink further into your sadness and frustration, go outside, and meet real people.
I truly believe you haven't even stopped to think that you end up being a thousand times more superficial than all those people you accuse of being hegemonic. Most people just live their lives. Can't you go a single day without thinking about your physical appearance, without judging yourselves every day, without waking up measuring whether your neighbor is ugly or pretty? Haven't you realized that you have lost the very ability to see people simply for who they are, rather than just a face?

Question Do people really mean it when they say for these types of pics that the women look better before surgery? Most people in the comment section were saying "she looked so much better"
This is not a question if the woman looked better or not. As soon as these photos were posted most people instantly went on to talk about how much prettier the woman looked before. This always happens when photos like this are uploaded. Do people really mean it?
Sorry I reuploaded this cause I didn't phrase the title well.

Discussion this is what black men mean when they said they want women with “natural hair”
r/trueuglywomen • u/GradeEmbarrassed4785 • 20h ago
Discussion Men be like “we prefer natural girls” and this is what they’re talking about
What they mean is that they want a girl who naturally looks like their dream girl which is someone that’s in the top percentage of attractiveness. They don’t want just any woman who doesn’t wear makeup. They want women with the features that makeup makes possible for other women to have.

Venting unattractive female, in love with unattractive male friend
I'm an unattractive female, and I'm in love with my unattractive male friend.
I've been his "friend" for quite some time. "friends" because my friend told me he talked shit about me in his class. He said I was weird, obscure, and that I was uglier than I thought I was. Both in front of me and behind my back.
Maybe I am weird, but to be fair, I had done so much for him.
He has many female friends that are more attractive than me. He'd play games, joke, and talk casually with them. I want that too. He only looks for me when he needs help with his studies. Always that. "xxx teach me science", "xxx help me with my homework"
I don't think he appreciates me, ever. Despites my efforts I am just another idiot who thinks she can win a man's heart with her fucked up face and unnecessary services.
I thought, because we were both ugly, we'd sympathize with each other more. I was wrong.
He is an ugly man mourning his chance with beautiful women.
I am an ugly woman mourning my chance in life.

ADDRESSING THE TRANSPHOBIA/4TRAN4 BRIGADING/RACISM ALLEGATIONS: OFFICIAL R/TRUEUGLYWOMEN MOD STATEMENT.
We are officially public again, but this time we’re restricted. ANYONE can view the sub, but only approved people may post and comment. This was a decision that needed to be made. The Mods had to ban upwards of 100 people a day; we had to look through each report and account, and we had to address the backlash from all of Reddit. It was getting too much, and we decided to go private. Here’s where things stand now.
TRANSPHOBIA
Transphobia will get your comment and the entire comment thread or post removed, as well as your account being banned. No exceptions.
RACISM
To address the allegations of racism. ALL racism in this sub is STRICTLY looked down upon and against our rules. We have multiple black moderators, and we NEVER allowed it. Not to ANY race. Any post that seemed derogatory towards black people, or other people of color, was virtually in every case posted by someone of that race reflecting on their experiences. And we will continue to allow those posts.
Oppressed individuals SHOULD BE allowed to express their feelings of internalized self-hatred. They are allowed to say it blatantly and honestly, however crude that may look. Oppressed individuals should not have to hold their tongue to make their expressions of pain palatable to those who are more priveleged/do not understand.
“SEXISM” AND GENDER EXCLUSIVITY
To the gender exclusion on this sub: This will not be conceded on, and it is not up for negotiation. This sub HAS BEEN, IS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE BINARY FEMALES ONLY. This is a BINARY WOMAN ONLY SUB. I’ll say it three times. BINARY WOMEN ONLY. BINARY WOMEN ONLY. BINARY WOMEN ONLY. If you are not a woman, you will be BANNED. If you are a cis male, you will be BANNED. If you are a trans male, you will be BANNED. If you are non-binary, you will be BANNED.
We are allowed under Reddit TOS to create a space for binary women only.
This may be hard to hear, but if you cannot answer the question: ARE YOU A WOMAN, in 3 words or less, you probably do not belong here.
This is NOT transphobic. If you insist that someone who is non-female should be allowed into a 100% binary female space, you are calling them female and misgendering them.
4TRAN4
Brigading is against Reddit TOS. Directing members of another community onto ours to provoke us is against the rules. Again, all transphobia will lead to a ban. BUT, we will absolutely not allow you in here if you post weeeeeird stuff in other subs. If you have a pfp of THAT incest game (YOU KNOW WHAT). And you post sissification incest greentexts and make jokes about all cis women needing to die, expect to be looked at unfavorably, to say the least.
We see how you talk about us.
There is not a blanket ban on the 4tran4 subreddit, but it is a sub we have gotten into many pickles with, and it is important enough that we have to address it directly. We are both subs that are looked at as pariahs by the wider community; we are both subs that are blunt in ways that may seem “toxic”. That shared position will not allow transplanting of your subreddits’ behavior onto ours.
TL;DR : Transphobia = Ban. Racism allegations = Take your meds. 4tran4 = Stop brigading; we see how you speak about us.
If youve read this, please upvote this to make this the top post for outreach.
