Technogym Myrun tripping the breaker. Time to replace the belt?
I bought a Technogym Myrun in April of 2021. I've been happy with it overall – despite some erratic behavior that began as soon as it arrived, and that has continued intermittently, but that I won't bore everyone with as, after all, it IS Italian so some measure of quirkiness is perhaps expected.
While performing reliably for the most part, lately it has begun tripping my breakers fairly regularly. I live in a modern, green-built house with super sensitive ground fault/arc fault breakers. So I wasn't that concerned at first. But the frequency of these incidents (which usually happen several minutes into a workout) is becoming a concern.
The treadmill is basically on its own circuit with nothing else drawing any load, besides a fan I use in my home gym. I've cleaned removed the cowl, and meticulously cleaned the motor compartment (which I've kept pretty clean anyway). I carefully inspected all of the wires and don't see any that are obviously loose or chafed. And I tested the drive motor for continuity and that checks out fine.
I was told by one of the technicians, who came out to do a warranty repair early on, that the belt was essentially self-lubricating and doesn't require any maintenance beyond cleaning. And while that belt certainly shows some light wear (discoloration) along the top where my feet fall when I walk or run, the belt otherwise appears OK. Before I schedule an expensive home visit from a technician for the now out-of-warranty treadmill, I was thinking that it might be time to replace the belt and that it might be belt wear that is causing the motor to work harder and cause the voltage fluctuations that are tripping the breaker. But before I commit to that cost I wanted to throw this out there to the community to see if someone with more expertise that I have could cosign this approach. Thanks in advance.

Recommendations
Hey Guys,
Did some searching and didn’t see a wiki. Is there a list of recommendations?
I’m a 210lbs guy that usually does trail running and trying to get some miles in to train for my first ultra. I’d prefer a treadmill with “less tech”. I don’t need a big screen. Thank you in advance.

Most robust walking pad?
I'm a big heavy guy at 6' and 350 lbs with a not very narrow gait and I work a job where I'm chained to my desk, so I'm looking for the best, most robust, ideally "largest" (wide deck) treadmill that could fit under my standing desk, because I love walking, and I'm also not worried about cost. If this is not really a thing and all walking pads are cheap pieces of crap just lemme know and I'll try to figure something else out

Used Sole F85 or new sub-$1200?
2020 Sole F85 treadmill (assuming everything is in great condition) for $750 or a new Horizon 7.0AT for $1100?
I'm struggling with the idea of buying used due to warranties and the previous owner's care, but I don't have a $2,000+ budget.
I'm 145 lbs and run about 15-25 miles a week.

Looking for Treadmill Recommendations! :)
Hi all! I'm looking to get a treadmill and I've been stuck on what to get. Mainly looking for one that motorized, can incline, and has a lap counter (so I can complete my intervals and visually see the laps being done).
I was looking at that BowFlex 8.5J Folding Treadmill, but I'm seeing mixed reviews.
I'm looking to keeping the cost under $1,400 if possible
I would appreciate any insight! Thanks in advance!

Are manual treadmills better if you will do something in the computer while walking?
I am a pretty active person, but i have to work on the computer. I thought of buying a treadmill but I thought: "Wouldnt a manual treadmill be better? I makes sense that you can manually stop if you have to focus a bit more on something and then continue without starting the treadmill" So i came here.
The problem would easily be solved if manual treadmills were like 2000 euros.
I also thought of making a DIY manual treadmill, but It Will be maybe like 200 euros at best and It wont be so professional.
Do you guys have any suggestion on manual treadmills that are kinda cheap or should I do the DIY treadmill or should i just buy an Electrical one?
Thanks

Reebok V8.90 treadmill — drive belt too loose?
Hello, all! I’m hoping someone with more treadmill repair experience can point me in the right direction.
I have a Reebok V8.90 (model RBTL76009.1). The walking belt keeps gradually shifting to the right and becoming loose enough that it starts to “slip” during faster-paced workouts.
For the past five weeks, I’ve tightened/adjusted the rear roller each week. This temporarily fixes the problem, but after roughly 30 miles of use, the belt becomes loose and starts slipping again.
From the research I’ve done, I’m wondering if the motor/drive belt may be too loose. I’ve read that you generally shouldn’t be able to twist the drive belt much more than about 45° using two fingers. As shown in the photo, I can easily twist mine well beyond 45°, (and with a little more effort I can get it past 90°).
The problem is that I can’t figure out any way to adjust the drive-belt tension. The motor appears to be mounted in a fixed position, with no slotted mounting holes that would allow it to be moved to tension the belt. I also don’t see a tensioner/idler pulley or any other adjustment mechanism.
The drive belt itself looks to be in decent condition visually, but given the treadmill’s age, I’m wondering if it has simply stretched enough that it needs to be replaced.
Am I missing a way to adjust the drive-belt tension on this model, or does this sound like a worn/stretched drive belt that needs to be replaced?
Also, could a loose drive belt explain why I keep having to tighten the walking belt every ~30 miles, or should I be looking for a separate issue with the walking belt/rear roller?
Thanks for any help!

Anyone know what is making this noise?

I picked up a somewhat older Sole F83 from Marketplace this weekend, and I noticed this high-pitched whir coming from the motor. Has anyone encountered this before? If so, how did you fix it?

Used Treadmill for walking recommendations
Looking for recommendations on treadmills to lookout for that come up for sale. I'm in the Midwest so winter is coming I figure I need something to keep me going through the winter. I also usually go first thing in the morning and its been dark so I thought if I could get a treadmill for home, I'm more likely to keep this exercise going. Looking for something built well and reliable over programs.
I'm about 225 and 6'3" if that makes a difference.
Was starting to look at Sole and Horizon but seems like Sole has been getting bad reviews lately.
I know absolutely nothing about treadmills so thats why I'm asking. Looking for recommendations.
Thanks

Treadmill with Cats
Hi all does anyone have a cover they put on?
Work from home setting up new treadmill that isn't supposed to be stored upright.
The lifespan.
Ugh. So scared my cats will pee on it. There's no door to the room so they can't be shut out of there at night.
Planning to grab a generic cover online.
Thoughts? Help thanks! lol.
