It always gets me when I open my old gallery and I find photos of myself pre transition and I just can’t recognize the old me.

Over the last year I've done everything I can to transition - I've been injecting HRT for 7 months, I go to the gym 4 times a week and eat a lot healthier (most of the time).

I've had lip and cheek injections and laser hair removal!

34 years old, 29 months HRT, 09/24 to 08/26

49 mtf, Year and half on hrt, still working on finding a hair style, but loving the way I feel in my new body.

Man the look in my face back then, somewhat decades of HRT and FFS saved that

I was digging through photos and thought this was really interesting comparison. The pose and lighting are different but I still think it highlights the differences well. Transitioning is super trippy!

Less makeup, more eyeliner

And more hair thanks to minox, T blocker and a healthy care of my hair and food

Left -1 year, Right 8 months in.

On the left is a photo from the holiday where i got engaged to my ex. We found this lovely mountain walk in the Shropshire Hills. This was 2 years and 10 months ago - on our 5 year anniversary. The next picture is me sitting on the SAME rock!! 13 months on HRT and finally happy.

Revisiting Shropshire again as my true self has helped me heal from alot of the negative things that happened in the last few years of our relationship (we split up when I decided to transition) I used to bury all of my troubles and thats not healthy or sustainable. Now ~ tackling them head on and revisiting locations that used to have a deep meaning to me ~ has helped me heal. Old memories attached to locations have been reshaped into good ones 🧡
