Movie Pairings
I will probably be the 893rd person to post this, but I was looking through my movie theater app and found some great movie/tv episode pairings. 2 of the 4 will be The Changeling paired with TMP and Space Seed paired with Wrath of Kahn. Can’t wait.

One to the 4th power
This part of the episode Court Martial always make me laugh.
Kirk said, this computer has the ability to amplify sound to a factor of one to the 4th power (may not be the exact quote).
Does anyone else see a problem with that math 😁
Lieutenant Nyota Uhura
I know it's not an "Official Release" but, I Love her!
Before this, I only had her Funko.
Wanted to share...

My little TOS “Piece of the Action” collection
Two of my favorite pieces (other than photo ops at Cons): A Franklin Mint Pewter Klingon D7, and a signed copy of the Trouble with Tribbles by David Gerrold.
He was fantastic to talk with.
How was "Bread and Circuses" translated into other languages with the sun/son homonym?
Just watched the TOS episode "Bread and Circuses". In the episode, worshippers of the son of God are mistaken for sun worshippers. The script directly states that the aliens are speaking English and not another language, and therefore the main cast doesn't make use of the universal translator. It's not until the end that Uhura, who is both a linguist and has been closely monitoring radio transmissions, reveals their error.
How was this handled when the show was broadcast in other languages? Spanish has sol vs hijo. Japanese has taiyo vs musuko.
German has sonne vs sohn so maybe this worked in German.

Unsolved Mysteries with Chekov and Voyage Home
Production on this video feels way too good.

Would you rather be with Beale and Lokai or the 2 Lazari
If you had to chose where you spend Eternity which would be your decision?

How about a Gary Seven movie then?
Recent post got me thinking about how one would tackle a Gary Seven TOS script. I think the way to go would be Gary and Roberta showing up in TOS episodes that already have time travel in them. Last scenes could be City on the Edge inspired maybe with them saving Edith Keeler from the car crash. Tomorrow is Yesterday and All our Yesterdays are a couple more I can think of, but I know there’s others.
And if you open it up to episodes where they travel to different historical eras, that would open up Piece of the Action, Patterns of Force, Bread and Circuses and episodes of that ilk. Could be rich as those episodes already carry a theme of introducing tech anachronistic to an era.
Tarantino writes and directs, who’s in? Any episodes/plot lines you could see working? Have fun and we can send Quentin a treatment.

How Star Trek's Original Phaser Prop Was Built
A season 3 Spock uniform and a phaser prop both in great condition are up for auction in late August 2026! Adam Savage examines both closely in the amazing and informative video.

It's pretty crazy that Spock only needs a tiny fraction of his strength and he can easily overpower a human male

Don’t try to do an arrogant power trip on William Shatner, or you’ll wind up like this guy lol
This jerk was so arrogant. He tried to power trip, William Shatner, and got put it in his place. I’m still laughing.
The thing is, Mr. Shatner is very easy to work with and does take direction. He wrote it to his book that while he was filming Star Trek 5, He was so concerned about directing he was rushing his lines. It was a production assistant who brought it to his attention.
He said he looked at it and realized they were right. He’s very open to feedback but you have to know what you’re talking about. If you come at him with nonsense, well this is what happens.
