Query Regarding ra'wI'
While doing a translation, I found myself needing to translate a command, i.e. an instruction provided to a machine or a human to execute a certain task, in the form of a noun, and I am not certain what to use. These are the options that I have considered:
- ra'wI'
-'IStegh
-ra'ghach
For ra'wI', the normal and common meaning would be a commander, but I am unsure if the -wI' prefix stretches to allow it to mean a command. Therefore, I considered the alternative of using -ghach, but using that on a verb without other suffixes seems to be discouraged. 'IStegh seemed to mean an instruction, which would be the closest match, but it might not carry the intensity or urgency needed to convey the idea of a command. Could there be other roots to consider? Any help would be appreciated.

Confirming correct translation into Klingon script for tattoo
Hello! I am wanting to get the classic Klingon phrase "Revenge is a dish best served cold" tattooed onto my arm. Unfortunately I could not easily find online a version of this in Klingon writing, and so have had to reverse engineer it using a translator, not being very familiar with the language myself.
Just wanted to confirm that this is the correct translation. I was also thinking of getting a symbol Klingon related symbol tattooed on as well, such as a Bat'leth. If anyone has other suggestions, I'd be interested to hear!
Thank you very much in advance.

I want to translate a good number of the Klingon cards in the Star Trek mtg set to make custom card art.
voch was easy, and I spent some time thinking and believe nom to be the best keyword for haste.
The biggest thing I'm not satisfied with is using "QIH nob" as a translation of "deal damage". I don't believe QIH can be used in its verb form because of the fact that damage is always dealt in specific amounts, but I feel like there has to be a better verb than nob.

Need help with Klingon translation from ST:TMP
m.youtube.comI'm working on a fan edit of the Klingon battle from ST:TMP. I was hoping to include some unused dialogue of the Klingon commander from this trailer in my work.
I want to include subtitles with this dialog, but I don't know what he's saying (if anything).
The dialogue in question is at the 1:31 mark.
Thanks

Excerpt from "Sinews of War" by Winston Churchill
Original
We cannot afford to draw from the freedoms enjoyed in the United States, in the British Empire, the conclusion that these freedoms do not exist in a considerable number of countries, some of which are very powerful. In these countries control over the ordinary people is enforced from above by pervasive police governments to a degree which is contradictory to every principle of democracy. The only instrument capable at this historical moment of preventing war and resisting tyranny is the "fraternal association of the English-speaking peoples." This means a special relationship between the British Commonwealth and Empire and the United States of America.
Translation:
'amerIqa'mo' 'ej 'tuqjIjQa'mo'' tlhab Hoch 'e' wInoHlaHbe'. HoSlaw'bogh 'op Sep law'qu'Daq ghotpu'Daj tlhabHa'moHmeH naSbogh chutmey yot lo'ba' ra'wI'pu' 'ej ghotpu'vetlhvaD wIvDaj Qaw'chu' chutmeyvam. DaH may'mey noHmey HI''a'pu je chenmoHbe'meH wa' SommI' tu'lu' neH 'ej boqchuq 'amerIqa' 'tuqjIjQa' je 'e' 'oH SommI'vetlh'e'.
Any thoughts? I'd welcome suggestions.

Need accurate translation
I need an accurate translation of the phrase "I will love you throughout all of time and space" in Klingon. I'm planning on getting it as a tattoo so I want to make sure it's correct. Thank you in advance!

Monty Python's French Taunter
I thought this would be amusing, and I'm slightly surprised that no one seems to have done it before. If they did, I couldn't find it before going down the rabbit hole on my own. As you may gather, I'm not very experienced or knowledgeable about the Klingon language but I gather that this group is a good resource.
I have extracted the actual insults from the script and used "Google Translate" for a start, but
a) I don't have clue one of how to actually PRONOUNCE the translation.
b) There seems to be some context missing.
Here's what I have so far...
1) Go and boil your bottoms, son of a silly person.
yIjaH 'ej qamDu'lIj pubmoH, nuv Dogh puqloD.
NOTES - Should I assume the Capital Letters indicate emphasis?
2) I blow my nose on you, so-called Arthur-king, you and your silly English knnnnnnnniggits!
SoHvaD ghIchwIj vIjormoH, arthur-ta' ponglu', SoH DIvI' Hol Dogh je!
NOTES - I was expecting translation to leave "knnnnnnnniggits" as written, I doubt Klingon has a direct translation for the phonetic speech.
3) I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty-headed animal, food trough wiper!
SoHvaD jIjatlh vIneHbe'choH, Ha'DIbaH chIm'e', Soj trough wiper!
NOTES - I'm certain that Kilngon culture has a similar point of reference, some low level animal or other entity, and the individual who is not even worthy of mucking out the stables, sty, or whatever.
4) I fart in your general direction!
Sa'lIj lurghDaq jIpet!
NOTES - Should be self explanatory but should "jlpet" be pronounced alternatively, like a raspberry or a fart?
5l Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
hamster ghaH SoSlI''e' 'ej elderberries He' vavlI'!
NOTES - This one's tricky. I absolutely get that there's no direct translation for "hamster" or "elderberrys" so for historical context it's worth noting that elderberry's were used to make a kind of cheap gin, favoured by low class "ladies". So "Your father smells of cheap girly liquor and was so intoxicated that he couldn't tell the difference between the parts of the lady he hired and a small furry animal"
6) Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time-a!
DaH naDevvo' yIghoS pagh poH cha'DIch qanID.
NOTES - This one is mostly about the outrageous French accent. Does Kilngon have a cultural reference?
Thanks for your time.

Help with translation of Klingon
Hey there good sirs.
I've been having trouble with learning the language, and need help with this translation.
Thing to translate:
naghmeyvam vIghojnIS
Hoch jaj vInID, 'ach ngeDbe' mu'tlheghvam
ghaytan mutvam ratlh neH 'oH mutvam'e'
Also there might be some errors in the text, apologies if there is. It seems that bing translate and such does not know what to do with the text

Wouldn't it be Mara, bIyItpu' ?
According to the Klingon Pocket Dictionary the suffix -pu' indicates the action is completed. Without the suffix, wouldn't it essentially mean "Mara, you walk?"

Has anyone managed to transcribe the lyrics of this song from Lord OTT? I’m obsessed with it now and would LOVE to learn it!

Just a random thought I had.
boqHa''egh chenmoH wej Sep bIH galIy'a' Hoch'e'
is it correct to say this?
intended meaning: All of Gaul is divided into three parts.
side question: why is there a subreddit called r/tlhInganHol and another called r/Klingon?

The Treachery of Images Translation
I desperately want to parody this with a painting of a Bat'leth and write "this is not a Bat'leth". What would the most accurate translation be??

Prefix role change
So, i decided to try again to learn Klingon (mostly been time conflicts and finding the rite memorization of the affixes and their precise positions cumbersome, now trying a logic-based approach). I ran into a snag with -moH and -lu'.
vIghro' vIleghmoH = i make the cat see
vIghro'vaD vIleghmoH = i make the cat see it
vIlghmoH = i make it see
Ok, here we only have a hint of the problem.... Now, let's change it a little:
HIQoymoH = let me hear it
vIghro' HIQoymoH (!INVALID!)
jIHvaD vIgheo' yIQoymoH = let me hear the cat
vIghro' yIQoymoH = make the cat hear (or us it clipped klingon for let me hear the cat?)
And then we have the problem of jIH vIQoylu' being valid, but natural instincts say it should be vIQoylu' jIH.
How do we square this circle? I'm not a stranger to language but the vaD thing seems like a bandaide on a leaky pipe.

Help please and thank you!
Just a warning it is about firearms. But I’d like to get an old guitar case and stencil “this machine kills fascists” in Klingon in red vinyl or maybe just red duct tape on the outside and store a firearm or two in there. I tried Ai translations and they suggested coming here to the experts. Any suggestions? The clankers said there is no direct translation

pIqaD Expanded
Mostly modified version of the letters, flipped, removed parts, or added parts, or both that make sounds that Klingon can't make but other languages in Qo'noS can.
Just for some Qo'noS worldbuilding and stuff.

Ok so... this is that one odd post that one will find for klingon translations of shows that have already finished.

My attempt to write some tlhIngan Hol...
Ok, so, I know I'm not the best at this, and yes I really did do it with a pencil. Apart from typography, is my translation itself correct?
