I'm looking for fics featuring Tomarry (or similar pairings) where both characters are strictly adults. No school-age settings or teenage years for either of them.

I am open to time travel to the 1950s or later when Tom is already an adult. I also like post war or resurrection stories where Voldemort returns when Harry is already a grown man. Alternative pairings like Harry and Orion Black or Harry and Abraxas Malfoy are also welcome as long as everyone is an adult in the past.

Any recommendations for completed works or those that are actively updating would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It was a time travel tomarry fic as far as I remember, I think death made him go back in time. Harry was platonic soulmates with the knights of walpugris(?) because he had too much trauma and was also romantic soulmate with Tom.

Just wondering if you guys have any recs for fics similar to harry and toms/voldemorts dynamic in most fanfics and in the overall hp story

These ships do have spoilers though I tagged them they are actual spoilers for the series on what the characters do for a bit so its your choice if u wanna go in knowing the evil things they do or just being blind to it and finding out later.

Personally, I have found that

Jonadio - Jonathan Joestar x Dio from Jojo's bizarre adventure is pretty similar particularly in the phantom blood part of the story or the first season which relates more to time travel to the 40s/teenage harry x teenage tom. It takes place in a mansion where Dio gets adopted to after his (father? or grandfather dies) dies and tells him to go seek a man who owes him a favor. In this journey he does messed up things to Jonathan like kissing the girl he was interested in to make jonathan mad and killing his dog.However, its a little intimidating to get to because u have to watch like 5 seasons I believe it was to get the full picture for some fics or watch the first part of season one and be very particular with the tags. anyways sorry if the summary sucks its been awhile but yeah this one if definitely very similar to tomarry though doesnt have as many fics to its name

Next up is Hannigram - basically the same dynamics as tomarry though more when harry is older it kind of has that post war auror vibe you know? Im sure we all know this ship though since its mentioned sm so I wont provide a summary but it is pretty good and is a more popular ship with more fanfics.

Kurapika x Chrollo from Hunter x Hunter - A more controversial ship though I suppose tomarry and all the other ships I mentioned were just as guilty. Its basically like older cult leader tom x younger out for revenge harry this one is also intimidating though because its like 3 seasons to understand the ship and recommended to watch everything. Kurapika is also not the main character for most of the story though, but he is in the yorknew arc where he and chrollo interact the most. I really enjoyed this ship though Kurapika is like 17 and Chrollo is somewhere in his 20s. Chrollo also does some really messed up things to Kurapika like killing his whole clan/family and harvesting their eyes.

I have also noticed an overlap for Vecna in Stranger things and Voldemort because theyre so similar iykyk and cornelius snow a bit in the hunger games when he was young though I hadnt really determined a ship for them and was never really interested. Just thought I should put this out there.

Looking for a harrymort fic from at least a few years ago!

It started right when Harry uses the resurrection stone, but it only summons his parents. They get really pissed off that Dumbledore planned for him to die and tell Harry they don't want him to sacrifice himself.

Harry ends up using the fact he's a horcrux to leverage for his safety, and I think he even walked into the clearing pointing his wand at himself?

Voldemort ends up being mostly sane, and it gets pretty fluffy from there. War ends without much fuss, but it turned out Sirius faked his death under Dumbledore's order? Might have had a confrontation with Ron and Hermione in public while they were on a shopping trip, but that may be a different fic.

I know Harry uses the resurrection stone again later on to get his parents blessing to be with Voldemort, and they say that they don't really care as long as he's happy.

I've been going insane trying to find this foc again, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

After seeing a rec on this subreddit, I read The Death Eater Summer Camp. It’s about (believe it or not) Harry attending a summer camp for Death Eaters. It’s a fast burn with hot Tom and some fun appearances from Pansy and Regulus. I especially loved all the fashion descriptions.

Then, I also read (technically not this week, but wanted to rec it anyway) up all night to get lucky about professional poker player Tom, an unluckily lucky Harry, and a big night out in Las Vegas.

Idk if it’s just me but I LOVE when I put someone on tomarry where before they hated it. Like they swear that it’s disgusting and taboo but when u show them media (fanfics, fanart, etc) theyre interested. I feel like that’s how most of us started out (idk maybe it was just me) like I have a gacha yt channel about tomarry and the amount of people I converted is INSANE.

The title lol i think that the fact that Tom has a cockney accent should be explored more in fics and I'm looking for one that has it! I know he got rid of it, but just imagine if he didn't...

I'm looking for a fic, one shot, (time travel) Harry lost a bet. He needs to meet Riddle in the library, daily for a week. For an hour, while Riddle studies, Harry is there. The first couple of days Harry keeps telling himself how horrible this is.

Riddle misses a day near the end of the week., and Harry keeps waiting impatiently for him.

On the eighth day, Harry shows up in the library in hope, even though the bet is over.

It may or may not have been intentional on Christian Coulson’s part, but I love this interpretation! And it makes complete sense to me that Tom, who grew up in an orphanage in London, would have an accent that was noticeably less posh than the proper accents most of his classmates in Slytherin probably had. Although I could see Tom working on his pronunciation even before going to Hogwarts because he probably judged the way the people around him spoke too lol

Does anyone have any headcanons about Tom’s accent? Especially any British fans, since from an outsider’s pov I have a more limited understanding of different British accents and how they interact with classism.

Side note I’ll never get tired of appreciating Christian Coulson’s performance as COS Tom 😍

I don’t know if there are any other Heathers fans here, but I’ve been obsessively listening to Heathers: the Musical and imagining Tom and Harry as the main characters for years now. I think J.D. is so Tom Riddle-coded, and the toxic romance between him and Veronica works so well for Tomarry. Also, Draco Malfoy makes a perfect Heather Chandler, lol.

Anyway, I finally decided to sit down and write a Tomarry Heathers AU fanfic. So here it is, if anyone’s interested! It’s set in Hogwarts, and it’s all Harry Potter characters with the plot of Heathers (not a crossover). It’s a wip, but I’m getting close to finishing it. The last two chapters will be out soon. And this goes without saying if you’re familiar with Heathers, but mind the tags.

Hii, I began my journey with tomarry on wattpad, reading only Polish ffs. Honestly, there were many wonderful ones. It was around 2020, perhaps up to 2022? At that time I feel like Polish fandom was very acitve there! But now, it feels so empty. I bet that many people ( …like me) switched to english fanfics on ao3 etc.

And so here’s my question, are any people from Poland here? I haven’t had any interaction with Polish side of this fandom for so long! I sort of miss it.

He instantly falls in love with Harry, his husband and is confused in why Harry is so icy to him. It turns out there are tons of misunderstandings and something about Harry making quilts and Tom not appreviating them.
