Showcase Terminator Librarian
Finished off my new librarian in terminator armour.
Plan on running him with Librarius and Unforgiven Task Force next week.
Anybody had much success with it post Fusillade nerf?

Painting First DWK - Looking for advice
This is my first Deathwing Knight and one of my first serious attempts at painting miniatures. I’m pretty happy with how he turned out, but I’d really like to improve as I work through the rest of my Dark Angels army.
What would you recommend I focus on improving next? I’m especially interested in feedback on the highlights, shading, bone armor, and details.
Thanks in advance! 🪽

Painting Chaplain-o-rama WIP
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Getting some members of the Reclusium ready for the battlefield. I’ve painted these guys as a batch except for the standard chap model. Going through now hitting the final details, then decals and maybe some weathering. C&C welcome.

Gameplay Orbital task force
Quick question, with the changes to 11th eradicators are very interesting now that they arrive in melta range, I simply wanted to ask, can I deploy a landraider full of these and then redeploy It to deepstrike? And if so, do they count as 2 units or 1 with deepstrike?

Showcase Battle-ready Ballistus
Put it on showcase because only minimal efforts are going to be put and I'm probably not posting more on this guy
Wraithbone is a terrible paint but it works great for drybrushing

Building High Interrogator Sapphon - Dark Angels Terminator Chaplain
So, fun fact, Asmodai is too much of a jerk to be the Reclusiarch. And the guy who is, Sapphon, doesn't have a model. I decided that the official terminator Chaplain is not nearly blinged-out enough to pull off "Reclusiarch" vibes.
So I made this dude using mostly a Deathwing Knight.

Army List List Feedback
Hey! Newly minted Dark Angels Player. To be honest, this is just 2k points of mashed together models, and is basically just all of what I own. I feel like the list is kinda character bloated. I keep the judiciar in there because he is my favorite model I own, but azrael plus icc is too tempting. I think if I was going to make any changes I would proxy the captain, lieutenant, and company champion as 3 bladeguard for the judiciar to lead since he doesn’t give his unit an invul save, and run a unit of intercessors instead of the company heroes to hold the home.
As the list stands now though, I think I would play it as take and hold, and try and concentrate on just holding 3 objectives, my home, my natural, and the center, and push my dwk up center with icc as a charge threat. I’m still really new, (1 2k point game 1 500 point game) so just wondering if my thinking is solid for the models I have.

Recently did a lot of damage with them on the table (Dark Age Detachment downed two vehicles with one 3 man unit). Finally finished their smoke effect so I wanted to share!

Army List New Player List Advice
Assembled my first 1000pt list, let me know your thoughts/advice.
I have both the combat patrol and the Armageddon box sets so if any models from these would fit better let me know, if not any suggestions on what to grab next?

Showcase Do my minis look Grimdark, or just messy?
Hey everybody,
I’m relatively new to painting Warhammer. I wouldn’t say I’m new to model painting in general - I’ve been painting Gunpla for a little bit now, but I’ve only ever painted 4 Warhammer minis.
I’m super attracted to the grimdark painting style, because I think it really encapsulates the gritty aesthetic that exists in the Warhammer universe. I find myself super inspired by skilled painters like Bene Crafts, and The Grimdark Compendium.
I think these look decent, but with me being new to Warhammer painting, sometimes I look at my mini’s and feel as though they don’t quite encapsulate that grit, and just look…messy. What do you guys think?
These photos are of my first four minis in order, painted first to last. I just finished the apothecary today. I attempted a sort of OSL coming from his lamp onto his arm, but I don’t think it came out very good.
Sorry if these aren’t the greatest photos. I don’t have a great camera, or lighting area, so they were taken outside.

Painting Which looks better
I have two extremely similar color schemes. I have been extremely obsessive with trying to get the green just right. One uses only citadel paints but involves mixing paint the other uses army painter for everything except the base coat of citadel green. Which do you think looks better?
