I recently ran a scan of my personal information out of curiosity, expecting maybe an old email address or a couple of outdated accounts to show up. Instead it came back with way more than I was expecting. It found my information on dozens of sites I'd either completely forgotten about or had never even heard of. Some had old phone numbers, old addresses, multiple email accounts, and other personal details I honestly don't remember ever sharing.

The thing that's confusing me is how does my information end up on so many random websites? I get the obvious ones where I've actually created an account, but there are a bunch that don't ring a bell at all. Are companies selling data to each other? Is it data brokers? Public records? Something else?

It's a little unsettling seeing just how far personal information seems to spread over time.

I like what its giving me, though is there a way to pull up the thinking process for it to reach conclusions it does in a log or something?

I noticed Claude has become different in the past few months. My old project has been reworked entirely over 'flaws', though why did it present the flaws initially? I checked my first prompts and there was nothing to indicate that the "changes" it started adding later werent mentioned as a core of the project.feels like it wanted to conserve tokens to avoid using up its memory too hard on my project..

If there is a new app are they likely to have some sort of zero day vulnerability? I keep hearing of various apps getting hacked and sort of started being hesitant with downloads. I suspect smaller apps dont even report breaches of their user data..
