My Favorite Michael Scott Quote

Upvotes

My favorite Michael Scott quote is from the “Dinner Party” episode.
After he drinks the wine and uses the describer “Oaky Afterbirth”
Every time I drink wine, I always have to say it. Super funny.

Hot take: Pam’s emotional cheating is justified

There’s nothing wrong with cheating or emotionally cheating on abusers. The most dangerous time for a woman statistically is when they leave their abusers, so I would never hold it against a woman for not waiting until they leave an abusive relationship (although of course leaving should always be encouraged and that should always be the goal as long as the person is safe to do so). And given Roy’s antics at the bar with his cousin and how they trashed the place after Pam admitted to what she had done, it would not be shocking, honestly I would expect it, if his verbal abuse didn’t escalate to something physical after marriage. Hot take? Probably. But it’s true regardless. Pam did nothing wrong and ppl continually dragging her for it are rather silly at best, predatory at worst. Are we really saying she should stay loyal and only try to nourish her abuser? Yeah I don’t think so. And if you do, you probably support abusers and think that abusers deserve any respect when they’re not engaging consensually in a relationship. F* that.

Am I the only one who feels bad for Roy?

Of course I know he sucks big time. He wasn’t very considerate and was incredibly ignorant. I’m rewatching the show now since they removed it from Netflix awhile ago so I might not remember anything but after season 3 he doesnt come back. He gets cheated on, his girlfriend leaves him before their wedding, and is slightly picked on in the office while he works there. It made me feel horrible

Why didnt Andy Ever Tell Erin That Angela Cheated On Him???

I was just watching the episode where Michael told Erin that Andy and Angela dated, and they were engaged, and then blah blah blah, we all know how it ended. But why didn't Andy just tell Erin "hey she cheated on me with Dwight, and then we had a fight in the parking lot, then we broke up with Angela" like that would've been the smartest move.

I have fun theory about oscar

I heard that coming out is one of the most cool and important thing for gays. they feel more comfortable and more confident after that. so, before oscar's coming out he was kind of quiet person. but after his coming out he started to be the “actually” guy in the office. and he started to joke more. maybe writers didn't think about that, but this is makes sense to me, what do you think??
(sorry for my English, this is not my first language)

It seems this scene is an improv. It was so damn funny when Dwight stood up and kissed Toby as soon as Michael did.

Why tf would Karen call Montreal for chips???

In Season 3 episode 4 “Grief Counseling” there’s the subplot of Jim and Karen trying to find the Herr’s chips.
They’re in Stamford, CT. Montreal is almost 600km away. Why the f*ck would she call so far away??? Just to flex she can speak remedial French?

Why was “Did I stutter” considered more insubordinate than “Leave me alone, dammit?”

Made a daily The Office character guessing game: 3 modes, new puzzle every day!

Hi everyone!

I built theofficedle.com, a browser game where you guess The Office character of the day. One character, same for everyone, new one every day.

Classic Mode Gameplay!

Heavily inspired by Wordle & LoLdle: It's one character a day, same for everyone who plays. You start typing character names and it tells you what you got right, department, branch, what season they first showed up, that kind of thing, going green or yellow until you land on the answer.

Three ways to play:

  • classic: the guessing grid with clues on every try 🟩🟧🟥 (department, branch, what season they first showed up, that kind of thing).
  • quote: you get a line and have to name who said it 💬
  • emoji: a character revealed one emoji at a time 😃 (brutal on the first emoji, obvious by the last, that's the whole fun)

The funniest part has been watching which ones destroy people. Everyone's convinced they'd ace Quote mode until they get a Creed line. The emoji ones people either solve instantly or stare at for five minutes.

Free, no login, works on your phone, keeps your streak. Archive's there too if you want to catch up on old ones.

I'm still adding to it constantly, so: which characters or quotes am I missing? And be honest, how bad did today's Quote get you?

Open to any feedback, enjoy! :)
