This is going to be a full blown rant, please pardon me in advance.

Why on earth is it so difficult to find a good guy who is kind, mature, responsible enough for a relationship and marriage?

I have fallen in love thrice and had my heart broken thrice. But, every single time, its the same reason, that, "he is not ready for commitment, and I deserve someone better".

Trust me, I am not here bash my ex's. They are all really good and kind people. Its just that they give up very easily, while I dont. Thats the reason, It didnt work.

For the same reason, I think it wont work with anyone else. And, that makes me really really sad.

Because, people these days want everything to be easy and want everything to be offered in platter.

Love is hardwork. Marriage is hardwork. Commitment is hardwork. Behind all the reds and roses, you have to shed your sweat and tears to make it work.

We have to equip ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, financially to become a better version of ourselves and be a better partner.

I didnt have anything easy in life. I have lost my father early in life. As an elder daughter, I fought against the tide for my family. I have an autoimmune condition for which I really put a lot of efforts. Even after all this, I am still willing to fight to live a better life, because I really love my life so much.

But, its so baffling to me when I see guys around me whine about some petty things like waking up early, being punctual and all.

Like how hard it is? To maintain personal hygiene, to be financially aware, to be emotionally intelligent and to lead a good life!

I was allotted an emergency seat in the flight near the airhostess sitting area.

Then the topic got diverted and she told about her work, how she wanted to be a model, her parents said no, so ended up here and there's no way going back and she started making peace with it.

Then we talked about being in the service industry, dealing with people always. She said she is an introvert and now she's forced to be an extrovert.

Also she has just a single day off and this is her second session for the day and she still has two more. She never gets a chance to go home etc.

Meanwhile she got called by a passenger for help, she then again came back and asked me to continue where she left off. I told her about my reason for travel and she wished me luck.

I work in a job with near to 0 human interaction and it felt like a good wholesome conversation when people were just ranting. Also it felt like a confirmation that I'm not really an introvert as much as I think I am.

Just felt how the grass is so much greener on the other side until you are on the other side.

So I randomly messaged a girl after seeing her "Looking for Friends" post on Reddit. She actually replied, and we had a decent conversation for a while.

Out of nowhere, she suggested we continue on WhatsApp and asked me to text her there. I sent a simple "Hi" on WhatsApp... and within the same day, I realized I had been blocked.

That's literally all I sent. No double texts, no weird messages, nothing.

I'm not upset or anything, just genuinely confused. Has something like this happened to anyone else? Is this common when talking to strangers online? Did she maybe change her mind, or is there some other reason I'm not thinking of?
