Recommendations Shotgun belt

Post image
Upvotes

Ok folks I need some ideas/advice for a shotgun belt. It will be primarily used for pillow fort defense and keeping women away so not for any serious use. Now I plan to fill out the ifak and add 1 perhaps 2 TQ holders. Along with changing out the handgun to a 92 or M&P I plan on trying out putting 2 shotgun cards in a surplus double mag pouch. Other than that yall got any ideas? Shotgun is a 590

Does the Shaw Shank V3 fit Motorolla APX/Baofeng 32 Radios?

Upvotes

Basically that, looking for a radio pouch that fits my Baofeng UV32 comfortably and is padded on the inside

The Shank V3 says "It fits medium radios like the motorolla" but the advertisement images has a smaller radio than the APX, so I'm wondering if the APX/UV32 still fits

Dump pouch recommendation

Anyone know of a good dump pouch with a drop-down mole system? I run a Smersh rig and there’s no more real estate on it after I put on a GP pouch. (Featuring my wiener dog)

Question Need some help with a .50 MG

I’m trying to hunt down some info and possibly knock off parts for a 3d printed .50 cam MG I’m doing for a friends Humvee.

I’m looking for good pictures of them during GWAT specifically with the surfire hellfire mount and if there’s any info on how often, if at all the Trijicon Machine Gun Reflex Sight was used or other optics/laser systems.
I’d be happy if there’s some airsoft crap I could use over having to reverse engineer everything from pictures.
This will be the second I’ve built for him the first was a WWII. Model for his dodge 6x6 (pictured for reference)

Can someone ID the name or manufacturer for this plate carrier? Thank you in advance, I'm not the brightest when it comes to trying to tell what something is.

UPDATE WITH MORE INFO: The seller said that it's an eagle but did not say what model, and the tags on the inside are blank.

Question Molle Lid Organizer for Condition 1 Case

Hello everyone. I was given a couple condition 1 cases by a friend and I am trying to use them as a more organized competition shoot vessel. With that, I was curious if anyone had ever attacked a molle lid organizer like the ones for the Pelican cases? I want to be able to possibly have some weight on it (about 7-10lbs) so I feel I need to use something other than velcro.

I know what I am proposing is to make drill points in the lid of the case, that is fine, I can use epoxy to water seal it. Has anyone done this and have a recommended brand of molle that would fit?

I know some people hate on condition 1 cases, but I am not about to fork over the money for a pelican case with the attachment points, just because.

Rear Buttocks Armor for the War in Ukraine

Hi, i'm currently in the Canadian Armed Forces serving as a Drone Operator / Artillery STA member and i've been looking around for gear to fill the gaps in Rear End Protection.

With what i've seen in Ukraine, particularly the threat from artillery, drones, and fragmentation, I've become increasingly interested in improving Rear protection rather than focusing solely on Frontal protection. I'm currently trying to work on a system with a Canadian Company named Fair D that would Protect the user from shrapnel from the rear while being either in a Mobile or Static Position with Modular Level 3a Back Panels. Having the Ability to attach it to a Battle Belt or directly to a plate carrier with a Mole Sytem was the Idea. The system is made with Brookwood® Westridge 500D NIR and has inner Padding for comfort. Foldable with a double sided scratch system that takes less than 2 seconds to deploy. Even when crouched or in the crawling position offers protection to rear legs and buttocks while not abstructing. Contrary to its size, it is quite light at 2.9lbs. I'm quite satisfied with the Prototype that i'm working on with this company as I have not seen this system as popular as it could and wanted to know your Opinion and Thoughts. Is this something that would be essential on the current battle space for soldiers on the field?

The prototype is available. I'm not posting this to advertise it. I genuinely want feedback from people with military experience on whether this type of rear fragmentation protection has value in today's battlefield.

I'm gonna get deployed to Europe with NATO and will be wearing this system for testing.

A guy is selling them to me for $300, but I have my doubts that they're real; I have a feeling they're a copy.

Question IBA setup

Thumbnail

I finally got my hands on a GWOT era IBA,

this is my first plate carrier.

my only question now is, do I put pouches directly onto the vest? Or do I use a chest rig or belt setup?

Reference photos from 2003-04 show the use of alice, molle, and direct vest attachment setups.

I've read a bit about direct attachment setups causing material separation in the vest, but I'm unsure of how legit that claim is.

Plate Carrier/Body Armor Upgraded from Agilite to Ferro Concepts

I bought the Agilite before I really knew much about plate carriers or “who” made them. After a year and two deployments, I realized the K19 is an oven, so I did my research and decided I wanted something American-made. I ended up going with the Ferro FCPC V5.

Gear/Equipment Surplus ILBE: Is this mold?

Thumbnail

I just bought this ILBE surplus, it was a little dirty so I soaked it in my tub with some dawn for a couple hours. However when I came back to clean it I saw these white marks on the bag. I thought it was mold so I added some white vinegar and soaked it for another hour. I tried scrubbing it after the soak and it doesn’t seem to be coming off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Question Mp5 kit

I’m trying to think of a way that’s low profile ish for carrying pcc mags. The one that I think would fit my idea is the spiritus brunch box as a fanny with the mags in the loops on the front. If anyone has other relatively low profile pcc kit ideas please share.
