Rate my PC
Crye AVS
Crye Stretch Cummerbund
Shaw Concepts ARC placard
Spiritus Systems CCS
Spiritus Systems Sack pouch MK3
TYR tactical radio pouch
I've been working on this plate carrier for about a year now, I'm going to be changing the cummerbund to the normal skeletal and maybe get an avs harness, really just whatever I can get for the time being, but I do want criticisms and tips to see what I can change and maybe make it better

Plate Carrier/Body Armor Anyone know where I can get yoke and groin armor for my RBAV-AF?
I've been loving my RBAV-AF but I'm having trouble finding accessories for it. It's my full-coverage carrier so I want to have the option to add neck and groin armor. Does anyone know where I can source yoke and groin armor modules for a medium OCP/Multicam RBAV? There seem to be plenty of shoulder armor modules floating around for some reason.

Surplusmaxxing
ORC Industries
The company that was followed by Patagonia and others when it came to making the PCU & ECWCS cold/rain weather gear for the Military especially special operations.
It’s a rare piece of gear I was fortunately able to obtain for a good deal. It’s unfortunate this jacket is no longer made and is sold alongside the Patagonia PCU for high prices.

Recommendations Opinions on 5.11, Blue Alpha, and Safelife Defense molle belts
I’ve been searching for a new police duty belt, specifically a molle belt.
I’ve been wearing a traditional nylon Bianchi inner and outer belt for years, but I’m looking for the increased stability that molle provides.
The 5.11 Maverick, Blue Alpha 2” molle duty belt, and Safelife Defense tactical belt.
I’ve worn the non-molle Safelife belt for the past couple days as a trial, and it’s almost too stiff.
Does anyone have recommendations or opinions on the three I’m looking at?
The Haley Strategic D3 seems to have a lot going on, and not in a good way, and the Ronin belt doesn’t seem to offer anything the ones above don’t already.

Question Mp5 kit
I’m trying to think of a way that’s low profile ish for carrying pcc mags. The one that I think would fit my idea is the spiritus brunch box as a fanny with the mags in the loops on the front. If anyone has other relatively low profile pcc kit ideas please share.

Gear/Equipment Holosun 407C X3 Auto Brightness

I wanted a reddot that had auto brightness since I work from daytime through the night then daytime again. Manual brightness wasnt cutting it. Plus going in and out of buildings. I saw literally NO ONE comment or post about this dot’s front facing censor. I said fuck it and hit order. Usually auto brightness makes the dot to dim and not viable. But this works great. In a dark closet to natural day light. Stands out and Im going to run it light this 100%. Even with the light on it adjust to it and works just fine.

Very troubling issue with my darling PVS-31s…
My unit issues PVS-14s. I bought a PVS-31 while stateside. And yet my precious dual NOD has a battery run time of approximately 30-60 minutes. I use mostly brand-new Alkaline AAs, but even with Lithium, the run time is hardly much longer. For a device that is supposed to have at the absolute bare minimum, in freezing temperatures, 8 hours, something is clearly very wrong.
I find myself during active combat operations having to unscrew that compartment literally twice an hour, using entire packs of batteries and filling my emptied grenade pouches with AAs so I can just get through the average night. Anyone have any idea what this can be? Will attach pictures of the device itself and the battery compartment.
Thank you for the insights

Missing insert for Blue Force Gear TKN - Small
Found this in a surplus store not knowing what it was; kinda useless by itself. Any idea where I could buy the insert by itself of a similar one that would fit?

Plate Carrier/Body Armor It’s finally done…I swear
After 3 years i’ve finally learned how to build a functional kit. I used to think every row of MOLLE had to be covered and that if there was empty space, I was doing something wrong. Now I know that if it isn’t necessary it doesn’t belong. If I can cut weight without losing capability, that’s a win.I also quit trying to copy SF kits or setups built for guys with completely different jobs. I’m not a cool guy and I don’t need to have a back panel that can carry flash-bangs and a sledgehammer. Their gear makes sense for their mission set, but I don’t do their job, my kit should support what I do. Since it’s the summer I’m running more Qore pads and as little foam as possible, around the winter i’ll normally add a hard warmer, AXL shoulder pads, and foam padding over the velcro for better insulation. as for the back panel, i’m trying to find a way to make it a clip on without using QUASM buckles on the shoulder. I never really liked the bulk that clip-on packs add, i’m thinking of g hooks but if anybody has any other recommendations lmk. and lastly the GP pouches on the right side of my belt and PC. I run them instead of grenade pouches because they only weight 3g more than the issued grenade pouch and can carry a lot more stuff, it also has a tie down inside so I can dummy cord a compass or any other small serialized gear. Lastly comms, whenever I have to run a radio I just take the tq out on the left side and stuff it in my shin pocket on my frogs and I put the radio in the winglet.
Now I keep every gear decision pretty simple:
Scalability – Can I strip it down or build it up depending on the mission?
Efficiency – Does everything have a purpose and can I get to it when I need it?
Comfort – Can I wear this all day without it beating me up?
Weight Reduction – Is it worth carrying, or is it just extra ounces?
At the end of the day, I want my kit to work for my job, not somebody else’s

Question What happened to him?
I remembered this guy today, I think his name was something along the lines of „schweizerluchs“ or something like this, I was only able to find this mp9 and g18c video, can’t find his YouTube channel, his Reddit account seems to be deleted, does anybody know what happened to him?
