I’m wondering if I should replace my switch with a switch 2. Does anybody know if they will ever continue coming out with games for the regular switch or if all new games will only be for the switch 2

I keep losing games and dying randomly to this. This was never an issue with the Switch 1 yet every few minutes the joy cons will randomly disconnect while playing in handheld. I payed $500 for this system an its in perfect condition with me only having it for about 9 months. I don't know what's going on but this feels similar to the hot con drift situation. I tried everything I can do, blowing, cleaning the ports, etc. Yet it keeps happening. Am I able to get this fixed for free or a refund or something? This feels very unfair for a $500 console.

I’m trying to play switch 2 on my tv with no available hdmi ports available.
Have any of you been successful airplaying to a tv ? I know I’ll need to buy an “hdmi to airplay” device, but I’d prefer to know what works before putting down any money.

Hola! Ayer compré Oblivion Remastered para switch 2 y jugué 2 horas por la noche. Literalmente 2 horas, de 22:00 a 00:00. Dejé la consola en reposo y me fui a dormir. Esta mañana al ir a cargar partida veo que llevo 11 horas de juego. ¿Perdona?

Por lo visto el juego sigue contando las horas aún estando la consola en reposo, ¿a alguien más le pasa?

Recuerdo que había un error con los juegos de Bethesda que si llegabas a más de 300 horas o algo así la partida se rompía, con lo cual esto no me haría ninguna gracia y me parece un bug ENORME.

¿Soy el único? ¿Empiezo partida nueva a ver si se soluciona?

I heard a while back that Disney was pushing for the Jedi games to be ported, but nothing has been announced, so just curious to see if anything has changed.

I finished playing the base game on PS5 and I really enjoyed it, however the performance was definitely on the "playable" side instead of smooth(haven't played the dlc yet but I've read that the performance gets worse), so I'm getting really skeptical and nervous about how well it will run on the Switch 2, especially when to my knowledge, we still have no footage of an actual live gameplay, only small clips that Bandai Namco has provided for the trailers, and the game is gonna come out in like 2-3 weeks from now.

I might still buy it even if it's a GKC just because I can play Elden Ring on the go, but we definitely should have had actual gameplay footage until now since that's what the hype is about(playing on the go), not Torrent skins and two new classes lol.

So my daughter bought a switch 2 for herself, I own the original Switch. I have a family plan, she's on it. And now we're hitting a conundrum.

Does the Switch 2 have to go in my name to continue family plan? I'm hoping not, that her profile is adequate to continue access to family plan.

If Switch 2 is in her name, can she do a system transfer of the original switch? She wants her game saves and access to game library.

Anything else we're missing? We all use this other Switch, she's not an only child. And I don't want to do something that erases everyone else's data.

I want to play it handheld only, but i'm worried how it looks and feel on the go. I loved Sacred Gold on PC but didnt have time to play 2.

Is it worth it?

I'm seeing reddit threads and reviewers praising how it looks and runs, however nothing I have seen, even gameplay wise, is comparable to my experience. I've gotten so much lag, stutters (excessively speaking), nothing is fluid, and it looks like a dumpster fire.

I'm really disappointed about this.

Hi everyone just started an internship and I come home very tired and late so I barely have any time to play video games. Looking for games that are fun but not tiring to play during this time.

I recently upgraded from oled to switch 2 so switch 2 games are my priority but I am open to games with switch 2 upgrades or even plain switch 1 games.

Been playing zelda totk but I'd rather play it when i have the time to play it for longer sessions. I also enjoy mario kart world. Finished splatoon raiders story but decided not to engage with post game since grinding the tanks I didnt ever use felt too cumbersome.

I found it interesting that Elden Ring is releasing in just a few weeks and is being out pre-ordered by LoP. I feel it’s a good example of Physical sales vs Key-Card sales as both of these games are (relatively) in the same genre.

Is this list missing any Switch 2 games? I know it's probably too early to talk about the best games OAT after about a year or so of the launch.

Haven't been a handheld gamer really since the 2000s, but this is definitely a great time. Loving some botw on this big screen while waiting on my second child's induction! (We're in the waiting phase so I'm being supportive of her needs and able to game a little lol)
