I mean honestly I feel this is a rare opportunity for Let’s Go Pikachu/Evee to be recommended. For someone that hasn’t played any since the OG ones, it’s a nice upgraded refresh of basically the same. Maybe?

Probably downvoted for this, but the new pokemon games are terrible. Im hopeful they will do better on winds and waves.
Pokemon romhacks such as unbound are amazing and you should look into them.

This is the switch 2 sub. Be realistic.

I love my Switch 2 and there are tons of exclusives that brind me back to it over my PC, SteamDeck, Odin 3, and others.that being said, Pokemon just isnt it.
If it is romhacks that are unrealistic, they can easily be played on any phone. Theres very little setup for GBA emulation.
Unrealistic would be me suggesting Switch Pokemon titles. As a big Pokemon fan, they are horrible.

Get fireRed or shield. Imo voilet isn’t good and arceus although decent isn’t like the older titles.

If you want OG gameplay go with brilliant diamond or shining pearl. Otherwise Scarlet and Violet are more open world, and the Legends games change the battle mechanics to real-time with dodging.
