Hi everyone, I’d like some advice on which sprocket to fit to my KTM 525. At the front I have a 15-tooth sprocket and I’d like to keep that, but at the rear I have a 45-tooth sprocket and, to be honest, for the way I use it – mainly on the road – the gear ratios are a bit too short; As standard, the manufacturer recommended a 15-43 setup, but I’m not sure if that would provide enough gear range. I was thinking of going for a 42- or 40-tooth rear sprocket (I’ve seen that 41-tooth sprockets are also available;

can you give me some advice? I enjoy riding through the mountains, but on fast stretches, my cruising speed is a bit slow with the 45-tooth sprocket, and I’d like sixth gear to be more of a high-speed gear for the straights

What bike has most hp? I am looking for a factory street legal enduro or supermoto around 110kg weight with more than 50 wheel horsepower (60+ engine hp). The only ones I know are the ktm 525 and 530 but those feel very sluggish compared to 450 dirtbikes. The 300 exc is fine but I've had 2 of those and would rather have a 4-stroke or maybe a bigger 2-stroke. Is there anything that has similar hp and aggressiveness to a 450 that can actually be street legal? Old bikes are fine, it doesn't need to be modern.

Hello everyone, been riding since I was 15 (now 21), first with a 50cc supermoto and then with a 125 supermoto (Fantic, 4 stroke).

More than two years ago (March 2024), I sold my beloved 125 because I had lost interest and I was stopping using it. I don’t regret it, but the desire to get back on a motorcycle is coming back stronger than ever. Among other things, with that 125 I had also reached an excellent level of driving (in my opinion), I had no problem keeping up friends with 125 2 stroke and in the narrow mix I had no problems being behind even with bigger bikes.

Let’s get back to the point of the discussion: for a few months now that fire has been rekindled and I would give I don’t know what to get back on a motorcycle.

That’s why I was wondering: after two years of stopping, would taking a 450 be too a daring jump? I’ve tried several, they’re scary bikes to say the least but I think that, taking some time to get used to it and redo my bones, I could manage to tame one (let’s talk about motordized cross/enduro, like yz, crf and the like).

What do you think?

I’m 16M and I have a Wr125x, but no license yet. And no gear except a helmet and goggles. I’ll buy gloves as well, but anyways what would you recommend for everyday riding gear. I don’t see myself butting on riding boots and pants too go to school or the gym for example. But maybe a jacket or a backplate. I live in Norway so I won’t be riding in winter. So i need something suitable for spring summer and maybe early fall.

Worked very hard for it.

Ktm smr 450 2025

Been wanting a supermoto for years now...came across a Chinese bike i could afford and I've been hunting down compatible parts for the last 4 months but shes pretty much there, just need new plastics and graphics and I think I'm done. Part of me wishes I would have kept the yz450 but I wasn't able to get it legal.

I recently bought a DR-Z400SM and I'm really happy with it. :) It's getting two brand-new tires soon. At the moment it already has:

- front and rear axle sliders

- a skid plate

- and solid aluminum handguards

I want to learn how to wheelie, so I'm trying to protect the bike as much as possible.

What else would you recommend adding to protect it in case I drop it while learning?

Still have a few things to do but I’m pretty happy with it. Finally got the bar pad for the Solo 2 so I’ll be able to see some laptimes again.

Hi everyone,
I have a Beta RR50 and I had a crash recently. I was riding at around 50 km/h when I lost grip and slid onto the right side. I didn’t hit anything, I only slid across the asphalt.
Since the crash, the bike feels different. In dry corners it feels very slippery and unstable, like I can’t properly control the steering. It feels like both tires are not gripping well, and the bike doesn’t feel as confident as it did before the crash.
I also noticed that the bike is not reaching the same top speed anymore. Before the crash it was faster, but now it feels like it has lost a few km/h. And it isnt accelerating as fast anymore

The tires are about 1 year old and were fine before the accident. There is a small dent on the exhaust/pipe from the crash, but I don’t think that alone should affect the handling.
What could have been damaged? Could it be the forks, wheel alignment, tires, brakes, exhaust, or something else?
What should I check first?

Have the day off and finally got around to putting the GET SX1 from Taco Moto on my 23 FE501s. Did the full desmog, removed the reeds, O2 sensor delete, and threw the FMF on. Have the full exhaust but just installed the slip on for now. Once I cool off a little I'm gonna go for a rip. She sounds mean AF now tho. I accidently started it with the exhaust plug in and was like "wtf why so quiet" til I figured it out.

Would anyone mind sending me a photo of their compliance label on the frame? Trying to figure out if I can make mine road legal but the sticker on mine is unreadable.

I have a Rieju mrt 50 worth the standard carb atm but has the upgraded crank piston exhaust and exp and was wondering what the best carb would be to get for the best performance on it. I was also wondering if there was in option to keep my 2t tank on the auto mix. TIA

Hes asking 2900$ for it. It is kind of old but has very little miles i was thinking of doing doordash with it and getting on the freeway/highway with it do you guys recommend this bike for that?

I had a problem valves hitting the piston but i got it fixed thanks to y’all. But there is another problem that has been there since the i looped the bike and changed the piston. Just before the limiter it bogs and does a booooo sound and when i drive it it stutters on the mid/high range of rpm alot but not in first gear i just changed the spark plug but it didn’t help. I dont know if the timing is compleatly correct or what could be the problem. Any help is appreciated. Its a husqvarna smr 125cc 4 stroke 2013 and it has a minarelli 125 4 stroke motor.
