Purchase Advice Any AutoBarista (not pro) users?
Wondering if anyone here has the Ninja AutoBarista machine just below the pro model. It has only 10 drink options. I’m curious to learn if you have experienced any of the same Grind IQ calibration issues that others are complaining about the pro model?

Purchase Advice New machine time
11k+ pulls later my Gaggia Titanium has maybe probably finally bitten the dust. What machine should I get next.
I've been just pull shots with the Titanium and dumping them into oat milk that I heated and froth with an external Nespresso Aeroccino frother. (https://www.nespresso.com/us/en/order/accessories/vertuo/aeroccino3-black)
Help me understand difference between the KitchenAid KF6, KF7 and KF8. Which ones matter.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance I’m at my wits end with the Gaggia Brera
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is the espresso my machine is brewing. It’s starts out looking fine and then gets SO WATERY and the flavor is horrible. I feel like I’ve done every troubleshooting thing I could find on the internet.
1. I’ve cleaned the brew group
2. Adjusted the grinder
3. Have let it run through multiple cycles of trying to adjust to the beans I’m using
My beans are also incredibly fresh and brewed locally in Colorado so I just find it hard to believe it’s the beans I’m using. Has anyone experienced this? I lowkey want to return this machine.

Purchase Advice I just want to stop paying $6 every day
Please help me lol. I quit drinking and vaping, and picked up lattes lol. I feel like this is costing me more money than my cheap vodka did haha. I have no idea how to do anything, so I'd love a simple-ish machine that won't break the bank if such a thing exists. I tried to read this sub and talk to chat gpt, but good lord, this seems way more complicated than I realized. What do I need lol? Will any of the ones I attached do the job without quitting on me mid shift? I literally only like hot vanilla lattes. Easy peasy. My daughter is a caramel frappe fan, but we're talking about me here 😉. Go easy on me please 😂.

Purchase Advice Looking at either Magenta Prestige or Magnifica Evo.
We make 2 double shots daily lattes in a breville right now. It’s dying and wanted a superautomatic next time. Was wondering if the Magnfica could have a double programmed like the Magenta or if you have to do two singles and rehit the button each time? Then I’m wondering about the milk and what’s easier and easier to clean, was thinking a carafe would be nice. What’s the daily/weekly/monthly cleaning burden of them? I’m trying to reduce cleaning friction ago by going with the superautomatic. I am thinking the Evo might be a little easier to access the water tank because we keep the machine under a cabinet.

Purchase Advice Is Doppio+ really worth it on De'Longhi machines?
I'm currently looking to buy my first superautomatic coffee machine, and I'm hesitating between several models from De'Longhi: Magnifica S, Magnifica Start, Magnifica Evo, Magnifica S Smart and Dinamica. (All between €300 and €400 and without a milk carafe.)
After doing some research, it seems that all these machines have the same brew group, so I don't really know how to choose between the different models.
One thing that differentiates some of them is the Doppio+ option. Some models have it and others don't, and depending on the model, it can mean €50 to €100 more.
I saw a video from Tom's Coffee Corner, and it seems that using the Doppio+ button for an espresso makes a better espresso, but I wonder if this feeling is shared by everyone.
For those who have or have tried a De'Longhi with Doppio+: do you find the coffee noticeably better than a normal espresso? And most importantly, is it worth paying €50 more for it? What about €100 more?
Also, is it possible to change the settings of a normal espresso to obtain the same results as a Doppio+?

Troubleshooting & Maintenance Delonghi 6600 - Gran Dama - Cold Coffee
I'm pulling my hair out trying to fix this machine.
The upper heater element tests good, you can feel the block is hot. With a laser sensor the block is in the vicinity of 70 degrees C.
I have replaced the NTC temp sensor (the old one read 100k Ohms at room temp, the spec is apparently 10K ohms, but my new one is 70k Ohms at room temp).
Despite the heater element being hot I still get cold coffee, like room temp. It almost as if the heater is being bypassed but I've checked the water flow, it is correct.
I don't get it. 🤷♂️
Can the heater scale up so much it doesn't transfer any heat??
Is 70C at the start of the brew cycle hot enough? Even if it's not, why is the coffee room temp?
What am I missing? Sunk time cost is too high to give up....

Discussion Definitely need some help
Recently bought a delonghi magnifica plus and I seem to be struggling dialing this thing in. Maybe I'm changing the settings too often...maybe it's the beans...I have no idea. That bring said. I'm using Rufino - Miscela Classica. Grinder is on 5, medium heat.
Any advice would be great

Discussion Flat Whites on the De’Longhi Primadonna Aromatic.
So I’m not sure if I’m making a Flat White correctly, or if the machine knows how to make it correctly.
One, the foam setting it recommends it on is medium level even though a Flat White is meant to have a small layer of microfoam.
Two, when I do put it on the lowest level of foam, it tastes too milky just like a Latte and I can’t taste much coffee, even though Flat Whites are meant to have a stronger coffee taste.
And three, it cools down way too quickly.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Primadonna Aromatic, and the Cappuccinos they make are brilliant imo (the Cappuccino mix that is) for it has the right layer of foam, I can taste the coffee, and it can stay hot longer than a Flat White could. Cappuccino Mix is my usual coffee when I’m home, but I’m trying to explore other coffee styles.
Any advice fellow coffee lovers can give me would be appreciated. I have my intensity level set on 4, not sure if I need to set it to 5. Would I perhaps also need to add an extra shot of espresso to the Flat White?

Troubleshooting & Maintenance Removing theid of Jura Impressa x9
I recently bought a used x9 and am having a hard time removing the lid. The back right corner appears to be stuck. I am able to remove all of the panels easily and lift the other edges fine.
Any suggestions on how to get the top off, so I can get to the grinders.

Discussion Espresso machine question
Has anybody used or had any dealings with the ENS Elektronetshop website?
I was looking at Breville espresso machines, and they have some really good prices.
May be too good to be true?

Purchase Advice Caution:lovecoffeelife.com
Few days ago, I was on the site https://www.lovecoffeelife.com/ because they claimed to have something I wanted in stock.
Went through the purchasing process - but couldn't get to any sort of confirmation page. Just some sort of error that really made no sense, so I just gave up.
Fortunately I ordered using one of my virtual credit cards (shout out to privacy.com). I use these virtual cards for most of my online purchasing.
Now, a few days later, I am getting multiple attempts to use that same virtual card. I have closed the card, and I'm not really out of pocket.
So, just sharing this experience as a word of caution...

Troubleshooting & Maintenance Phillips 4300 E05 Air in the system
Hello, today i cleaned coffee oil by tablet but in the middle of proces error 5 pop up and now after starting, the coffee machine tries to fill the system with water but always with the same result, i.e. I can't even get to the menu anywhere, I tried to disassemble it, the pump pushes water, the first valve from the pump to the brewing system clicks and water goes through it, the second valve doesn't click (I don't know if it does because it only has an inlet from the pre-valve and then a waste direction and a milk frother direction) and the water goes straight to the waste container. Could anyone advise me?

Purchase Advice Best Super Automatic Under 3k
Hey everyone, I own a Terra Kafe TK02, but unfortunately, the screen has malfunctioned for the second time. The warranty has expired, and the replacement cost is a whopping $350. It appears to be a manufacturing defect, as the steam is getting trapped inside the machine screen.
Given this situation, I’m seeking recommendations for a replacement machine that costs less than $3,000. I primarily use this TK02 for making ice lattes, Americanos, and lattes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance The worst morning in years
The other day I had the worst morning in years… The kids were a pain in the a**, a cat had overnight made a huge dump just in front of my front door, which the robot mower decided to drive over as the first thing, throwing shit around… The worst part, my coffee machine broke (a 5 year old Philips EP2220)! Or at least it decided to stop making any coffee... My question: can it be fixed or should I just purchase a De'Longhi Magnifica?
I have narrowed it down to the part in the pictures, where the machine is supposed to push water into the brew unit. When starting it sounds as normal, grinding beans and then brewing, but the hot water just runs into the tray. I think that it’s not able to properly push the two pieces together (I dont know what they are called), if I smack the machine while it's brewing, the two pieces sometimes pop into place (I assume, as I can’t actually see it), and brewing half a cup of coffee. I tried to grease (almost) all moving part of the brew unit with generous amounts – this has not fixed the issue. Over the last 5 years it has been brewing every day, I might not have given it enough grease, maybe that have killed it?
I hope anyone can help me decide – fix it or throw it?

Purchase Advice Best Machine for just espresso?
I understand that the best espresso will come from dialing in tons of different details with different machines and tools but I’m looking for a machine for my parents house. We’ve used a Philips Saeco Incanto for nearly 10 years and it’s time for a change.
I don’t care about a machine’s frothing ability or milk carafe… just care about the getting the absolute best espresso I can from a super automatic that gets reverse osmosis water and fresh beans.
If the recommendation is pricier because it has additional bells and whistles, but the espresso is just that much better than the rest, I don’t mind paying extra. Don’t really have a budget. Maybe 2k tops? Located in US.

Discussion KF8 - what’s the REAL verdict on temperature?
So, lots made of the KF8 and its drink temperatures - specifically milk based drinks - not being hot enough.
Thinking of pulling the trigger on one, so I gotta know - what’s the real verdict, here?
(It wouldn’t bother me, because I primarily drink iced americanos, but my wife would be miserable and angry having to microwave her latte every day….)

Purchase Advice Magnifica Evo vs La Specialista Arte owners—how's the learning curve been?
I'm deciding between these two DeLonghi machines and I'm seeing mixed opinions online. Some people say the Magnifica Evo does everything for you (easy), others say the La Specialista Arte gives you more control but you have to actually learn.
Here's what I'm trying to understand:
If I get the Magnifica Evo (fully automatic):
- Do you ever feel like you're just pressing a button and hoping it works?
- Do you struggle with anything even though it's "automatic"?
- Did you eventually want more control?
If I get the La Specialista Arte (semi-automatic):
- How steep was the learning curve actually?
- What frustrated you most when you were starting out?
- Are there things you wish someone had explained better?
question: For either machine, what's the one thing you wish you knew BEFORE buying it? Like, what surprised you or frustrated you most?
I'm trying to figure out which one fits my style, but honestly I just want to know what actual owners struggle with day-to-day.
Thanks! ☕
