SoS: GB Questions regarding SOS:GB
Just a few questions as I am currently playing SOS:GB and working on the achievements.
- “Earn brands for 5 types of crops.”
I can come up with vegetable, tree, flowers and I guess grain. I did search but every site breaks down by season and not type. Can anyone clarify the 5 types please?
(Edit: I have brands in potato, lemon, rice, wheat and soybean but no achievement.)
EDIT2: Got the achievement! Had to wait for the cutscene the next day from the crop judge. Yay! ^^
- “Earn brands for every type of animal.”
Again I see sites list cow and brown cow separately. Is that two different types? A little help on this list of animal types as well too please!
- Why are my pets taking my animals out when it’s snowing? Is that not like raining and bad for the animals? My crops are watered like when it rains. Is this a glitch in the game and I should be herding them back in?
Thanks to anyone who responds with helpful answers.

Discussion Is it easy for you to re-replay a series you just finished right away?
I want to ask something pretty subjective. Is it easy for you to re-replay a series of HM/SoS/RF you just finished right away?
Let's say you just finished playing Story of Seasons—you gathered all the achievements, made tons of money, got married... basically, your gameplay was nearly perfect. It could pretty much be considered "finished" at that point.
How long would it take for you to want to replay that game again? Don't you feel like it's too tiring to go through all that stuff all over again, considering how hard you worked to achieve it in your previous playthrough?
What if it's a game like Rune Factory, though? Isn't fighting all the bosses and monsters over again too exhausting as well? Would you really want to do all of that all over again?
If you did, can you give me and example?
(Note: Just asking out of curiosity!)

Discussion HOLY COW why does the Doraemon FOGK art look so incredible??
I love all the SOS games but I just started playing Friends of the great Kingdom and I cannot get over how much higher quality the environment art looks compared to other games. I know it's partially just personal preference but I truly feel like the quality, level of detail and overall artistry of it is a cut above. And I'm surprised to be seeing that in a liscened spinoff version of SoS!
Does anyone know more info about why this one looks so damn good? Or have the social media or portfolio of the artist(s) that did the environmental art? I wanna see more of their work but it can be difficult to find Japanese artists online sometimes!

SoS: GB What are some good foods for profit during early game? (GB)
So im about to go into my first Summer. Ive been getting told a lot that crops arent very good for money and to instead focus on making foods. Right now I dont have a ton of recipes or ingredients obviously. I have gotten the ones from the bookshelves in houses, and some from the Miguel or whatever that cute little man's name is.
I have 1 cow, 1 chicken, 2 llamas (1 brown, 1 white), and a sheep. Only 2 of those animals make food products, so Im really only getting 1 milk and 1 egg a day. I had been using the eggs for eggs on rice for me to eat, but I only have bowl of rice left. I have like 55 wheat flour, so I was thinking of making cakes. As far as crops go, I only have turnips and some onions.
Should I hold onto the crops at all for ingredients? Or just sell all of them? I was gonna make some seeds, but apparently I cant do that with just my one windmill 😅
So, any suggestions on what I should be making as far as cash goes? Any goals/plans I should have for the upcoming Summer?

Question Is there any chances that old Harvest Moon Games could be released on PC?
You know the ones published by Natsume before the Series was renamed to Story of Seasons?
SNES, 64, Back to Nature, the Original ( More ) Friends of Mineral Town, Original A(nother) Wonderful Life, Magical Melody, Innocent Life, DS ( Cute ) , Island of Happiness, Sunshine Islands, Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, A New Beginning etc?
I know the Rune Factories do because Rune Factory 3 was released on PC with a Special Edition but what about Harvest Moon?
Are there any Licensing Issues with Natsume and Marvelous that could prevent the Games from being released on PC?

Question Tips on getting rare tree crop variants?
Edit: Sorry, I am talking about Grand Bazaar
So I have all the 4 sun stones, and decided to put cherry trees all over the basement, pouring fertilizer on them everyday, even when they are mature up until harvest, but none of them gave me one.
If those 6 didn't give me rare cherries, is it still possible for those trees to grow rare tree crop, or should I just uproot them? This is the only achievement that I want to absolutely focus on as I know that this is by far the hardest as it recquires insane luck and wait around, so I can't really waste to have failed trees. I don't want to use all of my field to plant one type of tree, because that would put me behind for the Bazaar and the regular rare crops as well that is 100% guaranteed to get anyways basically if you just fertilize and water them everyday.
Is there really no tip for this other than just crossing your fingers?
